“We had the pleasure of having Kristin watch our two dogs for the first time, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience!! We were a bit nervous leaving them for the first time, but she made it so easy and reassuring. From the thoughtful updates and pictures, to the way she made our dogs feel comfortable and cared for, we could tell she genuinely loves animals. It was such a relief to know they were in good hands! We came back to happy pups! We’ll definitely be booking again in the future. We highly recommend!!”

“Kristin was wonderful with our dog, Houston! He was a shy and nervous dog but settled in so well! We were surprised by how comfortable he was in her home. She sent videos and pictures daily and it made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing that he was in great hands! Thank you again!”

“I am thankful for Jessica taking care of my dog last minute. She was very flexible and reasonable as I had a las minute situation. My dog came back happy and smelling wonderful. I am definitely coming back as she is such a professional and truly loves to take care of dogs just as her own. Jessica and her wonderful family have an amazing property where the dogs can run and play. Feel free to book with her and your furry friend will find a second home. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Mallory and Jim are the best and this was definitely Titan’s favorite stay! They updated us throughout each day and made us feel so comfortable leaving him for a few days. They have a great set up at their house with their fenced in back yard and they also took him on walks. They are also so confident at managing multiple dogs which was impressive! Thank you for making Titan feel right at home. He was so happy and tired! A success indeed!”

“Katie is a friendly person. She likes dogs. We boarded our 5 months puppy with her, and it looks like she took good care of our dog. We shall board our dog with her again, and we recommend her to other guests.”

“Brittany was so great! She sent lots of photos of all the fun our dogs were having, keeping my mind at ease. She walked the dogs and made sure they had plenty of exercise, and from the looks of it- a ton of fun. Absolutely phenomenal!”

“Phenomenal care! Amber is a wonderful sitter, very caring, kind, empathetic and truly loves dogs. My Dante got a lot of love and attention. Amber communicated well, plenty of updates, pictures and videos. Best care for your furry kiddo! Highly recommend Amber as your sitter.”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for Lindsay’s incredible care for my pet! From the moment I booked her on Rover, she proved to be an exceptionally responsible and compassionate caregiver. My senior dog has always been a bit anxious, but Lindsay’s calm and understanding demeanor helped him feel at ease. She went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and stress-free, showing genuine love and patience throughout. Lindsay kept me updated regularly with messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away.”

“Dani is great with dogs. Our dog Hart spent the week there while we were on vacation. We got pictures and updates every day and he enjoyed his time there. Dani is conveniently located for us and very kind. Your dog will be in great hands!”

“Sandra was very accommodating and welcoming. This was our first experience with having someone other than family care for Chase. He seemed at ease and well cared for. We will definitely rebook with Sandra and cannot thank her enough for making this process easy.”

“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. He enjoyed walks with Samantha and has a new friend, her dog Mac and got to enjoy playing with him. We were updated daily and I had no worries @ all while we were away. We will definitely use her again!”

“Austin was fantastic about communicating both before and during our dog’s stay. He was great with her medications and making sure she was taken care of so we didn’t have to worry about her. She was one of the family while she was there. She’ll definitely be back”

“I can’t say enough good things about Chelsea K! She took amazing care of my dog, Dexter, and went above and beyond in every way. Her home was spotless and provided such a clean, comfortable environment that immediately put me at ease. Chelsea’s attention to detail was incredible—she followed all of Dexter’s routines perfectly and made sure he felt right at home. What really stood out to me was her patience and genuine care. Dexter can be a little shy at first, but Chelsea took the time to help him feel comfortable and safe, which I truly appreciated. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own in a clean, welcoming space, Chelsea is the one to book!”

“I was nervous to have someone I’ve never met before watch my dogs but Madison has been excellent! The dogs really enjoy her coming to let them out and play. One of my dogs is on a medication and she was very thorough with giving it to him. She takes a ton of silly photos of them & even brings in packages that were left outside for us. I’m so glad we found her!”

