“Amy was wonderful to work with from start to finish! As a first time Rover user, I wasn't sure what to expect, but she was kind, accommodating and made our family feel at ease while we were on vacation. It's easy to see she's great at what she does, really cares about the dogs she's taking care of and treats them like family. Her Rover check-ins were always fun, informative and included pictures that brought a smile to our face. She even left a Halloween goodie bag for our dog Cooper, along with a "thank you" note - nice touch! We'll definitely be working with Amy again next time we go on vacation. Thanks for a great experience, Amy!”

“Lisa is wonderful. She did drop in visits when I was away for a few days and my dog was well cared for. She walked him when needed and spent time with him when he chewed on his bones. She’s flexible and I will definitely use her again.”

“Madelyn is great! She’s watched our cats twice for us while away for a week. She’s prompt, communicates issues as they arise and follows directions. And most importantly, she was really sweet with the cats. Would happily rebook in the future”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a small dog from the time I was born through elementary school, and once I went off to college in 2000, I would do everything possible to hang out with friends dogs. Upon moving back to the Philly region in 2007, I started dog sitting and walking for a friend until 2010 when I had a place of my own, at which time I started with fostering dogs having up to 4 dogs at a time. During that time I become a dog parent myself to 1 and then 2 dogs. When I became pregnant with twins, I stopped fostering and then raised my twins with 2 big dogs by their side. During this time I would also dog sit a neighbors dog, and would have 3 large dogs to take care of. I have trained the foster dogs and then my adopted dogs anywhere from 12 weeks through 3 years, most who had experienced neglect and trauma, so I’ve had many experiences with dogs. A friend recommended I use rover as she knows how much I miss having a dog around and the joy a dogs presence gives me. Outside of appointments and driving my kids places after school, I am home, so I have lots of availability to play with dogs, take dogs on walks and have them overnight. I have experience with getting dogs to take medicine, experience with dogs who will eat everything in sight, experience with crate trained dogs, dogs who are house-trained, but not crate trained, and dogs who aren’t trained at all (but at this time, I can not take on the latter for house sitting in my home). I have experience with dogs who are frightened of loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms, yelling), dogs who are always the shadow next to you and so much more. If your pup is used to sleeping in bed, we have 4 people (3 kids and myself) who would be happy to make that happen. I would love to take care of your fur-baby whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, doggie daycare or overnight stays in my home. I’m currently out of work, and looking to create a daily structure with dog walks, dog hikes playing with a dog, etc. with this, I can provide as much time with your pet as needed. Your dogs safety and needs will be my top priority. Outside of the home (or fenced in backyard), your dog will always be on a leash. If your dog is crate trained, or has specific environmental needs, I will make sure to keep those routines so the dog feels safe. Please know that I care and love dogs deeply, and am of the mind that a dog is calmest and on its best behavior when it’s human can provide it structure and “discipline” (ie show the dog the human is the boss). My kids have been taught to respect a dogs space and how to properly approach a dog. Please know that any dog in my care (via house sitting or walking) will be well loved, treated with respect and receive plenty of walks and playtime.

“Tim has been incredibly professional and great with out year and a half year old Australian cattle! After only two visits she is incredibly excited to see him despite normally be anxious with new people.”

“Colleen is as reliable as they come. My pooch is a little particular but trusts her fully and she always helps make our lives easier.”

About: Hi! I'm Stacey, your small dog's favorite Auntie. I am a lifelong dog lover with decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. Dogs have been part of my family since I was a baby and they've always held a special place in my heart. My Pet Care Journey: Growing up, I helped care for our Cocker Spaniel, Pepper and our Poodle Roger-both of whom lived long happy lives. Later, our family adopted two energetic Yorkies, Austin and Martin (names after Dr. King himself). As an adult, I welcomed a Bichon Frise named April Mae, who was my constant companion through life's adventures. We traveled together, spent summers side by side and formed a bond that touched everyone in our neighborhood- most people knew her name, even if they didn't know mine. After April passed, I eventually found my next furry companion: Mali Joy (pronounce Molly) a gentle 6 year old Maltipoo whose previous owner could no longer care for her. I gave her time, space and love to adjust and now she happily sleeps at my side every night. I am also the proud grandmother to a rescued terrier mix named Luna Marie adopted by my daughter and her spouse. Why Choose Me? As an Elementary School teacher, I have summers off and a flexible schedule to dedicate quality time to your pets. I offer: *Drop-in visits *Dog walks *Boarding for small-medium sized dogs Your pet's comfort and well-being are my top priorities. I provide a loving, patient, and safe environment where they can feel right at home. Whether your dog needs a walking buddy, or a staycation, I'm here to help! Let's chat. I'd love to meet your furry family member! Check out my picture gallery to see all the friends that have visited us! I am an Elementary school teacher, so I am off for the summer. I am very flexible! I can come to you to walk your dogs or take your dogs to the park. I will take friends on the weekends during the school year. Drop off needs to be after 4:30 pm. I live in a town house community with much green space for dogs to walk. I also live across the street from a huge farm park. I am lucky to know that they are building a dog park behind my development. Dogs are able to be on furniture in the home.

