I will give them all the love and attention to help them pass the time until you’re home. I am currently working part time so I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule. Part time also allows me to provide care on days that I am working. Any rules or boundaries set by you will be honored. I work full time, five days a week, as an opener at The Mellow Mutt, with typical 6-hour shifts. I usually work Wednesday afternoons and most of the day Sunday, and my only consistent day off is Saturday, making me available for extended stays and attentive overnight care. While staying in your home, I focus on keeping your dog’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I stick closely to their feeding, walking, and play schedules, and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I’m very attentive to their behavior and comfort, so I can quickly adjust to their needs and help them feel safe while you’re away. I also keep your home clean and respected, and I’m happy to provide updates so you can feel at ease knowing your dog is well cared for.

“The fact the our cat Chloe came out of hiding when Samantha, a new person to Chloe, came by to take care of her and feed her says a lot! Samantha kept us up to date as well with pictures during her half hour visits. It helped also that Samantha was able to come by twice to meet Chloe before the weekend when we would be gone. About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! I'm currently unemployed and my husband is a stay at home dad so my schedule is pretty open and flexible to be able to care for some furry friends! About: I’ve been taking care of all different types of animals from lizards to ferrets to turtles and, of course cats and dogs since before I can remember! All of my life I’ve had and taken care of happy and healthy fur babies of my own that I treat with the utmost love, care, and attention so I’ll definitely treat your fur baby like my own as they should be treated. I’m currently a stay at home mom and I go to school online but outside of that I love taking care of my fur babies and other fur babies as well and have free time and availability to do so! My routine consists of starting the day at 7/8am and taking pup for walks, swimming, the dog park etc. and if you choose me for your pet sitter your baby (unless different needs must be met) will accompany us for a fun-filled day!🥰 I can do all day sits or overnight stays at your home. Or if you prefer me to do drop-ins to your home id be more than happy too! Whatever makes you and your precious fur baby happy.:) Note: I do have a 3.5 year old who usually accompanies me with my regular clients. If you choose me as your sitter this is good to note because I will only be able to be solo on some weekends. She has been around multiple different types of animals big and small since she was born. She is good with being gentle and knowing her boundaries but I recognize she’s still young so I can assure you constant supervision will be had for the safety of your fur baby and my baby. At my home, I also have a boxer who loves small dogs as well! They will be in great company. At your home, I will provide your pet and home with the utmost love and care. I will also be sure to provide you consistent updates to keep your mind at ease because I know how worrisome it could be leaving your fur babies behind and you want to be sure they are being taken care of.