“We had the absolute best experience with Ashley! Not only was she incredibly sweet and attentive with our cat, but she went above and beyond in every way. She even taught our kitty a cute little trick which we’re still amazed by and made sure our home was tidy, taking out the trash without us even asking. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our cat was not only well cared for but truly loved while we were away. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals!”

“Cailey took care of my senior cat for an extended time and took great care of her. Cailey kept me updated on how my cat was doing, including for a period of time where my cat wasn’t eating as much. My cat will do this on occasion so I wasn’t concerned, and appreciated Cailey noticing and checking in with me about that. I would absolutely work with Cailey again, thank you!”

“Mariah was great with our pups!! She was willing to come out prior to booking to meet the dogs and ensure they were comfortable. She communicated great, and was flexible with her schedule. Our pups enjoyed spending time with her!!”

“The fact the our cat Chloe came out of hiding when Samantha, a new person to Chloe, came by to take care of her and feed her says a lot! Samantha kept us up to date as well with pictures during her half hour visits. It helped also that Samantha was able to come by twice to meet Chloe before the weekend when we would be gone. We were very happy with Samantha and look forward to hiring her again in the near future.”

“Morgan did a great job stopping in and caring for both my dog and cat! She was very communicative before and during the visit, letting me know my animals were being well cared for. I definitely recommend her and will work with her again if the opportunity arises! Thank you Morgan!”

About: I have over 2 years of dog sitting experience and currently work full time at a doggy daycare, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m experienced with feeding routines, exercise, and group play, and I’m attentive to each dog’s behavior to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I work full time, five days a week, as an opener at The Mellow Mutt, with typical 6-hour shifts. My schedule can occasionally shift, so a bit of flexibility is helpful, but I do my best to keep things consistent for pet owners. I’m also a full-time online student at SNHU, which allows me to stay flexible and available for house sitting needs. I usually work Wednesday afternoons and most of the day Sunday, and my only consistent day off is Saturday, making me available for extended stays and attentive overnight care. While staying in your home, I focus on keeping your dog’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I stick closely to their feeding, walking, and play schedules, and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I’m very attentive to their behavior and comfort, so I can quickly adjust to their needs and help them feel safe while you’re away. I also keep your home clean and respected, and I’m happy to provide updates so you can feel at ease knowing your dog is well cared for.

“Chelsea was amazing! I was honestly skeptical of the app and process. As i'm sure any pet parent can be but she made the process nice and easy. Her daily updates were so lovely, thoughfully written and such cute pics. I would choose to have Chelsea again anytime we go away. Anyone who's on the fence just go for it. Chelsea is great and will care for your pets as if they were her own.”

About: If I spot a cat, chances are I'm heading over to say hello! Cats have always held a special place in my heart, and I absolutely adore spending time with them. I've been caring for cats for many years, including my own as well as the cats of friends, family members, and coworkers. Whether they're playful, chatty, shy, or happiest curled up in a sunny spot, I love getting to know them and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm also a proud cat parent to a sweet kitty with asthma, so I understand how important it is to pay attention to a cat's individual needs and provide extra care when needed. Caring for him has taught me patience, attentiveness, and just how much trust our feline friends place in us. From playtime and treats to quiet cuddles and companionship, I'll care for your cat as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for while you're away! I would be sure to send you plenty of updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. 🐾💕

About: I bring a quiet, steady presence into every visit. Cats are highly sensitive to energy and routine, so I move slowly, speak softly, and allow them to approach on their own terms. I focus on maintaining their normal schedule and creating a peaceful environment where they feel safe and undisturbed. My goal is for your cat to remain relaxed and comfortable while you’re away, with care that feels consistent and respectful.

If boarding, I have about 1.5 acres of land they can explore or a 30 foot fenced in area in the back. I have a friendly dog who’s about a year old, and a fenced in area. Were ready for whatever your dog may need and more!

