“Danny is really kind and says to communicate with. He has walked and cared for our senior pup both last minute and long term. We feel safe having him watching our dog and recommend!”

About: I have been an animal lover and owner since the day I was born. I grew up on a farm so I have cared for all kinds of animals including cats, and the loves of my life, DOGS! I will talk to, feed and pet anything that crosses my path. I promise to love and care for your pet as if they were my own. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to drop in on your baby(ies), take them for walks and/or have them stay in my home while you're away for the day. I live in a very dog and walking friendly neighborhood and have (2) friendly pooches that love to make new friends and invite them to join us on their daily walks.

“Julia is awesome! My super quirky pups trusted her right away and she got lots of kisses from Jack immediately. Already discussed future walks! Thank you, Julia!”

About: So I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs all ranging from bigger dogs like Great Danes to smaller ones like chihuahuas. I’ve also taken care of cats and multiple kittens, and administered medication to cats as well I’m currently working part time at uhaul so I’ll have plenty of time to play and keep your fur babies occupied while you’re away :) In my home I have a fenced yard and my two cats are indoor cats. When I dog sit whether they have fenced yards or not I make sure to keep them occupied and make sure they’re having fun while being safe.

About: I grew up in a house with both cats and dogs where everyone got along great! Once I moved out of the house I adopted my first rescue dog and have had dogs as pets ever since. Currently fostering dogs for Orange County Animal Services and have helped them get several dogs adopted into forever homes. I have regularly helped friends with dogsitting and housesitting while they are away from home, and have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. Currently working part time, from home, so my schedule is very flexible on both weekdays and weekends. Mornings or afternoons I'm available for pet play dates or walking. Trusting our pets with someone else is a big step, so I take their safety and security very seriously. When walking a dog I'm always cautious about traffic, strangers, or other pets that have been let off leash. Building trust with your pet is the best way to keep them safe so they can see you again soon!

About: I am from Oklahoma and I recently moved to Orlando to start a PhD program in Integrative Biology at the University of Central Florida. I just graduated with my BS in Zoology with Honors from Oklahoma State University where I spent lots of time working with students with learning disabilities, working as a student ambassador for the Pre-Preprofessional Health and Law Support Services, and interacted with undergraduate research in a range of contexts. I love animals so much, I decided to make a career out of it! I have my own cat named SodaPop who is my entire world and my partner who is currently on Deployment for the Air Force. I’ve had an exponential amount of animals through fostering. I have worked in a Vet’s office and can care for special needs pets. I was a Kennel technician trained as a Veterinary Technician so I’ve cleaned up and generally cared for animals and moved up to administering medications. I have a reliable vehicle and tons of free time during the weeks that I am not traveling! I am more than willing to be flexible with your needs whether that be dates, specific animal needs, or even pricing. My goal is to make you feel comfortable with your pet in my care! I am a graduate student and a teaching assistant with a mostly open schedule throughout the week. Flexibility is my top priority for both your schedule and my schedule. I am always more than happy to discuss I can best meet your needs! I personally like to treat my pets as family. They sleep with me, sometimes getting my food, and they get to go everywhere with me. Of course, I am more than willing to follow any general rules and routines you have with your pets that may not align with my own. I find that following a normal routine almost always helps reduce anxiety while you are away.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and 24 years ago I had the wonderful privilege of becoming a pet owner myself. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless pets for family and friends while they were away—and I’ve enjoyed every single moment. Today, I have a dog of my own and also care for outdoor cats, so I truly understand how important it is to keep your pets happy, safe, and loved while you’re gone. I originally started Rover with my daughter, a proud UCF graduate, and I’ve loved the experience so much that I’ve continued on my own! Currently, I’m not working a full-time job, which means I have the time and flexibility to give your pets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or snuggles, I’m here to help in any way I can. I look forward to taking care of your furry family members as if they were my own! I will spend the time with your furry loved one and take care of them in anyway you need. I’m very patient with our furry friends. “Andrew was so amazing and caring with my little Flynn! He’s still a puppy so he required lots of patience which Andrew provided! I am so thankful I have someone I can trust to take care of Flynn for me, will be using again in the future! Thanks Andrew!! ?”

