About: I’ve had several pets and worked with livestock over the years. Pepper was our family pet, a Border Collie I trained as a puppy. I cared for Murdoc, a 50lb German Shepherd mix, into his senior years. In 2017, I rescued Circe, a pint-sized black cat, and in 2021, Joey, my sweet senior beagle boy. I feel like I’ve done it all: thorns in the paw, administering meds, emergencies, play time, treat time, training, long walks, car rides, cleaning messes, and more! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I do venture out sometimes, but keep it to four hours maximum. I'm more of a night owl, so I prefer drop-offs after 10am and can accommodate pickups as late as 1:30am. If you need to arrange a drop-off earlier than 10am, need to book without two weeks notice, or I’m unavailable at the start or end of your booking, feel free to message me—I'm happy to see if we can work something out. I only book one dog at a time through Rover. However, I may also be caring for additional dogs through my LLC. If you're booking with me for the first time on Rover, please note that there may be other dogs in my home, other than my own, during your pet’s stay. These dogs are not new to my home—they’re regulars who have been properly vetted and are low- to medium-energy. Your pet is my priority ✨ I am attentive to details, so when a new furry friend comes over, I keep a close watch on how they're adjusting to their new temporary environment. I'm excellent at picking up on even the smallest signs they give off and base my care accordingly to ensure they're feeling comfy right from the start. I have a dog and cat at home and will care for your pet as though it were part of the fam! I have advanced education in communication, so I strive to be transparent about what is going on with your pet, and I expect the same from you before booking. Every pet has quirks, whether your pup needs lots of cuddles or some space to chill, I make it my mission to ensure your pup feels safe, happy, and like they're on vacation during their stay!

About: Hi my name is Christie and I am a huge Animal Lover! To me, dogs and cats aren’t just animals they are lifelong companions. 💕 I have many years of experience caring for a multitude of animals (30+ to be exact). As a kid, we had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds you name it. In high school, I worked for a groomer and learned a lot about how to properly care for different animals. I've always had a passion for rescuing because of my mom and her love of rescuing/saving animals in need of a home. It’s something that she passed down to me. RIP Momma I Miss You! ❤️‍🩹 My philosophy is that every animal deserves to know what love is in its fullest form so that is what I strive to provide to each and every animal in my care. I just recently lost our two oldest rescues dogs named Romeo and our Wheaton Terrier named Hayley. Oh and let us not forget our very outspoken Torti cat named Nala whom we loved dearly. So we rescued our beautiful cat Bella and most recently a sweet 4 month old puppy named Nova. They are my furrkids, my companions, my therapy animals, and my little loves. As a self-employed cosmetologist I am blessed with a flexible schedule which allows me the opportunity to be here to help care for your pet companions in the best ways possible. I am flexible and I am open to helping when & where I’m needed. I have references I can provide from those whose animals I have cared for previously that I will happily provide. Exercise is important to me so we like to spend time taking the animals we care for on long walks or hikes, swimming, or to the park to chase a ball or frisbee. I strive to give them the love and play time that they deserve. 🫶🏻 I am currently self-employed so I’ll have lots of time to dedicate to your furbaby/furbabies. I’m dedicated to making sure your pet feels loved and accepted in our home. I have two friendly dogs who will give your furbaby lots of playtime fun. We teach tricks and go for daily walks, play fetch, and support lots of playtime. Daily snuggles and love are a must!!

About: I am an avid dog and cat lover that wants to live vicariously through your pet. I'm a full-time social worker whose career is caring for people in community. However, my passion doesn't stop there. I also love animals! I was born and raised with cats and dogs throughout my whole life. When caring for your dog or cat I treat them with love and care as if they were my own. I love giving lots of ear scratches and belly rubs along with taking them outdoors on walks. She was willing to help with potty training and create training and offered other training services. She had great advice and did great with my puppy during her stay. She was flexible with pick up and drop off times and communicated needs and concerns with me about training before implementing changes with my puppy. Overall great experience!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors and family members since middle school. Currently I walk and care for 2 dogs of a family friends. I grew up always having multiple pets and multiple dogs. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 Guinea pigs. I completed schooling and worked as a dog trainer for a pet store for two years during college. I also took care of college classmates dogs and cats while they went on vacations. I’m currently a stay at home mom. Boarding your pets would be easy to arrange! At most I am gone for a kids play date or sporting event for 2 hours at a time during the week. On weekends we may have an event that I am away from home for 4 hours. Our dogs are out in the yard at least 4 times a day getting their zoomies out. I have a fenced in yard for your babe to play. Extra small and large dog crates to keep them in during the day or over night. Willing to bathe your dog for $20. We have 2 Pomeranians (1 male, 1 female) to play with your loved one. Please always let me know on your dogs play comfortability with other dogs. Very willing to send videos and work on treat training with your pup if wanted.

About: There has never been a day of my life that I haven’t had and loved and cared for a pet. My love for animals is unmeasurable. I have cared for my own pets, as well as pets of my family and friends. About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember! I've helped some at a vet clinic and cared for dogs there. I have had my own dog who was a senior. I am very comfortable with, and have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I actively dog sit acquaintances' dogs. I am very active and will love to run and walk your dog! I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.

About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. I have 2 dogs a toy poodle and a pitbull mix they are both very friendly and great with new dogs and love to play. They would be amazing to keep your dog company.