“Thomas was great! He took care of my two dogs when I was away, which wasn’t that easy since one of them has kidney disease and need subcutaneous fluids everyday. Will book again in the future!”
“My husband and I were able to go away for the weekend with extreme confidence that Patches would be well-cared-for. Jessica and Alex were warm and friendly and we could see that Patches liked them very much. We loved the photos and the map showing his walks. “Zulma was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to allow Russell to get acquainted with his surroundings and safely meet her dog, Luna, who was a great teacher and playmate for him. We were so impressed by her understanding of dog behavior and especially her insight into Russell’s behavior and skin condition. We feel very comfortable and confident leaving Russell in her care, and we would highly recommend her!”

“As a newcomer to Connecticut, I needed a dog sitter on short notice and was initially anxious about leaving my dog, Gingi. However, Jessica exceeded all my expectations. She demonstrated exceptional professionalism and kindness, providing regular updates without any prompting. Receiving photos of Gingi during my lunch breaks reassured me that he was well cared for and enjoying himself. Additionally, Gingi always smelled wonderful when I picked him up. I will definitely continue to book with her in the future. Highly recommended—10/10”

About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.
“My dog loved it with them. With a new puppy I felt comfortable leaving her with them, and the did a great job with her. Loved the updates throughout the day. Will use them again as I feel safe leaving my puppy with them”

“First off, Taelor was great with my puppy, chowder. I got pictures and videos of her stay 🫶 Taelor was super understanding when my work meeting changed times, and I had to drop chowder off a little later. Piglet (her lab mix) was super friendly and gentle with Chowder (a small, 5month Boston terrier). They had a blast and I can’t recommend her more!”

About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: Hi everyone! I am an animal fanatic (dogs>people) with an energetic and outgoing personality. I strive to provide the best possible care and have no problem with special requests or schedules! I'll run, walk, play, throw to your dogs content and my own. I've been caring for animals big and small since I was a wee kiddo, have vet experience inherited from my dad who owns his own practice, and overall a soft spot for all things furry. I have a cattle dog mix pupper who is a social butterfly and a bengal that acts more like a dog than a cat. He gets along GREAT with all animals he's been introduced to, just check out the photos! Put yourself at ease knowing that your pooch will be properly attended to at your own convenience! I am currently working part time as a nanny and am looking to expand my passion for animals into a full time career. I previously ran a small dog walking business in Boston and am hoping to do the same here in my home state of CT! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to play with! If your dog is not friendly with others I do have a separate space for my pups if needed.
About: I’ve cared for pets, my own, and also those of friends and relatives, for several years. I have a large fenced in yard and my own playful pup to entertain your dog throughout the day. I am working full-time from home but have a beautiful fenced in yard for your dogs to play in and I’m able to take frequent breaks throughout the day to play alongside them. I have my own playful pup to keep your fur baby company throughout the day. Whether it is romping around with my dog, lying in the sun or relaxing in the shade, your dog is sure to be in good hands.
About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! From hamsters to horses - I’ve cared for nearly any animal you can think of. I attended Norfolk Aggie, majoring in Animal Science. Since then, I’ve worked as a vet tech, grooming assistant, assistant trainer, and in multiple barns and kennels. Aside from caring for pets, I currently work from home on my fiancé and I’s business, and do freelance photography (always happy to get some cute pics!) Training is a massive aspect of pet care. It’s important to have a sitter that understands your goals, reinforces correct behaviors, and constantly works to improve. Aside from training, having expertise in many areas of pet care, along with having experience with many different species, breeds, and personality types allows me to confidently handle any situation. Not only do I offer top notch care - I’m a huge communicator! I send lots of updates and adorable photos. When booking with me, you will never have to worry or wonder what your pets are up to (Check in as often as you want! I encourage it!) I also offer bathing & nail trims! Please feel free to ask any questions, my priority is always the comfort of you and your furry friends. Looking forward to hearing from you! Aside from caring for other pets, most of my work is online. This allows me to be flexible of when or even where I work. Feel free to let me know exactly what you’re looking for, and we can come up with a plan! Every pet is unique, and needs different things! I tailor my visits to each individual animal. My goal is to create a happy and loving environment for your pets while you’re away, and earn your trust so you can leave your worries behind!
About: I’ve volunteered at Dakin so my expertise is felines. I have rehabilitated, fostered, trained, and socialized any type of cat or kitten. Believe me, they’re just like dogs. My partner and I are both on-call medical professionals so one of us is always home during the week days. I’m at home during the weekends studying for school. Our time is very flexible! It’s best to keep pets separated until a day or two if they come into my home and then there’s a meet and greet. Otherwise, a meet and greet is essentially a day before before entering into their domain.

