About: Hello there! My name is Soila, pronounced soy-lah, and I successfully trained my childhood dog (a German Shepherd) way back when I was in elementary school! I’ve had chickens practically my entire life, since I can remember, and I’ve also had bunnies in the past. Although I do not have much experience with other doggies, I am working to change that. I do currently have one fur baby of my own, a cute calico kitty. 🐱 I recently graduated from High School so I have plenty of time to care after your fur babies. I do have to drop off and pick up my mother to and from work, but aside from that I am dedicated to you. When on walks, I take safety very seriously. I tend to avoid other people and dogs altogether, and as self defense to ensure safety I carry legally purchased pepper spray. I rather be safe than sorry if there were to be any sort of incident. As for cats I will be sure that they stay indoors at all times, unless instructed differently/if you have a catio.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs, especially Labradors. Since the age of three, I've cared for these wonderful companions and currently help look after my 13-year-old Lab with arthritis. My experience includes fostering and training puppies, and I successfully rehabilitated a 2-year-old foster dog who was too afraid to walk when he came to me - I trained him, loved him and he was eventually adopted into a loving family. I have also worked at a doggy daycare, which has given me additional hands-on experience with various breeds and temperaments. As a lawyer, I bring trustworthiness, reliability, and accountability to my pet-sitting services. Additionally, having grown up in NYC and owning a house on Long Island, I can provide a comfortable and safe environment for your pets, whether they need care in the city or a relaxing getaway on Long Island. I work from home and am currently living at my house in the Hamptons. Can care for pets all day/night and live a very quiet life! I have an apartment in the city with plenty of room - dogs do not have to be crated. I also have a house in Long Island that I can bring the pets to.

About: A lifetime of pet ownership has taught me patience, empathy and habit as well as having a special connection with animals. I'll do what is needed to keep your animal(s) healthy and happy through kindness and playtime! I am available anytime from 1-5, with plenty more hours coming soon, as I am leaving a job. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! All pets are let out upon request and kept under a close watch. If the dog does not wish to go out but needs it, they are offered a (small) treat to motivate them.

About: I have an elderly dog at home who requires a lot of care so I know exactly what it takes to care for elderly animals. I have taken care of young dogs in training that require a lot of attention. I have also been a house/dog sitter for multiple pets at a time including cats and dogs. I work part time so I have plenty of days where I have a lot of free time. My school is online and self paced so during college months I can still be flexible. I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Feeding, walking, playtime, and any medication schedules. I make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and have plenty of attention and affection. I keep the home clean, lock up securely, and send regular updates so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

“Ariana is a lovely person who my 2 dogs loved! She was on time and spent time with the dogs playing. It was the first time I ever went away overnight without the dogs and I was totally comfortable because I received updates and photos. Great dog sitter, great service thank you.”

About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am a dog trainer living in Eastport and am available for drop ins, shorter walks, and daycare, but my real specialty is long walks (1+ hours)! Long dog walks offer incredible benefits for dogs - providing physical exercise that helps maintain a healthy weight, improving cardiovascular health, and preventing destructive behaviors caused by pent-up energy. Beyond the physical, it also engages their minds through new sights, smells, and sounds, keeping them mentally stimulated. I know from my own experience of working long hours (even from home) that it's just not always feasible to give your dog the kind of stimulation they really crave - and that's what I'm here for! Beyond being a dog mom to my own 9 year havapoo, I am a trainer, volunteer at a local shelter and work at a doggy daycare as well. I'm new to Rover after a very short stint when I was living in NYC, but eager to get started and expand my network of pets :). Let's chat more about your needs and how I can help your pup! Cheers, Ashley I work part time as a trainer / at a doggy daycare, so I have pretty flexible availability during the day Monday - Thursday as I primarily work evenings. Dogs will always be on leash for walks, and never out of my sight. We have a fenced yard for dogs coming over for day care.

About: I have a dog sat for multiple people for the past 5 years. And I have my own adorable dog that I take care of every day. I will make sure that your pets will be safe and happy. You will have no need to worry. Your pets will be in great hands I am going to college part time. So I am available , Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day anytime. And for Monday and Wednesday , I can work anytime starting at 12pm - 10pm . I have a 14-year-old dachshund at home and she doesn’t really run around anymore. We mostly just cuddle together and I take care of her.. but when she was younger, and for most dogs that I take care of we run around, we play fetch. I really strive to make sure the pets that I am with are always happy and satisfied.

