About: Consistency and being on time for anything is very important to me. Any step-by-step instructions that are provided, I will go above and beyond for any pet satisfaction. Communication is a great skill of mine too. My wife and I recently got married last May. We have 4 fur babies that we adore! I've had dogs throughout my whole childhood and cat throughout some of my childhood too. My wife is more of a cat person, but also loves dogs. I know that having pets is expensive these days and finding the time can be hard sometimes. That's why my rates are affordable and I offer FREE bathing/ grooming for cats and dogs! I am currently full time at another job. But I can help in any way I can within the hours of 3:30 pm - 9pm during weekdays. I am available weekends all day! I care for my own pets by feeding them twice a day and train them by getting their energy they need every 2 hours. I bathe my pets at least once a week, if needed. I go by whatever the client instructs me to do and some good considerations, if needed.

“Thank you for watching Miko!”

“Asha was only a couple of days out of surgery and McKenzie listened to all my instructions and took such good care of her.”

About: Details at a glance: - The safety of your pets is of upmost importance to me. - I am a passionate animal lover with over 15 years of experience caring for animals, which has earned me a wealth of knowledge, tips, and tricks. - I have experience with special needs and senior dogs. - I have experience with anxious dogs. - I have experience with escape artists. - I have experience with high energy, small, and large dogs. - I am genuinely dedicated to making your pet’s day. ………………………………………………………. Hello, My name is Ashley :) and I am here on Rover because I recently lost my sweet soul dog, Boston, due to old age, and I would love to work some regular fur-baby time into my days again. This is the first time in my life that I have not had pets, so I have well over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for animals. Since I was a child, I have always gravitated toward animals and have almost preferred to interact with them vs anybody else. I feel most confident with dogs and cats, however, I have also cared for birds, reptiles, and fish. - My strongest skill when it comes to working with animals is my intuition. I feel that I am able to read their energy and behavior in a way that allows me to be present for them in a manner that is completely on their terms. - Experience with high energy and high maintenance dogs: My husky boy, Boston, was a high maintenance dog. He was trouble maker in his younger years, always looking for opportunity to bolt out the front door, squeeze out of his harness, chase neighborhood cats, counter surf… he even tried to sprint up a drainage pipe we came across on one of our walks once, etc etc. He was extremely clever and fast. I quickly had to learn to read his body language in order to anticipate whatever sort of trouble he was about to get us into. From developing this skill, I know that I am great with high energy ages and breeds. - Separation anxiety experience: Boston struggled with separation anxiety for much of his life. In order to help him manage his anxiety, I had to be very mindful about how, where, when, and with whom I left him. I completely understand if your pet has a specific “formula” of needs to be filled in order to be comfortable: toys left out to play with, treats, music, specific lights on or off, etc. I feel completely confident that I can follow and execute any instructions regarding anxiety management, as well as other areas of consideration regarding your preferences. - Senior dog experience: As Boston aged into his final years, he became disabled due to arthritis and needed even more specialized care, which fluctuated day to day based on what he was feeling up for. I am very good at reading an animal’s “vibe” and adjusting my care to their needs (with your instruction or approval, of course, because parents know best). - Experience with cats: I also have a fair amount of experience with cats, whether they are the type who want to be loved on or left alone. I’m able to hang out for a while to play and keep them company, or to be as minimally disruptive as possible if they are too anxious to interact. Thank you so much for your consideration. I know that it takes a lot of trust to leave your pet(s) with a new person. If you have any questions that you would like to ask me, or if would like to discuss your pets needs, please do not hesitate to contact me. If anyone deserves all of the love, compassion, and care in the world, it is our pets. - Ashley I currently work as a manager at a local restaurant 4 days per week. I am also an artist and am able to make my own schedule regarding that. My availability and flexibility allow me plenty of time to give individualized care to your pet(s). I am available for walks and drop-in visits: (*indicates drop-in only) Mondays: 9 am to 11 pm Tuesdays: 10 am to 2 pm ; *10:30-11 pm Wednesdays: 9 am to 12 pm Thursdays: 9 am to 2 pm ; *10:30-11 pm Fridays: 9 am to 2 pm ; *10:30-11 pm Saturdays: 9 am to 2 pm ; *10:30-11 pm Sundays: 9 am to 11 pm I am extremely detail oriented and precise when instructions are given. I also know that it takes time and effort to bond with any animal. I have no doubt that I will be able to put the same heart into caring for your pet(s) as I would my own.

“Jill was wonderful and great with the care for my pets as well as communicating with me everyday while I was away. This communication is very important to me because it relieves my stress which is important to me because the trip I had to take was already stressful. So I appreciate her so much for caring for my pets and doing the communication about how well everything back at home was going. Thank you Jill.”

About: Hi there! We are Karina and Troy and we would love to give your dog(s) a happy and safe home if you ever need a helping hand! We both work full-time from our home office so we are home all the time (and would be able to 100% home sit), and able to do frequent walks and potty breaks as needed. I (Karina) grew up with 3 dogs, one of which I solely looked after for 14 years. Troy has always had dogs in his life growing up and has always been a go-to dog sitter for friends and family. We have a wonderful pit-lab mix, Harlem, who we love going hiking and running with. Harlem also loves having other furry friends around - he is incredibly friendly, respectful, and loving. We have a spacious house with trails right outside our front door and a dog park 2 minutes away, so we have ample access to dog exercise, fun, and socializing! For doggie daily exercise, we love taking walks, running, or going hiking, but equally as happy just having playtime at or around our home, if that’s what your dog prefers! We love dogs of all kinds, all ages, and all breeds, and always treat all dogs with kindness, lots of playtime, cuddles, and yummy treats! Consider our home a home-away-from-home and us as an extended family for your precious pups! We both work full-time from home with frequent opportunities for breaks, snacks/meals and walks outside. We encourage our dogs to be around us while we work so we can keep an eye on them. We have a fenced yard and a really friendly dog that can keep your pup company. We do frequent walks in our neighborhood (we live on a dead-end culdasac street, so cars rarely pass through).

20. Karina & Troy S.
“During June of last summer I took my family to the Maui islands for my son's birthday and couldn't bring our dog with us. He's an Alaskan Klee Kai and gets pretty anxious about not us not being around. Nonetheless, we dropped him off at Karina's as she was so kind to offer to take care of him for the two weeks we were away. I personally was worried that with us not being there, his whining would be a huge annoyance to Karina, and for her neighbors for that matter! However, after the two weeks we were away, we came back and found that not only did he not whine the entire time we were gone, Karina also had taught him not to beg at the table. If that isn't a sign that Karina is a good care taker of dogs, I don't know what is. She is in my opinion the closest thing to a dog whisperer that I know.”
