Whether they’re energetic, shy, scaly, fluffy, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own best friend. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible morning schedule and the ability to create my own hours. I love spending as much time as possible with the animals, making sure they feel loved, stay active and engaged through play, and are always safe and well cared for. We just got a new doggie pool for the heat, and have a pop up agility course to play in.Parks nearby is Knox farm, memorial Park, BurchField and more. My car/dog mobile is set up with dog seatbelts so we can safely drive to our next fun destination( if approved by owner). Proof of vaccines and flea/tick prevention required PRIOR to drop off. I try to take only one dog but there may be an overlap of a boarding client and daycare client. About: I have been pet sitting for about 15 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I AM NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT DURING SITTINGS. I KEPT IT IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING MULTIPLE DROP-INS At the end of last year I ended up taking in 3 Doberman puppies that I had dog sat for regularly. I was able to find a home of one of them but the other two are still with me. Because of this I am not able to do extended stays that require me to be gone overnight or dogs that cannot be left alone for a few hours due to separation anxiety or medical reasons. But if your dog is friendly please consider boarding! I currently work from home with flexible hours most of the time. My schedule is very accommodating and I love being able to take advantage of nice weather or last minute requests. The yard where I am is NOT fenced in, but it is very large with several acres of wooded area in the back. For dogs that need to stay on leash there is a long tie out and plenty of walks. I never let the dogs play outside without supervision. There are two other friendly dogs on the property (in addition to my own 2) and two dogs next-door that come over to play all the time. So we have our own mini, well-mannered, well-socialized dog park.
