“Rachel did a phenomenal job! This was our first experience with the rover app, and we were nervous to leave our cats for the first time. Rachel put us at ease the entire time, taking lots of pictures and giving in depth updates on our furry besties. We appreciate how prepared she was, and her attention to details. Even when we asked her not to worry about the liter box, she kept us updated when it got full quicker than expected! It’s only been half a day since we been home, and I swear one of our cats is expectantly waiting for her new friend Rachel to come back (: will be booking with her in the future!”

I make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I’m currently working part-time, so I have a lot of availability throughout the week. I love morning walks because they get me up to start my day while also being active. As well as mid-day and evening walks allow me to take a break from any tasks and get outside in the sun while having some fun! Whether I’m visiting your home or walking your pup, my goal is to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable. For walks, I make they get plenty of fresh air, exercise, a potty break, and time to sniff and explore while keeping a close eye. About: I’ve had all kinds of different dogs and cats throughout my life and am part of a big family which has the same, let alone my animal sitting experience with ages ranging from babies to some senior pups. About: I'm a former Cross Country and Track runner currently on a weightlifting kick, so if you need energy, I've got you! I have lots of experience with dogs from my own pup, but I have also cared for cats, ducks, chickens, goats, and fish. If, for some reason, you need care for a few lightweight livestock, I can do that! I'm a college student home for the summer, doing some sibling transportation and not much else! I've got lots of 2-4 hour blocks in my schedule, and I'm hoping to do something other than exhausting my own pup. If I'm going on a walk, I love to get the dog a little excited to begin with, if they aren't already. I'll often start with a little jog, and then settle into the walk. I try to balance tick risk with the fun of sniffing weeds, and when possible I stick to the shade.

About: I am certified in pet first aid and CPR, and am very serious when it comes to pet care, safety, and health. I have experience in pet care through all stages (puppy - senior), and complex medical cases. Each dog and cat is an individual with their own needs, wants, and traits that need to be fulfilled and noticed. BOARDING & DAYCARE: I LOVE pet care, and providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment. I will also analyze your pets individual needs and allow them to approach me as they become comfortable. I understand how important it is to choose the right person to take care of your beloved dog or cat. My primary focus will be the safety of all pets in the house. I will also make sure you feel happy and comfortable that your pet is in my home. DROP IN VISITS: Playing, potty, feeding, cuddling, bathing... I will do whatever needs to be done to make sure your pet is both happy and safe! PLEASE NOTE: - I work until 1:30pm on Fridays. - I will accept boarding OR daycare. I cannot accommodate both arrangements on the same days. - If you have one dog and more than one cat, I will accept them all. I will have a private, separate room for your cats. - I would like as much notice as possible to set up the pet care arrangement! CATS ONLY: You can drop off your pet on Thursday evening if needed I have a fenced in yard and two dogs that are very friendly, well-behaved, and playful! I will always monitor them, and never leave them alone without supervision. Our cat is blocked off by a 5-foot tall gate (she stays in the bedrooms) and the dogs are in the rest of the house. My previous dog, Johnny, passed away last year and throughout his life he experienced health issues that required daily oral medication (he had epilepsy and hypothyroidism, and during the last 6 months of his life he struggled with Cushing's Disease). I am experienced in how complicated medication and health issues are in pets, and I take it very seriously. I make sure our home is a calm environment filled with toys, playtime, cuddles, and mentally stimulating activities. My goal is to do what's best for the individual dog/cat and make them feel both safe and loved! If needed, there is a private pet room that will be changed to fit the dog or cat's needs. The set up will include toys, their own items the owner provides, and washable mats on the floor that will be washed/disinfected before use. If your pet needs their own private space, I will make this room a fun, and relaxing place to be! Please note: to ensure the safety of all pets in the household, I need to see the most recent Vet paperwork showing your pet is up to date on vaccines (unless health or age prevents them from receiving vaccines), and does not have a contractable health issue. Also, your pet must NOT be aggressive.
