“Jenna was the perfect choice to dog sit our three dogs. On a scale from 0 to 100 I’d give Jenna 200%. Everything she did was above and beyond. She sent pictures daily of their progress. She was absolutely the best dog sitter we have ever hired. We will definitely be hiring her again! Thank you Jenna for taking such good care of Brooklyn, Carly and Gracy ann.”

“This was a repeat booking for Ross and our dogs. We are always able to enjoy a vacation whether it’s short or long because we know our dogs are in good hands. Great communication and always leaves the house how we left it!”

“Kaitlyn did an absolutely amazing job. I would go as far as saying above and beyond. I think our house is actually cleaner than when we left it lol! She is very communicative, responsive, sends updates, professional, and an animal whisperer. One of our cats eats for NO ONE but us, and on the first night Kaitlyn was able to get him to eat. She also came over for a meet and greet so the cats would be more familiar with her which was great. 10/10 would give more stars if I could and will for sure be using her services again in the future!”

“Janae did a great job with our pups. She was communicative and easy to work with. We received numerous pictures and updates throughout the day. I would highly recommend her in the future.”

“I highly recommend Emmelea! This was our first time using her for an overnight stay, and she exceeded all expectations. Her communication was top-notch; we received regular updates and so many cute pictures that showed how happy and well-cared-for our pup was. She truly treated him like her own. We feel so lucky to have found her and will 100% book with her again!”

“Shelbee is incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding of our pets specific routine and needs. Provided regular photo updates to show us how comfortable our pets became around her. We returned to a happy, stress-free animal. We are so grateful and will definitely rebook!”

“Annie, was attentive, and caring with my dog while I was gone. Additionally, I appreciate that she was responsive and kept me updated. I would highly recommend Annie to anyone and everyone!”

“Lauren was fantastic and so sweet! She was super communicative, asked great questions and truly made me feel so at peace knowing how well she was taking care of Pixie. Looking forward to using Lauren again for our future doggie and house sitting needs!”

“Joanna is amazing! I have two rescues and they are not great with strangers. She was patient and kind and both dogs were fine within a few hours . She sent texts and pictures several times a day to keep me updated. I would highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again!”

“Haley did a wonderful job caring for my dog! She was professional, dependable, and attentive. I felt confident that my dog was in great hands and would gladly book with Haley again.”

“James was great. Took good care of my house and dogs. Was very good on communication. My house and dogs were in great shape when I returned, like I had never left. I will be (and already have) be booking with James again.”

“Second time leaving the pup with Kristi's care and she did wonderful. House was in same or better shape then when I left and the dog seemed happy and relaxed when I returned. She has great communications and when an issues came up she was informative and we provided the solution and she gave the meds as directed. Will definitely trust her again with our dog in the near future.”

“Jena is the best. She sat with my fur babies for a couple of days and they loved her. Maddie doesn't warm up to ppl but she did with her. She will be my go to whenever I go out of town.”

“Amber is wonderful. She did a great job watching Tux. He was happy and healthy when we returned home from our trip. She sent photo updates of him, which was great! We so appreciate her taking such good care of him for us. Thanks Amber!!”

“Andrea was absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t ask for a better person to watch over my precious baby… And she did this with little notice so if you’re looking for someone amazing , flexible please reach out to Andrea for any pet needs… Sugar and I thank you and appreciate you so much… We will use you again”

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was young. Looking forward to taking care of your fur babies as if they were mine I recently lost my pets and the apartment I live in doesn't allow pets so I look forward to loving your fur babies as if they were my own I'm pretty flexible at dealing with animals I used to have a Australian shepherd and a Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix and two cats so I'm used to taking care of a lot of babies
“We haven’t boarded our pooch for many years as we always take her on vacation with us. We needed to fly out for a week’s vacation and were not comfy having her isolated in one room at a boarding facility. I was very nervous having a house/dog sitter, but Jennifer eased our minds as soon as we (and Bailey) met her. She sent us pics and status updates daily as soon as she arrived at our home and was always quick to respond to questions I had throughout the process. Our dog is older and requires lots of supplements/medications. Jennifer not only provided the absolute best care for Bailey, our house was immaculate when we returned home. Bailey was happy to see us return, but she was not stressed/panicked at all, which showed us how relaxed Jennifer made her feel. Jennifer is a true professional - we will definitely utilize her services again now that we know Bailey adores her!”

Janae is incredible! We travel on a whim and Janae was incredibly flexible. I didn't have to worry about our doggos being well taken care of. She sent pictures and updates that set my mind at ease- even in a new town with high maintenance dogs- lol! For reference we have a 120 lbs sheepadoodle and an 85 lbs goldendoodle rescue (resource guarder - hates other dogs). Our HOA has a lot of rules and Janae was meticulous about following the rules and took great care of our home on overnights. We definitely recommend!

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. From the moment we left, we knew our dogs were in exceptional hands. She was incredibly attentive to each dog’s individual needs, kept them active with plenty of walks, playtime, and enrichment. Communication was outstanding throughout our time away. We received frequent updates, photos, and videos that gave us complete peace of mind and let us see just how happy and comfortable our dogs were. It was obvious she genuinely cared about them. Her professionalism, kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals truly set her apart! We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone they can trust completely with their pets.

Dan was a dream come true as a house/pet sitter. She watched Lily (old lady german shepherd), Annie (hyper cattle-dog mut) and Kevin and Clarence (kitties). I got tons of awesome photos and videos, they took Annie to see christmas lights and to the beach, they were incredibly well taken care of. I've never been so relaxed while leaving my pets at home. And the house was spitelss when I got home too!! I'm super grateful and will 100% go with Dan again! I really could not be happier!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eastwood walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eastwood maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eastwood choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
