About: At age 5, I had the privilege of caring for a pot-bellied pig that my parents brought home. Soon after, I had convinced them to let Wilbur sleep in the kitchen, which is often where they'd find me sleeping, curled up with him as my pillow. Ever since, there hasn't been a time when I haven't had a rescue or stray. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, puppy to senior. I don't believe in the saying that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Picked up overtime? Low on dog food? No problem. Whatever your pet needs, I can help. Si lo prefiere, hablo español. I'm a night owl. Afternoons, evenings, nights all work for me. Late night or very early morning pet care is possible, but I'd prefer to get to know your pet when they're most comfortable first. I know that it can be difficult trusting anyone else with your fur baby, but they're in good hands with me. We can go over routines, feeding schedules, and I'll gladly send pics and updates on our adventures. I have doggy seatbelts, portable water dishes. We can go to the park, take a walk around the neighborhood, your own yard, or even just a quick potty break. If you need someone to stop at the store for pet food, treats or something else, I can handle that too.

About: I’ve worked in the vet field for 6 years, caring for dogs and cats. And I’ve been fostering for 6 years as well. I’ve had a love for animals since before I can remember. They are my passion. I care for every single one of them as my own I’m a stay at home mom. I don’t have a lot planned right now other than some up north trips and a wedding to plan. Our house can be chaos with all the animals and 2 kids. But everyone is loved and played with. We can go for walks as our neighborhood is not as busy.

Whether your pup needs a midday stroll or some extra love while you’re out, I can be there. Your pet’s routine will always come first. I offer walking and in-home pet sitting, so your dog stays comfortable in their own space. My own pup prefers a quieter environment, so I don’t host pets at my house. I’m always respectful of your routines, and I treat your home and animals with the same care I give my own.

About: Hello! My name is Mike and I've been fostering dogs since 2019. I've had approximately 18 come and go, only foster "failing" (foster dogs who I ended up keeping) with two who stayed and had the best golden years. I lost my most recent boy in August, a blind Bichon, just shy of his 12th birthday and after 3 great years. He was type-1 diabetic and blind, and after so much time as a foster getting his insulin regulated, he decided I was his forever family. He had a sister when I got him, a senior Yorkie with diabetes insipidus and a host of health issues. All that is to say I'm a professional at insulin, rigid medication schedules and diet maintenance. Presently I have no dogs of my own. When it comes to your dog, I'll keep your daily routine and walk schedules too, so your pups stay is as minimally disruptive to their normal routine as possible. I've fostered dogs of many breeds from Chihuahuas and a Rat Terrier to a Golden Retriever and Saint Bernard. I've had as many as 4 dogs at once so I'm open to having multiple pups at once. I'll never accept dogs from multiple families unless both families are booking together and the dogs are socialized with each other already. And I'll never cancel a confirmed stay for a more lucrative multi-dog request. I live alone in a detached house in Wallaceburg, and I work from home so your dog won't be left alone aside from short errands. I'm not big on crating dogs, leaving them free to be where they like while I'm gone. I have a den with glass door if you tell me they need smaller quarters, or you can bring your crate for me to use. I have a large fenced yard for playing fetch or dogs who need to run. This is a total dog house. I bought it due to its flat land and not having stairs, and I built a ramp down to the yard. I installed a dog door but it will stay blocked unless having access is suitable for your pups. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, and will have free roam of the house (there's no basement, and garage isn't accessible). House sitting radius: the Rover app limits a 100km radius when setting the territory I can offer the services. I've got my radius set Eastward to circle Toronto, as I grew up there and love an opportunity to take gigs that get me into the city. Unfortunately I can't draw a circle that includes Windsor, but I'm happy to take gigs there too. If you're in London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, or the GTA, and you have a dog that can be left alone for 2-3hrs max, I may be willing to offer discounts on price so I can catch up with family and friends in those areas while I'm there. If you have any questions or you'd like to arrange a tour or meet and greet, don't hesitate to reach out. I work fulltime hours from home, typical office hours. I'm usually awake by 7am and bed by midnight. I don't have many friends in town so I'm home most of the time. My yard is fully fenced. I have a couple Tile tracking tags that I can attach to their collar if they're an escape artist (or you'd like to track your pups location remotely). Hazardous items like cleaning products are kept in cupboards or in my detached garage. My house is pretty dog proofed and I'm not concerned if your pup has an accident. That's what mops and upholstery cleaners are for. I think I've developed pretty good dog body language, and only correct misbehaviour by command and redirection. I'm a bit of a sucker that let's them get carried away when they're being silly, but particularly with bigger dogs I'll make sure their training is maintained (no jumping up to greet, making sure they don't assert dominance etc.)

