About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available on weekdays and weekends however early or late as needed, and for as many drop-ins as needed. My schedule is very flexible! The care and safety of your pet is the most important thing to me. I make sure to keep human food out of reach along with plastic bags, cords, or other potentially harmful items. About: For as long as I can remember I have taken care of, rescued, and cared for animals. Through out my life I have over all had 18 animals in my house hold (at one point in time 8 cats all under the same roof) and I have often helped taken care of animals of family and friends. I have checked in on dogs for noon outside time and potty breaks as well as stayed at a home for as long as a month to take care of a cat. I have experience with pets in all stages of life and in handling animals with different temperaments. I have also given animals medications (from diabetic shots to thyroid pills to special prescription food) and I am very active in taking care of them. Currently I have one dog and three cats that I share with my partner, all of whom I have taken care of from early on in their lives. I am currently in between jobs so most days and times I am available. I do share a car but we always work together to figure out who can use the car when. Just let me know what you need and when and I will work with you to figure out a schedule that works for both of us. I am very respectful of other's homes, making sure things are clean and nothing is messed up. Whether your fur baby tore up a rug or I accidentally broke something, there will be full transparency on what happened while you're away. I can send daily text check ins and don't mind being called daily to ensure everything is alright, your animals are family and I will treat them as such. Any house rules or animal schedules you have set I will abide by. I will give your animal full attention and do what I can to give them what they need.
