“Katie, her wife, and their three four-legged assistants are such an amazing team! I can be a helicopter pawrent but I knew that my pup was in safe, knowledgeable, and loving hands off the bat. Katie sent photos throughout the service and my pup was having tons of fun all the way until pick-up. They have a large yard for the pups to sunbathe in and run around. We spoke at the end of the service and they gave me a run down of how everything went and I greatly appreciated that especially since it helps me get to know how my pup is while I’m away. Overall, my pup had a great time and I had a peace of mind while I was away from him. They are the sweetest humans and pups!”

About: Hi my name is Kayla, I’ve lived here in San Antonio for 8 years before that I lived in Laredo with a family of Pitbulls. Mom, dad, and all of their babies. I have had a lot of experience owning many different animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and turtles. I currently have a Pitbull named Pitlet, a Chiewennie named weenie and another weenie named Preicess. They are my entire world. About: Animals have been a big part of my life for over 20 years. I currently have two dogs that I raised from puppies, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention that great pet care requires. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently work as a freelance software developer, so I have a flexible schedule with open availability for pet care. This gives me the ability to provide reliable, consistent care and be available for walks, drop-ins, and other pet care needs throughout the week. During walks and drop-ins, I prioritize safety by using secure leashing practices, monitoring the environment, and making sure pets have fresh water and plenty of attention. I'm fear free certified and have a range of experience from healthy, medical needs, and seniors. I'm comfortable administering medications and providing medical care. I work well with scared and nervous pets and make sure their time is stress free as possible. I also have personal and professional experience with pocket pets and aquarium pets. I work full-time but I make sure to plan accordingly for your pets needs. I have an extra bedroom that they can stay in, if not comfortable having them around other pets. I also have a kennel if they need down time or like to have a safe space to decompress in. I have 3 days off during the week and those days will be filled with multiple walks, play sessions, and anything else that will make their stay comfortable. I have a fenced yard and my 3 dogs love playing and taking walks throughout the neighborhood. I have a separate room and/or a kennel for any pet that's not comfortable or needs additional time to decompress.

It made my work trip stress-free not having to worry about her and I couldn’t be more thankful! I plan my days around their needs whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company. It’s important to me make sure every pet feels loved and attended to while their family is away. I carefully follow each pet’s usual routine including feeding schedules, exercise, medication, and any special instructions to help keep their experience as stress-free as possible. I have a dog-friendly yard for outdoor time with plenty of space for crates, cages, or litter boxes if needed. I have multiple rooms available in my home for pets who may need a quiet separate space to gradually get comfortable before interacting with other pets or exploring the home.
