“Kavya was great with my three little monsters, who each have very distinct and different personalities. They all loved her though! I was very comfortable having Kavya in my home. She gave thorough updates and sent lots of pictures. Fantastic pet sitter! Will be keeping her on speed dial for future needs!”

“Kelsey is reliable and takes great care of our pup. She has a great response time and has always come through for us and taken great care of our dog and our home when we’re away. Very helpful and professional, I would highly recommend her!!”
“Hailey did a fabulous job watching our dogs (and kitten!) from start to finish. She communicated well and was very helpful and kind to all of our pets. She was also flexible and thorough. We would certainly love to have her watch our pets again. She gave us great peace of mind knowing everyone at home was happy and well taken care of while we were out of town.”

“Sunny waits for Mia every morning and is her new favorite person!! She is sweet and kind to him, can handle his exuberance and she's really flexible and communicate thoroughly letting me know she's on her way. I couldn't be happier with Mia and an so grateful I found her!”

“Susan is a GREAT pet sitter! She always takes time during drop-ins to cuddle and/or play…even with the aloof bunny. My kitties love her. She took on my chicken flock without problems. I definitely recommend Susan for your pet sitting needs!”

“Dana is highly competent and caring. She handles my kitties’ medications as well as feeding them. (None of them are are currently on injections, but she can do those too). The cats love her.”

“Once again, Rebecca to the rescue. My mom asked for me to come visit out of town last minute. I checked and Rebecca was available so I was able to make the trip. I’ve had the most wonderful time with the family, and part of that is due to knowing my furbabies are so well-cared for.”

My work schedule varies but I’m very good with time management and I’d love to fit you into my schedule! My classes start back up in August so after that, my schedule will be more limited. About: I have hands on experience caring for both puppies and older dogs. I currently help raise and train our own puppies, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I’ve also pet sat for older dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort, and keeping their routine consistent so they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I genuinely love being around animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and a calm, loving environment while you’re gone 🤍🐾 Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I work as a full-time nanny during the weekdays, typically finishing in the mid afternoon, and I’m often already in homes with pets as part of my nanny work. I also have my own puppy, so caring for animals is a daily part of my life. I’m used to managing a busy but flexible routine, so I’m able to fit pet care in consistently and reliably around my nanny schedule and personal responsibilities. In clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their normal environment. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication (if needed), and any specific house rules. I make sure to keep things clean and consistent so pets feel secure while their owners are away. For dogs, I prioritize walks, playtime, and structure so they stay happy and exercised. For cats, I focus on a calm presence, litter box maintenance, feeding, and giving attention based on their personality and comfort level. If a pet were ever in my home, they would be treated like part of the family - with a calm, safe space, lots of attention, and a routine that keeps them comfortable and stress-free 🤍🐾
About: Hi! I’m Brittni! I’m a work-from-home human and proud fur-kiddo mom with many years of pet-sitting experience for friends and family. Size, breed, or number of pets is never an issue— I have experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m comfortable providing care for pets with special needs, including administering medications and treatments as needed. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. We all want our pets to be cared for the same way we care for them, and that’s exactly what I strive to do! When messaging me to inquire about sitting your pet, please also message me with the following: For dogs: 1. Is your dog cage trained? If so, will a cage be provided ? 2. If not cage trained, is your dog able to be unsupervised within the house without chewing/destroying items? 3. Where does your pup sleep at night? 4. Medication administration needed? If so, when/how often? 5. Does your dog(s) get along with other animals/children? (Our younger children are not here all the time) For cats: 1. Does your cat scratch household items such as couches etc.? 2. Does your cat spray or anything? 3. Any medication needing to be administered ? 4. Does your cat get along with other animals? PLEASE NOTE: I am happy to do a meet and greet to meet your pets. However, I will not be introducing my dogs during a meet and greet. This is something I take my time doing since I have three dogs of my own. I don’t want all animals to be thrown together all at once. I work from home during the week, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, care and companionship throughout the day. After work, and during weekends are usually very flexible for me. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have a long leash so your pet can enjoy safe outdoor time, in addition to regular walks if you’d like. In my home, in addition to my husband, I have two Frenchies, one chocolate lab, and a cat (who mainly keeps to himself), as well as children who love animals and help provide plenty of companionship for your fur-baby.
“Jocelyn was a joy to work with, we hired her to watch 2 cats in our home for over 10 days. Our meet and greet and all communication were very positive and clear. During the meet and greet one of my cats immediately took to her and they became fast friends. Our other boy is exceedingly shy and hid but I did not think this had anything to do with her personally. Jocelyn was responsive, attentive and patient with all needs and questions, following all directions, arriving on time, staying the full time, etc. I received multiple photos every visit and an update. She even put out bird seed in our outside feeder for us as an extra touch- which was great because our cats like to watch them. I was in a different time zone and sometimes did not reply to her right away but she was gracious about this every time. When there was a situation where she needed to have a child family member with her for one visit she did not assume it would be ok to bring them in - she asked first. We didn’t mind and so appreciated that she was a person who would be conscientious enough to ask. We came home to a house just as we left it and 2 healthy cats. This whole experience was such a relief because it is stressful to have a new person in your home and be far away for the first time, but we have already booked her again for another trip we have planned and feel good about that. Do not hesitate to book her - I will keep her on speed dial!”

Excellent job taking care of my three kitties while I was away! Everything was well cared for, and I came home to happy, healthy cats. Great communication and peace of mind throughout my vacation. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her!

Kavya was an excellent communicator while we were away. She sent us lots of photos of our cats and gave detailed updates. She was also very thorough when she came to do the meet and greet and made sure she understood what we needed and all boxes were checked. Would absolutely recommend her and will use her for any future needs!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