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.
“Grace is an absolute gem, AND we were lucky enough to be her very first Rover walk! We have a 1-year-old bull terrier, Romani, who is crazy, hyper, and loveable in equal measure. Grace took it all in stride like she'd been doing this for years. She was incredibly sweet with her, and Romani loved her right back. She tracked her pee breaks and poop breaks and kept her out walking the full time (maybe a little over actually!). That kind of attentiveness and communication means the world when you're trusting someone with your fur baby. If you're on the fence about booking Grace, don't be. She's a natural, and we will 100% be booking her again. Give this girl all the five stars! 🐾”

“It was too wet/rainy outside to walk Gidget, but I kept the appointment time anyway. I wanted to start once a week walks for Gidget to get used to seeing Katie around before house sitting for us. Hubby said that she took the time to get to know her and vice versa. Very pleased with Katie.”

I genuinely love all animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. I have full time employment as an educator but will have summer break coming in June so I will have plenty of time for your pets!☺️ When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is always making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. For dogs, I enjoy going on long, engaging walks and making sure they get both exercise and enrichment. For cats, I focus on gentle care, play, and respecting their comfort level—whether that means interactive play or quiet companionship.
“I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

About: Hi!! I’ve had experience with animals for my entire life, and I’m looking for a bit more experience to build up my portfolio for veterinary school. This would be beneficial and enjoyable and open your schedule a bit. I’m currently at my normal job 4 days a week, on top of college, volunteering , and social obligations. I have 3 days off on which I can potentially be available. Im unavailable for any pet services in my own home, but I can commute to you and care for your pet at yours. I can do bathing, cage cleaning, walking, feeding, watering, playing, and any other necessary tasks. I will not stay anywhere overnight, but I can work with your animals for a few hours during the day.
About: I have taken care of pets all my life, by 8 years old I had 5 pets to care for. Comfortable around all dogs and cats. Very much a pet person! I currently work a full time job but I can definitely make a schedule that accommodates to your fur baby whether it be walks, check ins, companion time or whatever else I may be able to help with! I am not offering at home care for pets just yet, not able to provide the space in my current home. hoping to very soon.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”
“I’m very happy with the job Katelyn is doing and would definitely recommend her to anyone else. Katelyn has been sending me cute pictures from each walk and has an eye for the camera. She seems to genuinely care about the welfare of my puppy.”

About: I bring a naturally calm, grounded presence into every home I enter. Pets are incredibly intuitive, and I prioritize creating a peaceful, steady environment where they feel safe and secure. Whether your dog is anxious, high-energy, or just needs consistency, I focus on maintaining a structured routine with patience and gentle guidance. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and comfortable, and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in stable, attentive hands. I’m currently in school and have a lot of time in between classes! I have tons of times to take care of your best friends! When pets stay in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. I provide a calm, structured environment with consistent routines to help them settle in smoothly. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and supervised play, and I always monitor pets while outside. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers a crate for rest, I can easily accommodate that to maintain their normal routine. My goal is to create a peaceful, secure space where your pet feels at ease while you’re away.
