About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and have had pets since I was 5. Very attentive and love animals. I will take care of your pet like it’s my own I provide attentive pet sitting through Rover, working remotely with a flexible schedule, allowing frequent walks, feedings, playtime, updates, and personalized care throughout each day. I have parks very close to my home to walk them and my apartment is very spacious and large a lot of room for fun!

About: I grew up in a multi pet home and learned to walk, train and groom pets from a young age. I cared for the last family dog through her medically tedious senior years. Through college I pet sat and walked for friends and family. For 2 years I worked for a veterinary clinic, although my job was marketing I often was asked to assist with holding and monitoring patients. When I became a pet owner I adopted puppies raising them through potty and crate training. I am proud to say they continue to be healthy and happy. Now we foster and pet sit dogs of all ages and sizes because of the dog friendly environment we’ve created at home. My success in pet lies with gaining the pets trust. I approach them slowly and go at their pace, sitting and waiting on the ground if necessary. I am pet sitting and walking full time so I have plenty of time to dedicate to my clients! Dogs are typically walked and out between 7am and 9pm. I have a fully fenced yard with ample room for running and playing. There are four resident dogs who are friendly and used to guests. We can crate your pup or have them sleep in a bed or in bed with me. Water is available at all times through a 2 gallon water dispenser.

Since my young adult years, I always have had cats and have been learning how to care for them from personal experience, reading online, and visiting vets as well as volunteering at shelters in Chicago over the years or supporting fundraisers! About: Kyle and Ben have been caring for dogs in our home for over fifteen years. We have experience administering medications, whether they be topical, ingested or intravenous. Our goal is to make sure you know your dog is safe and well cared for while you're out of town. We are very quick to respond to all phone calls, text messages and emails and will keep you posted with photos and updates on how your dog is doing while they are staying with us. We also provide flexible pick up and drop off hours for your convenience and can provide transportation if necessary. Kyle has several years of experience working in the pet care industry, starting with shelter work, moving onto a dog daycare/boarding facility and managing of two different dog and cat supply stores (one local, one corporate) in the last fifteen years. She is certified in dog and cat first aid and CPR by the American Red Cross and has experience administering topical, oral and intravenous medications. She has extensive experience handling senior and disabled animals, as well as dogs with behavioral issues. We have always loved dogs and owned dogs throughout our respective childhoods, but Kyle has gotten more hands on experience in the last fifteen years by dabbling in different fields of animal care. She worked as a kennel attendant at the local SPCA for a period of time, caring for homeless dogs, cats and rabbits. It was there that she learned proper care techniques and how to administer medications. She took these skills with her when she went to work first as a kennel attendant and then as the office manager of a small dog daycare and boarding facility. She spent the next seven years serving as store manager of two different natural dog and cat supply stores, where she helped pet owners provide their animals with healthy natural foods, treats and other supplies. She also organized many in store events to help highlight and raise funds for many local rescues and shelters. In 2020, Kyle completed school to become a dog groomer and has been grooming dogs in Hyde Park for the last several years. Both Kyle and Ben work mainly from home, or not far from home. Kyle works as a dog groomer and is able to bring your dog to work with her during the day to minimize any time your dog may spend without human supervision. We never allow anyone off leash on walks, and we do not utilize off leash dog parks for safety reasons. All of our pets are fully vaccinated. Feeding times are always supervised to prevent any potential food aggression. Toys and chews are put away when human supervision is unavailable to prevent resource guarding.

About: I am a fully remote bank analyst and I just adore animals. I just have this great passion for animals of all sorts, no matter where. I am very organized and great with time management. I will for sure be on top of any schedules you might have for your pet, as well as making sure that they’re just as happy to be with me as I will be with them. I am also super active so I will not hesitate to run, jump, or play with your pet to ensure that they stay happy and healthy. Last and most importantly, respect is my number one priority. I will make sure to respect you, your home, your time, rules/schedules, and most importantly your amazing fur baby. I work fully remote, so I have plenty of time to spend ample time with your pet! All I need is WiFi and I am good to go! The most important thing to me is to make sure that the space is hazard free and as clean as possible. I make sure there’s nothing your pet can get into that can be potentially harmful or dangerous.

About: I give animals good eye contact, effective tone, pay attention to their physical capabilities, and show love, respect, and observe surroundings for danger while walking I am normally home early mornings and during the day. Some days I work events as an artist but I have a very flexible schedule. I make sure the floors are clear so that animals are free to roam. I don’t keep chemicals or certain plants out that would harm animals.

“Maren has been a godsend to us. We brought Luna home at 8 weeks and I was super nervous about finding someone to look after her while my partner and I are at work. We were in a tricky position because she's not crate trained yet, so she needs all-day care, but doggy day care's won't accept her because she doesn't have all her shots. When I asked Maren to look after our little rascal 2x a week for 2 months, she was incredibly accommodating. It's been 2 weeks now since Luna has started "camp Maren" and it's been great. Maren communicates well and sends multiple updates throughout the day. Luna loves Maren so much that she does a little happy dance (which involves jumping, wiggling, and lots of kissing) every time they meet and I can tell she's not quite ready to leave when we come pick her up.
