Dog Boarding in East Northport

“Our 1.5 yr old Chocolate Lab Maelee is a very high energy dog .. the kind we would never think of leaving at a kennel where she might sit in a crate all day with maybe a few pee breaks. When we visited Marina and Dennis' house for a meet and greet before her stay, I knew right away that this was no ordinary dog sitting place - this was a loving dog-friendly home with LOTS to do !! Their house was "open" for Maelee to play, hang out .. or nap just about anywhere she wanted. Their fenced back yard was huge and spacious and every dogs' dream with wooded trails behind their house if it was OK by us for her to explore under supervision ( We have hiked quite a bit with Maelee so this was fine by us - she listens and stays nearby while still being a dog and exploring) .. but most of all I could tell Dennis and Marina would treat her like their own and give her the attention and playtime she longs for. Maelee was their 10 hours and when she got home she slept that evening .. night .. and well into the morning so I could tell she probably didn't nap a bit while in their care and probably had them sleeping as much after caring for her for all day !! This was the first time leaving Maelee with anyone outside my wife and I .. we didn't even feel my sister was ready for her energy level even though she has a lab mix of her own. We were hesitant, but our initial "feel" was correct and this was a great experience for us and more importantly Maelee. If they will have us back ;) we know Maelee would love to go back to Happy Dog Inn for more stays with Marina and Dennis.”

“Riley had the most amazing 12 days with Vanessa, Danny and Luna. I received updates every morning and night with pictures and videos. He was loved by them as if he was their own. We are so grateful we found worry free place to board him and were able the enjoy our vacation without worrying if he was ok. Can't wait to plan our next vacation so Riley can be reunited with Luna!!!”

“Margaret was a great communicator and had a wonderful fenced in yard that tired our pup out! She has a friendly, playful dog who kept our dog company and tired him out - he was happy and exhausted when we came to get him! She sent plenty of pictures while we were gone and took him on tons of walks to keep him entertained and active. Her kids were super sweet with our dog and you could tell he loved being around them!”

“Mike and his wife Janice are the loveliest people I have ever met. They cared for our little Cairn Terrier Lucy as if she was their own. Mike was amazing with daily updates, providing photos and videos throughout the day. Really put my husband and I at ease. This was our first time using the Rover app and leaving her with someone who was not family. Incredible experience. You will not find this somewhere else. “I left my 10-month old puppy with Julia and her family for 5 days and it was the best decision ever! Julia was amazing from the beginning. She reached out, was willing to speak on the phone and we met in person. When we went over for the visit she welcomed us in and really welcomed Oakley as her own. Throughout the day Julia would send message blurbs and pictures to show how the day was going and what my puppy was up to. Seeing the pictures of him so happy was everything I could have hoped for and more! Leaving a dog with a stranger can be scary but Julia made for an easy, relaxing, worry free trip!!! 10000% would book with Julia again!!”

My yorkiepoodle "Milo" have a specific food diet and they accommodated it perfectly. They kept me updated of Milo by sending his pictures daily starting from his morning routine to the evening routine. Daily Pictures and text assure me that he is happy and is having good time.
