“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

I’m happy to provide care at whatever time or date works best for you—just give me about three days’ notice so I can plan accordingly. From time to time, I do watch my son’s three grand-pups, but I always try to block those dates out in advance so there’s no overlap or confusion. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority! I do want to be fully transparent—I live in a trailer in a quiet trailer park, which unfortunately isn’t an option to select on Rover (they only allow “home,” “apartment,” or “farm”). While my neighborhood might seem a little rough around the edges, I promise it’s much friendlier than it looks. All of my neighbors are senior citizens and truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. My best friend lives next door and helps keep an eye on my little one if I ever need to step out for errands or groceries, so your dog will always be safe and looked after. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard and typically leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out as they please. We have three female dogs of our own (pug & pug mix) and they would love to have friends over to play ball. I look forward to helping you with all your boarding and care needs. About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

I worked as Head Wrangler for a Christian Girls Home and have had the opportunity to teach girls to ride horses & I exercised horses when they weren’t doing lessons. We have toys, beds, and blankets throughout our home. Water is available 24 hours a day. Every pet is fed individually. We have potty break/play time outdoors every 2-3 hours.
About: I have taken care of many dogs and including my own! I love to see the different variety of dogs and how each one has their own little of style of being taken care of! Currently a college student so it would be a perfect fit in my schedule and kind of creating my own work schedule but still having a job! Making sure i know where to locate everything in the clients home and how many treats the dog may get! “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: I have always had fur babys . I’m currently a vet Assistant, I have been one for seven years . I can administer all types of medications . I can take care of all medical needs and anything that’s needed from puppy’s to elderly baby’s . I have two dogs and four cats myself . I work as a vet assistant so I’m very knowledgeable in all areas of taking care of animals sick of healthy I have a fenced in yard . I house sit for my groomer and family when they go out of town so I’m no stranger to that as well !

About: I’ve had dogs and cats and bunnies my whole life! I am happy to take care of your pets and love on them while you are away. I’m currently working Tuesday through Thursday 8-5. I’m available for long weekends or care during the week if your pet can be home alone for 8 hours during the day. I have a fenced in back yard, can walk dogs on a leash and can crate as needed.
