About: I have cared for pets since I was 7 years old! I currently share my home with two kitties and three dogs. I also have some experience with smaller animals, I've had three Syrian hamsters in the past and have cared of guinea pigs and rabbits in a shelter setting. I've even cared for pigs, goats, and horses before! For my professional credentials, I've worked in animal care for a combined five years. I have cared for hundreds of animals in animal shelter and veterinary clinic settings. From shy and fearful dogs to feral cats, to kittens and puppies, to senior animals. I have cared for animals that need medications and/or special diets. I have experience with leash and barrier reactive dogs, exuberant canines, and leash biters. I have completed dog handling in a shelter and feral and fractious cat handling courses through Maddie's University. And I've assisted in moderating 10-15+ dogs in play groups before! Through these experiences I've become proficient in understanding animal body language, able to identify a variety of possible health issues, and learned how to best keep animals safe and happy. All in all I believe my varied experiences with animals professionally and personally will allow me to provide great care to your pet! This is my primary source of income at this time! And I want to work with you, the pet parent, to understand your pets' habits, preferences, and any allergies or health issues.

I was nervous because I usually like to have family watch them, as I know them. After meeting Khalia, I could tell she cared for animals, and it made me feel better. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life. Close family friends have trusted me to watch their animals for them. I love animals so much and enjoy their time. I’m currently home from school. I have plenty of spare time on my hands. Animals are the perfect people spend my time with away from school. About: I have always been surrounded by kitties (for the most part short-haired cats) and I am well accustomed on how to attend to them. I am attentive, caring and patient. I also have a fur baby of my own who I love deeply even though she is a troublemaker haha. I also enjoy playing with them and keeping them entertained. I am happy to care for your beloved fur babies I would be available to pet sit from 10am to 7pm, mostly everyday except for Sunday, which would only be 12pm to 5pm. I am also pretty flexible with my schedule so I am understanding of any emergencies and can make exceptions for days/hours, just feel free to ask me !! I would prefer to pet sit from your home. I have my own pet and she is a little anxious so it would not be comfortable for her if I bring a friend to my home. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for their physical health like; brushing teeth, grooming, cleaning their paws and moisturizing, clipping their nails, cleaning their ears, wiping their private parts to make sure they are clean etc. I enjoy playing with cats and keeping them entertained to make sure they are not bored and can help with their development as they grow. I would also make sure their environment is clean. I also would prefer to have detailed notes of who your cat is, what they cat like and dislike, any disabilities etc. This way I am completely informed on how to care for them.

About: I have cared for dogs my whole life and have also loved and taken care of cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I know our pets are our family and I will love and respect yours like they are my own. I am off for the Summer and have an open schedule for your beloved pet. After August, I am available after 4:00pm for any pet care needed I am able to provide care, companionship, walks, love, and medications as needed. Please let me know if your pet has anything they don’t like so I can make sure to give the exactly the comfort they are looking for.

About: I worked in an animal hospital for a couple of years. I have watched furbabies (cats and dogs) of family and friends for many years and even have office dogs at my job! I am mainly available during the weekends but can occasionally do evenings during the weekdays after my full time job. I work from home during Fridays so I am fully available then too. I would prefer to pet sit in an environment that your furbaby is already familiar with aka your home! I’d also be happy to take them (dogs) to a park or trail for them to explore as I love taking long walks.

About: I grew up around cats and dogs. I’ve had two rescue dogs so far, and I have prior shelter experience. Special skills: training young pets, separation anxiety, oral/topical medication, senior care I work remotely so pups would be at home with someone at all times and would have access to frequent potty breaks and play time. I have a fenced yard and one other dog who is very gentle and sweet so she would keep them company and go on walks with them!

About: I fell in love with dogs ever since my grandma took me with her to get a husky. Bravo felt like mine and i’ve been helping her take care of him since I was 8 I am a college athlete and spend a lot of time training. I am pretty flexible with my schedule now and I believe this can be too! In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions carefully. I will treat their home like it’s my own, keeping it tidy and clean. I will be communicative, giving updates and pictures. My goal is to make your fur baby feel relaxed and loved in whichever environment they are in.

About: I grew up on a farm and we've always had 3 dogs and 2 cats along with a plethora of other animals. I know how to ensure safety and have a clear head when things go awry. I absolutely adore dogs and cats of all ages and can competently take care of any range of behaviors. I'm a ballerina and a personal trainer. But I will absolutely check in, walk or play with your pet any chance that I get! Normally it would be in the morning or near the evening. My schedule is more open on the weekends. I am a very precautious person when it comes to the safety of your pets. I always double check instructions and make sure the door or cage is secure before I leave. I also will give them all the love and attention they could want.

About: I’m fortunate to have experience with a wide variety of animals thanks to my cousins, who have two cats, three dogs, a turtle, and a horse. I help care for their pets regularly, so I’m comfortable meeting the unique needs of animals of all kinds and treating each one like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m currently finishing up breast cancer treatment and have intentionally chosen pet sitting as my primary work. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. About: I treat every pup like my own. If your dog isn't napping or resting, we'll be active and engaged. That may include playing with their favorite toy, going on a walk, or getting plenty of belly rubs and pats. I believe dogs thrive on love, attention, and activity. Therefore, I make sure they're never bored or lonely. I'm currently a student at UIC with one class online and one class in person. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me plenty time for walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. On walks, I let your pep lead the way so they can explore at their own pace. I love finding nearby parks where they can burn energy. It I'm caring for a pet in your home, I'll always follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine.

About: I’ve been a cat parent for years and currently have two sweet cats of my own. Bubbles is my 6-year-old tuxedo, and Baybee is 7. Baybee was declawed by a previous owner, so I’ve learned to be extra gentle and mindful of her comfort and the way she moves around. Having my own cats has taught me that every cat is different. Some want lots of love and attention, while others need a little more time and space to feel comfortable. I’m very patient and always try to let cats come to me at their own pace. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles, and keeping up with their normal routine. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I would treat your cats with the same love, care, and attention I give Bubbles and Baybee. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to make pet care a consistent part of my routine. I can provide walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also available on many evenings and weekends and will always communicate clearly about my availability. I treat every pet like they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions closely. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, and medications are handled carefully, and I pay attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you know your pet is safe and doing well.
