He’s very personable and after losing his companion cat last year seems to be lonely when we left. My last sitter would medicate and leave, but Kayligh stayed and played and visited with him. “Ayah is amazing! We had never used Rover before and were a little nervous to leave our pup with someone we didn’t know. Ayah immediately made us feel completely at ease. She met us on short notice the morning before our appointment so we could introduce ourselves and our dog. After a short period of time we knew we could trust her. She worked with our dog on tricks and supported the training we are reinforcing (no jump, no beg, etc). I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!

About: I’ve had a dog as a pet since I was 4 years old. Grew up on a farm showing cows and other livestock, and attended college for an animal science degree. My life has always revolved around animals 😊 I work full time remotely from home, so the only time I would be away from the dogs is to run a quick errand. My dog is here with me all day to entertain as well! I have a partially fenced yard and a dog to keep your dog company! Never left unattended outside, and can easily crate the dogs if needed and at nighttime. Love to take my dog on lunchtime and after work walks!

About: I understand that the worst part of your day is leaving your dog. I absolutely love dogs and will guarantee that your dog will feel safe and happy at home when he/she is with me. I am the one amongst all of my friends that watch their dogs or simply take them out for a hike because they don’t have the time or energy. I have watched dogs from malamutes to Yorkies, and I’m a very active person that loved to exercise my late dog (as of March this year) with hikes to get his energy out! However, if a walk is all he needs or lots of attention at home I am happy to do that. I am a physical therapist and have just completed my canine rehab certification to work with animals and have also recently lost my Aussie of 10 years but not ready to have another, missing my dog interactions! I’m currently working PRN around western NY- I definitely have availability at nights for the long walks they may need and daytime hours are variable according to my work schedule, just ask ! I have availability to a fenced in yard, my apartment would require stairs however. I take frequent walks and can accommodate to your dogs schedule.

About: I am wild about dogs, all breeds. I often think if I could go back, I might have gone to school to be a veterinarian. I grew up with dobermans, cats, riding horses and much more. I have found that most animals love me. I just lost my Golden Retriever, Nalu, after 14 amazing years. Something to be said in that she had more Facebook friends & photos than I do. I just moved down here a year ago from South Glastonbury and most of my new neighbors in Deep River have asked me to watch their animals at one time or another without any sort of solicitation so I believe that is a testament to my character and integrity. About: I grew up with dogs & cats. My parents bred Westies and we had a houseful. I’ve always had at least one dog and at least one cat until recently when I lost my most recent cat. Now Sophie, my dog, and I are on our own. We both love dogs and are looking forward to meeting some new friends I work part time for myself, so I’m very flexible and there won’t be a schedule problem. I’m sort of a homebody so I won’t be gone much other than for work I don’t have a fenced yard, at my house but I have 5 acres surrounded by miles of farmland and a playful playmate in Sophie. If staying at your home, I will never be gone for more than 8 hrs at a time. Weekends are usually no issue to schedule around either While staying at your home, I stick to the routine you have developed with your pets to make it as stress-free as possible. I recognize the importance of structure with dogs and cats, and losing that while their humans are away can be a big stressor. I will do my best to act as an extension of you while you are away to ensure the most personalized care.