Let me help you give your loved ones the best day. With exercise, discipline and affection. The love language of most animals. I hike with my dog on a daily basis and look forward to treating your baby with the same care and compassion that I treat my own pets. Whether it be in your own for an overnight stay or a brisk walk while you are away. I will always be there to make your pets my responsibility.

Jerol & Jeffrey B.

“We use Jerol & Jeffrey for drop-in visits and Jerol has taken great care of our pup. He is reliable and makes sure she is happy and gets plenty of exercise. He is also very knowledgeable and experienced and we know she is in great hands when he’s caring for her. We highly recommend!”

Norah R.
“I met Norah about 15 years ago, when we both started volunteering at the local animal shelter cattery. I was impressed with how she interacted with even the most aloof and frightened cats. We became friends, and she has been pet sitting all of my cats for the last 15 years whenever I travel. She is dependable, reliable and trustworthy. I never worry about them when I am away, since I know Norah will take excellent care of them. I do not own a dog, but I have seen how wonderful she is with dogs. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter or dogwalker. She is the best.”

Monika O.
“On quite a few occasions Monika has cared for our lovely dog Piper. Prior to discovering Monika, it was difficult to find someone to care for Piper because of her insecurities of being on a leash. After her first introduction to Piper, Monika had alleviated most of Pipers stress of walking on leash. Piper still has issues with others while on leash, but with Monika she is great. I would highly recommend Monika for her care, compassion, and overall concern for the care of our pet.”

Paula G.

“Paula was amazing. She interacted great with my dog making me feel comfortable to leave her for a weekend. I will be using her services more in the future”

Emily F.
“Emily was solely responsible for watching and walking my dog Ivy during multiple vacations. Ivy hates being separated from myself and her family, but Emily made her feel safe and comfortable every time we were away. She would even send picture updates when she was out walking her or playing with her.”

Brianna B.

“Brianna has been great with our puppy OSIRIS. So happy we booked with her. We will definitely be reaching out to her again!! Thank you and we appreciate you.”

Emily T.
“We left for a whole week and Emily updated us everyday beyond what she had to. She's really nice and we feel very comfortable with her.”

James N.
“I adopted a puppy and also worked full time. Of course a puppy needs more attention than you can give and work full time. James was able to help me with my puppy. He would come to my house and let her out and clean up any mess she might have made. He played with her helping to socialize her with people other than myself. I felt at ease knowing she would be well taken care of and safe. I have also seen James with his own dog who he doted on and took great care of. He is a true animal lover who genuinely cares about the animals entrusted in his care.”

Kristin V.
“Kristin has walked my dogs plenty of times I couldn't be happier! She was punctual, friendly, and communicated very well throughout the entire process. My dogs, Lola and Wesley, absolutely loved her and came back from each walk happy and tired. Kristin also sent me updates and photos, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

Tania L.

“I used Tania yesterday for a drop in visit to let the dogs out and feed them because we were going to be gone a long time. She followed my directions beautifully with never meeting us. I would definitely use her again!!”

Soila L.
“Hello! Soila has taken care of my calico cat Conchita. Chita for short, Soila is so nice and attentive to Chita I would recommend her for any pet care needs and I can vouch for her sincerity!”

Cynthia A.
“Cindy loves dogs and is very responsible. She is completely reliable, resourceful and experienced. Any family would be lucky to have her as a babysitter.”

Jess-Michael M.
“Jess-Michael is the best pet caregiver out there! They were responsible with walking my French Bulldog Butchie multiple times a week, as well as caring and loving Butchie like he was their own! My pets happiness greatly increased since Jess-Michael started taking care of him! They are responsible, reliable, and all over accommodating to all of my pet’s needs. I would greatly recommend them to take care of your fur babies too!”

Ryan M.
“Hi, my name is Margaret and I've known Ryan since he was 14; a bright, enthusiastic teenager whose love of all animals was apparent from the start. Ryan was the kind of young man that took his love to another level working in pet stores , learning and gaining an understanding of a variety of animals, cats, dogs, birds, fish, ferrets, rodents, and reptiles and he immersed himself in providing the best care for his own personal pets, as well as any under his care at work and also for my own two beloved kitties, who Ryan has known since they were tiny kittens. They adore him and are always so happy to see him after all these years. Ryan is now an amazing man, responsible and reliable, caring and loving, someone your pets will love from the start. He "gets" them and they know this. He has educated himself in dog training which makes him an excellent caregiver for dogs who might require strength and confidence as well as discipline with lots of love!! I can't recommend him enough . . . He has extensive experience, is very personable and professional. Your pets will come first while in his care.”
