She took it slow with Bella and soon Sierra had her eating (she has NEVER eaten a meal when we are not there with her), going for walks, and napping. About: I've grown up with dogs since I was a kid. Currently, I have a dog that I got from a rescue over 8 years ago and he is my baby. You can trust me to take care of your dog like they are my own. I am caring and trustworthy. I have watched friends and family members pets before and looking to help out others! My current availability is mostly on weekends and holidays. During the week I am available for boarding, but I am at work full time on weekdays. I have a dog who loves to meet new friends! I can follow your dog's schedule and spend time with them to make them feel comfortable.

I informed her about Milo’s neuter and she was really caring and kept sending updates about the stitches as well. I am from Chicago and sad that they’re in NY. About: I’m Mindy and I am a stay at home mom. I have two school aged children and a small dog, Mazie. We adopted her from the animal shelter and she is a therapy dog for the Paws for Love program. I have extra time on my hands and would love to care for your pet! I enjoy being outside and active and love taking my dog for walks and bike rides! I have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. I have experience taking care of cats and dogs, of course! Mazie is an easy going dog and very friendly and loving. She gets along with other pets as well. I do prefer crate trained dogs at nighttime. Since that’s where Mazie sleeps up in our room. About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! Whether it was caring for my own pets or helping animals in need, I’ve always felt a deep sense of responsibility and joy in making sure they feel safe and cared for. Over the years, I’ve rescued a baby deer, birds, and multiple dogs, and each experience taught me how to stay calm, patient, and gentle in all kinds of situations. I bring that same energy to pet sitting—being someone an animal can rely on, and someone owners can trust. My natural love for animals, along with my experience as a nursing student, means I’m observant, nurturing, and not afraid of a little extra care—whether that’s for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs. I currently work part-time on weekdays, so I’m available for pet care after 4:30 PM during the week. Evenings are a perfect time for walks, drop-ins, or spending quality time with pets who need company after their owners leave for work. On weekends, I’m fully available and happy to offer boarding services, since I’ll be home and can give pets my full attention. My schedule allows for a healthy balance, so I can make sure each animal I care for gets the time, consistency, and affection they deserve. What sets me apart is my calm, compassionate approach and my experience as a nursing student—I’m naturally attentive, observant, and gentle, which carries over into how I care for animals. I’ve grown up with pets and currently care for two cats of my own, so I understand the importance of routines, patience, and respecting each animal’s unique personality. I’m also comfortable with both dogs and cats, including pets who may be shy, anxious, or in need of extra attention. I’m especially good with senior pets, and I’m comfortable helping with medication, special feeding routines, or mobility needs. I take pride in providing a calm, safe environment where pets can feel secure—and owners can feel confident.

“We drove from TN to NY for my cousins wedding in Buffalo with our dog so she could meet some family and see my home state. I’m not from Buffalo though so I was so happy to find Mindy to watch our dog Lady during the wedding hours! It’s always nerve wracking leaving your baby with new people but Mindy calmed our nerves with photos and a couple updates and I knew Lady was in great hands. She was also super flexible with us for our pickup and dropoff times changing, which we really appreciated!”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.
