“Ciara was excellent with our dogs. She was easy to communicate with and the dogs seemed to get along well with her. She sent several photos while watching them. We don’t usually travel without our dogs, but we would definitely rebook with Ciara if we were not able to take them with us.”

“Robin is so nice and very good with Kota! She communicates well and sends pics with updates daily! Robin and Kota were fast friends and we hope to have Robin stay with Kota more in the future!”

“Jade was an absolute sweetheart. Our sitter had to cancel late the night before and she was able to cover that next day. She answered very quickly and on short notice. She did everything I asked her to, and hope she enjoyed staying in our home for the few hours she did. I know our dog loved having the company.”

“Did an Absolutely wonderful job taking care of our pups! The love he showed our dogs and our home was phenomenal. He left our house in better condition! We would recommend him to anyone”

I work full time during the week but I am available Mondays and Fridays if needed. I am more than happy to come anytime of the day on the weekends! I enjoy getting to know other animals so I tend to either play with them or if they seem like they’re happy just sitting and hanging out I’m happy with that to!

About: I personally love seeing all different kinds of different pets and have taken care of ducks, dogs, cats, and chickens so i’ve had a variety of experience with different pets. I’m a freshmen in college so my availability is pretty wide open ! I don’t have a job right now so i’m even more open for anybody’s needs ! i’m from a well trusted family and have so many references from people i’ve pet sat for and they all love me and the way all of their pets love me 😊
About: With over a decade of experience in animal husbandry, I care for pets of all ages and species. I’ve provided reliable pet sitting through college and now as a biology professor, handling everything from daily routines to medications and special needs. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable, happy, and cared for just as if you were home. Flexible for mornings, nights, and extended stays. I teach from morning to midday on weekdays. I usually wake up early to spend time with client’s pets or my own and have plenty of time to work in enrichment time and meals in the evening. It’s very important to me to provide a sense of normalcy to your pet. I may start out as a stranger but your pet and I will soon become best buds. I keep a strict schedule for check ins and they very quickly pick up that I’m keeping with the program and this eliminates a lot of their stress. I prefer to stay in your home and stick to your walk schedule (unless you’d like a field trip to a walking trail) so that the only change they have to deal with is missing you!
About: In my life I have had many dog sitting experiences, I have my own dogs & cats! About: I have been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors for 30 years. When it comes to pet care, I don’t just “watch” animals, I learn them. I pay attention to the tiny tells, the tail angles, the side glances, the way they circle twice instead of three times before settling in. That means your pet isn’t getting a generic routine, they’re getting care shaped around their personality, quirks, and comfort. I communicate clearly and consistently, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. With me, your pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, and you feel confident know they're in capable, attentive hands. I'm currently a homemaker and would be able to accommodate your schedule through the week and on the weekends with pet care in your home or ours. Both of our boys are rescues and have been enjoying their furever homes. Kevin (dog) found us and hasn't left our sides since coming into our lives. Uncle Ricky (cat) was adopted from a shelter and has become the most loving cat we've ever had. They are loved and spoiled beyond belief.

About: I’ve been handling animals ever since I was 13, this includes cats, dogs, and even bunnies! (I had one that I let free roam). Cats and Bigger dogs are always a personal favorite but I truly love animals and even considered going into veterinary sciences! I can assure you, your animal is in great hands seeing as I have a cat and two dogs myself! I’m a current part-time nursing student who uses this as a sort of side job on top of my normal job that i work at full time (30hrs a week), but i still have a lot of time to care for critters of any kind! Whenever I’m at my Aunt and Uncles for up to a week dog sitting and house sitting for them, I make sure to feed both of their dogs and let them out at least every 1-2 hours especially after feeding them, and they stay outside for about 30mins-1 hour, but i don’t mind walking animals at all either! And of course I like to cuddle up with animals if they allow me too and give them play time as well as a little down time to cuddle up and be content!
About: Ever since I was 6 years old I’ve had an unusual connection with dogs. They are my world. For some reason they always seem to find me. I’m the person you see on the highway going after a lost dog. I’ve had 6 dogs at once before. I can’t seem to say no to dogs needing a home. It’s my happiness. I have my own company and pick my own hours so I’m able to work around schedules to make sure I take care of the animals. I have a fenced in backyard, with two dogs right now that are very animal friendly and sweet. I have a 5 year old daughter who loves to help out with my fiancé.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eastaboga walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eastaboga maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eastaboga choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