About: Growing up with dogs, especially Golden Retrievers, has given me a lifetime of love and experience. My journey began as a kennel tech at a veterinary office, where I learned how to care for dogs with diverse needs, from specialized diets and medication to post-op care and lots of playtime. I even worked as a kennel tech at a doggie daycare in college, picking up countless tips for handling all kinds of personalities. After losing my Golden Retriever, Gonzo—my loyal friend through my teenage years—I chose not to get another dog. But for the past 25 years, I’ve been the go-to caregiver for friends’ dogs, showering them with the same love and attention I would for my own. I bring both experience and a heart full of affection to every pet I care for. I’m currently working part-time, primarily in the evenings and on weekends, which leaves me with plenty of free time to care for your dog. I’m also home every night, so you can rest assured that your pup will have company and attention if they’re boarding with us. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply extra cuddles, I have the flexibility to give your dog the care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I am CPR & First Aid Certified for Dogs & Cats through American Red Cross. Our home is set up with a concrete block fenced backyard with two secure gates, so dogs have a safe space to play. We also have a large pool with a safety fence to ensure that kids and dogs can’t accidentally access it. Our home is completely smoke-free, and we don’t have any other pets, so your dog will be the center of attention. With two adults and one gentle 10-year-old child in the house, your pet will be cared for in a calm, loving environment.

About: I've had pets my whole life, especially dogs who've enjoyed long and happy lives. Right now, I even have a sweet old 14-year-old lab mix. Hey, I'm free right now and happy to help out. Plus, I've got my own ride, so getting to you and your furry friend won't be a problem at all! I get that every pet and their person has their own special way of doing things. Just tell me what your pet needs, and I'll make sure they get exactly the care you want.

“Amanda is incredible! From the initial meet & greet to the final visit, Amanda was friendly, accommodating, communicative, and very professional. Karen R.Star Sitter
“When my daughter was young, we had to keep after her to feed our dog and take care of him. We had a cat who showed up one day and she was our pet for several years, but she ended up with cancer. By this time, my daughter was a teenager and we went together with the cat to the vet. She handled it well as the vet took care of her and it sparked her interest in animal care. After that, she started taking complete care of our dog and ended up working as a kennel tech our veterinarian's office, as well as at an aviary. That's when she decided she wanted to be a veterinarian. She chose not to fulfill her dream of being a vet, but she has always loved and done well with animals. Instead of being a vet, she graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, where she learned about a wide variety of animals and plants. While at UF, she was a kennel tech at a doggie day care. She also frequently volunteered with Operation Catnip to assist with the pre-op and post-op care of stray cats being spayed and neutered. I know she would be a great asset to Rover and I have complete confidence she would be able to handle any situation with the dogs.”

Charles V.
“Charles is the best!I I was very happy to have him walk and look after my little pup. He is a true dog lover and takes amazing care of them. He shows love and care to my pup the way I would. I never worry about Chico when Charles is around. Thank you so much for giving me peace of mind while I'm working. He’s truly a dog’s best friend!!”

Shaleigh R.
“She actually spent time with my senior special needs cat when she dropped in! 😭 Me and my husband cried when we saw the pictures of our baby while we were away. She's experienced and trust worthy and it really shows.”

Heather Z.
“Heather will definitely go above and beyond for any task that is given to her. She is one of the most kind and caring people I have ever met. She is a ride or die kind of woman who will do what it takes to finish a goal. She loves dogs and will definitely make a great sitter and she’s equally an amazing people person who can definitely maintain good relationships with anyone she talks to. I cannot recommend her enough!”
Edgewood dog parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker! Kelsey was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about my dog. Every update came with photos and a thoughtful note, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I’ll definitely be booking with Kelsey again. Highly recommend!

Jamie is a gem. She is very flexible and kind. She dealt with Dusty most of the time via my disabled Mom and handled it all like a pro. Dusty can be very barky especially at first and that didn’t phase Jamie. She even took care of Dusty for 2 extra appointments that weren’t scheduled in advance. I highly recommend Jamie and will use her again when the need arises.

Morgan was incredibly attentive with my dog. She was careful with the instructions I provided and followed the schedule perfectly. Scott loved staying with her and felt very comfortable; he even asked for cuddles and played a lot with her. I highly recommend her to everyone!