About: Hi there! I'm Liz! I am the owner and operator of Critter Care and Rescue! Everyone who knows me, knows that my life revolves around animals! I personally own/foster/rehab dogs, cats, horses, small animals and even wildlife! Professionally, I've worked in the animal field since my first job at a pet boarding facility when I was 17. - I am trained for dog/cat Heimlich & CPR (have successfully used that training to save a dog's life!) - Over 20 years of experience with practically every domesticated pet - Worked for 3 years professionally as a canine trainer - I do wildlife rehab, and have successfully rehabbed and released numerous wild critters! - I fear no species, breed or size! I own my own company - Critter Care and Rescue! This is my full time job, which allows me the freedom to pick up pet care appointments, even with very short notice. I treat every animal I interact with as if they are my own. I am hyper vigilant about safety- whether that is environmental, the animal's health or the body language an animal is showing. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and can’t imagine life without them. Growing up, I cared for all kinds of pets, with a household of dogs, parrots, aquarium fish, and bunnies. Because of this, I learned the ins and outs of pet care from a young age. I had the privilege of caring for my dog for 15 years until he recently passed. Being with him from puppyhood through his senior years gave me experience with every stage of life, from energetic walks and playtime to the patience and gentleness older pets require. Because of this, I am looking to continue spreading puppy love until I am able to adopt one of my own! I recently moved back home after graduating college, and I am actively applying to jobs- so I am very flexible and available when it comes to scheduling! I have one other dog in the home. She is a very friendly German shorthair pointer dog, who loves to cuddle up or play at any moment! I have a couple acres of yard, and a pond (that I can keep your pet out of if desired!) I am able to board pets inside, or in a kennel outside- I’m here to meet your preferences!

About: I’ve taken care of & shown all kinds & sizes of dogs since I was 8. Currently only have one dog, but he’s a big boy. I’ve showed Golden, Poms, GSD, husky and our current pet is a Berner/Pyrenees. Groomed all of them too. Also experienced with livestock, so I can handle anything! Grew up with horses, goats, cats and rabbits. Super excited to meet your baby! I am looking to fill some time, so I would be super excited to visit your pet! I’m also very flexible on scheduling as well. I will try to keep your pet to their normal schedule, so even if you are gone, they will not be too upset. About: Have a history of dog breeding and care, love all pets. We currently have 2 small dogs, our cat passed way last year sadly, but we love both. I am currently not working outside the home and so I am available every day for your pets needs. I can care in my home or in your home. I have a fully fenced in yard where even the smallest dog cannot get out. In your home I am available to help them feel comfortable and safe when you are away.

About: We are a family of dog lovers who will treat your pup just like our own. We love taking our dogs for walks around the neighborhood and then snuggling up with them on the couch afterwards. I work from home, so your dog will be home with me all day. I like to take breaks for walks. We have one friendly dog who will also keep your dog company. Your dog will be in the home with our family and dog. We have tie-outs in the back yard for potty breaks plus a very walking-friendly neighborhood.

About: I’m kind, reliable, nearly always available, responsive, very fond of all pets and time spent with their personalities! Growing up with pets, I surely have over a decade of experience. I live in a RV full-time with my own pets traveling for my partner’s line of work. My job already consists of caring for my fur babes, I’m hoping to earn a little and have a reason to leave the resorts we stay at. No better way to do that than my passion - interacting with/caring for pets. I have a fenced area, my fifth wheel has a fenced in patio off the ground, and plenty of free roam space at the resort for long walks or other activities. About: ONLY SIT UP TO 25 lbs... Hello, I'm Cynthia, a true animal lover; I have owned many dogs & cats, they're my passion and bring me much joy. I will care for your babies like they're my own. I will provide a home away from home. I live in home in Chesterfield (23 Mile & Sugarbush/Seaden) with a beautiful fenced yard; only dogs up to 25 lbs. I often sit 1-4 dogs at a time; so your pet must be able to get along with other dogs. I will take your pets on daily walks and supervise them outside frequently to potty. I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. Oh, and book early, I fill up quickly, and please note the cancellation policy. I look forward to hearing from you! Cynthia I'm retired and home quite a bit, outside of normal activities, such as shopping, occasional dining out, etc. The dogs are very happy in my home. I have a totally privacy fenced yard, the dogs love to run around, sniff all over the place, and my home has safety gates on front and side doors.
