I have taken care of many animals for others including elderly dogs that require more attention and effort. About: I grew up taking care of many different kinds of animals on my families farm. I have experience dealing with medical care for dogs as well as larger animals. I started dog sitting in college and I found a great love for providing dogs a loving experience while their families are away. I’ve enjoyed dog sitting more full time for the past 6 years, and I feel confident that I can provide pets a fun experience as well as give owners peace of mind while they’re gone. I am currently working fully remote, so I’ll have ample time to love on your fur baby. I enjoy going for walks and playing with toys in the back yard. I think it’s very important for dogs to get as much exercise as possible/needed. I am comfortable using crates, or whatever method you and your dogs are comfortable. If you and your dog have used shock collars or electric fences I am confident in using both of those methods.

About: I love and have cared for dogs since I was 15, I have patience for any breed and I have open availability. My most recent dog I cared for is a pug. He was a puppy and I trained him how to go on the pee pads and when he got a little older we went for walks. I always go for walks, always make sure the puppy/dog gets enough attention, food and water. I have watched all sizes of breeds from chihuahua to a husky, unfortunately because I just moved into an apartment I could not watch bigger breeds from home but I am always willing to drive to you! About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dog for several years enthusiastically. I’ve always found dogs to be the closest comfort, which is a reason to trust me. I’d take care of your dog like my own, as I hold them mine very close to my heart. I have a part time job working with kids, so I’m very available to book! I’m fully available four days of the week and I always have time to spend with your fur friends before and after work. In my home, I occasionally use a crate for my german shepherd, most of the time he is loose. He’s gotten accustomed to sleeping on my bed or my parent’s bedroom and we feed him early in the morning. Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. Levi has allergies so we make sure to always apply topical remedies and purchase a high quality kind of dog food.

I’m also comfortable being consistent with routines like medication schedules, exercise, and keeping the pet’s environment clean and safe. Overall, I treat pet care like a real responsibility, not something I “fit in” when convenient I structure my time around it to make sure the pet stays comfortable and cared for. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping the pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the instructions exactly as provided feeding schedule, portion sizes, walk times, medication (if any), and any specific behavior or care notes about the pet. For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off. I don’t just “stop by and do tasks” I treat it like I’m temporarily responsible for the pet’s wellbeing and comfort, and I make sure they feel calm and cared for while their owner is away.

I believe that once the pet feels safe with its caretaker, then the environment doesn’t play a huge role.
