“I think I’ll be home 4 to 5ish. My son has us set on a boat ride 12-2 in Lake George.. I thought if you lean the gray gate against the wall where he dug, maybe that would keep him away so he doesn’t do more damage.”

“This was my first experience with Rover. Brian came over to meet our dog and make sure it was a good fit before we decided to use him. Brian sent pics and left our house in perfect condition. I highly recommend Brian!”

About: Hi there! I'm Bree, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and loved when you’re away. That’s why I always communicate clearly with pet parents to understand their needs before taking up a job. I want the best experience for all parties. I can send regular updates, photos, and even a few videos to keep you in the loop! I'm currently working 3 days a week, usually Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 8 am to 3 pm at the latest. Pet care can fit into my schedule very well, depending on the needs and wants of the owners and pets. I am very flexible and can adjust accordingly Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet with the same level of love, respect, and attention I give my own. In your home, I do my best to keep your pet’s routine consistent—mealtimes, walks, play, and quiet time—because I know how important structure is for their well-being. I’m careful to follow your instructions exactly, and I always double-check details like feeding guidelines, medication, and home security (doors, gates, etc.). I also send regular updates if needed, so you know your pet is happy and safe while you're away.

“Haley was attentive and loving towards my two dogs. Often sending us updates, she also followed all our instructions. We couldn’t have been more pleased with Haley. We will absolutely be using her again!!”

“Anna was an excellent house sitter to our nervous greyhound and cat. She sent daily updates at least and took booker for the walks he needed. She went above and beyond keeping our house in order. We spent the vacation knowing our pets were cared for and came back to clean house. Highly recommend (unless we need her ;-) )”

“Jess was awesome! First time having her dog sit for my 2 dogs and definitely not the last. She stayed with my dogs for 8 nights, checked in with me everyday with photos and to let me know how they were doing. One of my dogs is 13 and can sometimes get anxiety when we leave him with a dog sitter - but not this time. Jess was so good with them, gave me such peace of mind to know they were in good hands!”

“Amber was so sweet! She sent me multiple updates and photos every day which made me feel a lot more secure about leaving my babies with her! She absolutely loved my animals and enjoyed spending time with them. Amber spent a week house sitting my two dogs and cat and i'm pretty sure she was there the entire time without leaving. They definitely enjoyed her company! I'd recommend her to any of my friends and family (and would use her again if i didn't move out of the area).”

About: My grandfather and mother both have an animal science background so I was raised with a knowledge of animals and how special they are from a very early age. Because of this, I care deeply for the well being of your pet and treat them as my own. I think animals reflect the best of human behavior. I believe that animals have an innate power to heal and connect that is awe-inspiring. This ability I witnessed first hand growing up with a golden retriever and a German shepherd, the later becoming a therapy dog and certified pet partner for my family. Lastly, I have taken care of dogs of all ages and breeds from 1 month to 16 years, from 15-130+lbs, and done some by house sitting, walking, and boarding. I love all dogs, but am partial to bigger ones because that it was I grew up with since age 10. I currently work full time so I am available after or before business hours during the weekdays (8am-5pm, Monday-Friday) or anytime on the weekends to walk, visit with or house/dog sit. I currently WFH on Fridays, so my house/dog sitting is limited to Friday - Sunday. I can commute from anywhere in the metro Albany or Saratoga Springs, NY region so dog walking and/or drop-in visits are posible any day, most weeks. I will do my best to make your dog feel like nothing has changed in their own space (your home). On walks and during play visits, I will make sure they are comfortable, constantly watching body language for anxiety, fear, and exhaustion, etc. and will let their behavior dictate the pace, duration, where we go, and when bathroom breaks are needed. I treat walk and play time as their time and I am just there to make sure they have the most enjoyable time possible, while protecting their safety and health.

About: I have had my own dog for twelve years. People tell me I have a knack with dogs! Experienced, caring, reliable, punctual, trustworthy and professional! I'm retired, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will always do my best to accommodate the needs of my clients. Value your business! I don't do Pet Sitting at my home. While Pet Sitting at your home, my services include feeding, potty breaks, playtime, TLC, possibly a walk.

About: I’ve pet sit for neighbors and friends since high school and always had a great time. I can be patient and am good with giving medications if required. I am planning on doing this part time while doing college online so my schedule is very flexible. I would also be open to doing weekly appointments. I typically try to be minimally invasive when I pet sit at others home and follow the directions left to me. I always try to get a dog I’m sitting for out every two hours unless otherwise told.

“Rachel was very responsive and took great care of our pets! She was communicative and let us know how our pets were the whole time we were gone! Highly recommend and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

“Dawn was amazing! She took great care of our dogs. We received updates and photos upon visits. She gave them their meds and gave them a homemade treat (snaps dipped in peanut butter)…so cute! I highly recommend Dawn for your pet sitting needs.”

“We had an amazing experience with Brianna as our dog sitter! She was right on time, super friendly, and clearly has a great way with animals. Lauren B.
“Lauren is a kind and loving pet sitter. She is provided exercise, extra love, hugs, and belly scratches for our two dogs (65 lb & 110 lb). Lauren also house sat for us. She respected our rules and home and didn't leave a single dish in the sink or food on the counter when we arrived home. She even called to ask if she had time to give the dogs one more walk before we came home so they would be a little calmer when we arrived. We highly recommend Lauren as a pet and/or house sitter.”