“Angelina came to visit my dogs to have a meet and greet for future visits. She is very reliable and seems to be a great person. My dog is very nervous around strangers and she was very patient and understanding.”

About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats, both personally and professionally. As a dog walker and pet sitter, I built strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets. My responsibilities included monitoring and reporting changes in behavior or physical health to pet owners and supervisors, as well as administering medications when needed—something I also regularly do for my own pets. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my day around feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any medical care that’s needed. Whether it’s my own pets or a client’s, I make sure each animal receives consistent attention, exercise, and affection. I also am on top of any special instructions from owners. Because animals thrive on routine, I make it a priority to provide a calm, structured environment where they feel safe and cared for every day. Need something last-minute? I’ve got you—same-day bookings are just an extra $15. Happy to help! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their space with respect and do my best to follow their routines to help pets feel safe and at ease. I keep things clean, calm, and comforting, and I pay close attention to any changes in behavior or health. I stay in touch with regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels loved, secure, and well cared for while you're away.

About: Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine. Since I was young, I’ve looked after dogs and cats—starting with family pets and expanding to walking, feeding, and sitting for neighbors throughout my teenage years. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to two pampered 14-year-old cats and a high-energy, sweet-as-can-be pit mix who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with snuggles. I adopted my dog when she was just 3 months old and invested time and love into her training. She’s now 3 years old, exceptionally well-behaved, knows multiple commands, and walks beautifully both on and off leash. My friends and family often tell me she’s the best-mannered dog they’ve ever met—proof that patience and consistency pay off! Whether it’s energetic pups, senior pets, or curious cats, I bring care, experience, and attention to every animal I look after. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, I’m here and happy to help! I have a flexible schedule that affords me availability to help with your pet needs. Feed, walk, pet, play, or train. I will make sure your babies are well taken care of. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from energetic pups who love to run, to sweet couch potatoes who just want a cuddle and a treat. If you have a fenced-in yard, I’m happy to play fetch, toss a frisbee, or let them burn off some energy in a safe space. For more relaxed pets, I’m always up for some quiet bonding time and belly rubs. Kitty cuddles are always welcome too! I’m well-versed in litter box cleaning, food and water refills, and understanding the little quirks that make cats unique. Whether it’s potty pads, poop pick-up, or special feeding routines, I handle it all with care and consistency. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely to make sure their routine stays familiar and stress-free. I treat every animal as if they’re my own—because when you’re away, they deserve nothing less than dependable, loving care in a safe and nurturing environment.

“Sofia was awesome! On time, followed all instructions & took cute pics. Will be using her again. ?”

“Mia was pleasant, accessible and reliable.”

“Alyssa was great with our two kitties this past holiday weekend. Our little little lady cat often puts on a tough front with new sitters for the first few visits, but Alyssa was incredibly patient with her, just letting her come around at her own pace until she was comfortable. We're very pleased to have her back as a sitter for a longer trip in the coming weeks!”

“Denise did a wonderful job caring for my animals. She arrived on time, provided a detailed report card and pictures with each visit. My animals were calm and happy when I arrived home.”

“Malinda watched our two cats while we were on vacation. She cared for our cats like they were her own, provided thorough updates, and great pictures. She is very responsive and detail oriented as well. Our cats were happy when we got home. We highly recommend Malinda and would book her again for pet care!”

“Natalee was able to drop in on our two dogs on short notice, which we really appreciated! Communication was quick and easy. Our older dog has been hating the cold weather and can be nervous around new people, so she protested her collar and going on a walk. I appreciated that Natalee was patient with her and didn't try to force her when she wasn't comfortable. Our younger dog quickly befriended Natalee and no doubt enjoyed the one-on-one time on her walk! We'll definitely check Natalee's availability for future bookings.”

My dog loves being around Stacey, probably because she spoils her. If you're looking for a responsible, trustworthy and warm-hearted companion for your dog, Stacey is the person for you.
