“Maci exceeded expectations. We were traveling, so there were a lot of logistical requirements to make our walks happen, but Maci was unflappable. She showed up consistently, with courtesy and confidence and managed some frustrating behavior my pooch exhibited with grace. She recognized that Juno was upset by our absence, and gave her the time and space to get comfortable. I will definitely be calling on Maci again!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets ever since I could remember—from puppies and kittens to senior pets with special needs. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve looked after dogs, cats, and everything in between. I genuinely love animals and always treat them with the same care and attention I’d give my own. I’m gentle, reliable, and focused on making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved—whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or just being there for comfort and companionship. I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule, so we will work out what is most convenient for your schedule and availability! I care for pets in their own homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I always follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet gets the attention, care, and routine they’re used to. I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping things clean, calm, and secure.
About: I have had much experience working with and caring for animals nearly all my life as I grew up on a mini pet farm beginning at a young age. I’ve taken care of all sizes of dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and fish. My care included walking, feeding, watering, grooming, cleaning, and loving them. I love doing these things so much and always make sure animals and pets are safe and loved. I am currently a college student and working part-time on campus as well. I will try to accommodate my schedule for working with others as best I can but usually early mornings and evenings work best for me as that is when I’m least busy. However, like I said, I will do what I can to make it work with others schedules. I will do whatever I can to be flexible with working in others homes to take care of their pet and animal needs. Feel free to message me with any questions or comments!
About: I have had dogs all my life, most of which were rescued. I also took a class from victoria stillwell on her website designed to teach you how to understand your dog. I adore all dogs and love to learn their different personalities. I never back away from a challenging behavior because I know alot of dogs have experienced trauma just like alot of people. I work full and my schedule can change week to week but my boss try's to keep it consistent. I typically work 7-6 monday through Wednesday 8-4 on Friday's. Anytime this changes I will immediately contact you and work something else out if it conflicts with specific requested times (such as dog walking). I walk my husky each morning before work regardless of what time I go in so you can be sure I will MAKE the time if I have to. :) I will follow any and all rules/schedules you have for your dog. I will also assist with training if asked. If I am house sitting I will do my utmost to keep the house and its schedule the same as you do when you are home. I am happy to train, play, or just hang out with your doggy pal.
“Hannah was great! She was friendly and reliable, my dog loves her! She came every weekday for 3 weeks and he looked forward to her daily visits! She was always on time and we have already booked some more play dates!”

I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. I’m currently working around 30 hours a week. I work right down town in Saint Joesph Michigan. About: Hello, I'm a big animal lover. Life is always better with furry friends! I have pretty much always had a dog most of my life & always consider them family. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. I would love to provide a safe and comfortable care for your pet while you are away. I used to have birds, cats, fish, been around reptiles & snakes, turtles, I worked at an eagle rapture center in Alaska which is where I'm from. I have a strong belief to only work in something you love so here I am. :-) Your pet will receive the same love & attention as if they were my own & provide plenty of pictures. Before I became a provider for Rover I used the service a few times myself & was very appreciative when I was given daily updates & pictures & want to provide the same for others. It truly meant a lot to me to get that so I know the importance. -Reliable, Safe, Comfortable w/ all animals -Wellness checks -Doggie daycare in your home-Rover doesn't allow me to add this feature/pricing-please ask for free quote -Pet Sitting -Pet Grooming -Walking/Running/Playtime -Pickup/Drop Off for Appointments -Training -Overnight care -Reiki/Massage for pets -I'm more than happy to help w/ some extra house cleaning (additional) so don't be afraid to ask. Have a lot of flexibility currently so grab your spot I usually book fast between pet care services, house cleaning, care giving job, & wtvr else I decide to dabble in. Customized services to your fur babies needs. Each pet is unique & each visit is different & I'll work with you the best I can.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—no pup too big or small! I’ve also walked cats, administered meds, brushed teeth, and provided loving care for seniors. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping your pet company, I’m experienced and happy to help. My fenced yard offers safe outdoor time, and I treat every animal like family. I currently have full availability and offer flexible, reliable care for your pets! I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, walks, daycare, and more—even same-day appointments. I do have little ones at home, so we may step out briefly for park outings, but never for long. Your pet will still get plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is dog/cat - friendly, with a securely fenced yard, located on a quiet, low-traffic street. I clean with pet-safe products to ensure a healthy environment. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with the same respect and care as I do my own. You can rest easy knowing your pet is in safe, loving hands.
“Good communication and quick to respond! I didn’t have a chance to see her interact with my dog, but it seems like she did everything that was requested and was careful with him.”

“Another review bc Gina is amazing! Recently Mikey stayed with her for a few days and today she was willing to walk him for me super last minute! She sent so many pictures and updates while I was gone for 3 days and Mikey had SO much fun playing with her dog and her friends dog and he got a nice long walk in today as I was working all day. I love booking with her and will any chance I get!”

I and also am open to plant care and other household needs. Currently I work as a server, but am looking for other gigs to fill in my summer. I have a varying schedule, but for the most part I can be very attentive. I am very sure to be respectful of others environments! About: I’ve raised dogs, cats & goats since I was old enough to hold a leash! From bottle feeding kittens to training goats to do tricks, dogs feel like a breeze. For the last 6 years, I’ve taken care of family & friend’s dogs. My husband & I have a 80lb golden doodle (who is transitioning into his elder stage of life) so I understand the importance of daily walks, play dates, and proper grooming. I vow to apply the same care for your pet! I’m currently a server, so I work less than 30 hours a week & mainly evenings! This leaves me plenty of time to pet-sit or walk during the day, especially on my days off. I have a fenced in back yard, a park within a 3 minute walking distance, and an incredibly friendly golden doodle. He loves to play fetch and tug. We take our dog on daily walks, weekly baths, and administer the proper vitamins and ear care as he transitions into being an elder dog. It’s important that I translate these same practices to clients animals!

“Alicia was very good. I have never had somebody walk Gunther before. After meetiing her and hearing her experience with animal, I was confident she would be comfortable with Gunther. I have a 75lb mix 50% Boxer and 50% German Shepherd could be a challenge. I was very pleased with her knowledge and experience. I recommend her at the highest level for her services.”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Eau Claire. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
