Pet care experience

Your pets happiness is my mission.

I have been taking care of dogs for the past 15 years, and have rescued two lost dogs, an abused dog, and two lost cats. I lovingly cared for them until either their owners were found or were placed in a better home. Neighbors, friends, and family also rely on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets on a regular basis. My daughter and I have also been actively involved in a weekly dog training group for the past two years. I also have extensive experience in handling dogs with aggression issues, for I had a dog of 11 years whom displayed this sort of behavior, and have went through a significant amount of hands-on training with a professional dog trainer to learn how to best maintain a healthy and safe environment for both our dog and family. I also continue to participate in ongoing training classes and certifications in Dog CPR, puppy training, understanding what's inside a dog's mind, and how to handle dogs with aggressive behavior. Additionally,I have successfully organized and led a children's camp with 6 different therapy trained dogs as my guests, while teaching the children how to best interact with the dogs in a positive and natural way. Lastly and most importantly, I am able to provide your dog the best of care in a safe, well-managed, and loving environment within my home, as well as a spacious, fenced-in backyard to run and play in. If need be, I can pick-up and drop off your pet, and can even bathe them upon request. I can gate off certain sections of my house to keep pets separated if necessary, and can also crate your dog if needed/requested. My home is also smoke free.

Excellent photos and checking in- she was even willing to troubleshoot an issue with our litter robot.

Pets

A typical day

I would love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We will play games, snuggle, check out all the new smells in the neighborhood when we go for walks, or go play with other dogs at the dog park right near my house. I've come to realize that my dog clients seem to really like when I just sit there and talk to them as if I was talking to a human being! There are times where I feel so connected with the dogs that it's almost like as if we speak the same language. I will love and care for your dog as if he/she were my own! This is what sets ME apart from other sitters. I put my whole heart and soul into each and every one of my clients, and am extremely attune to the needs and feelings of each and every pet I care for. I have also been told by many pet parents that they "have never seen their dog as comfortable with anyone else as they are with me," and I believe this is true. I know how to "work my magic" even with the barkiest, most aggressive, shyest, nervous pet that went from from shivering behind a chair in fear to soon crawling up into my lap and giving me kisses. Pet owners can finally be at ease knowing that their pet will be in the best of hands under my care!
