However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home. When I asked Maren to look after our little rascal 2x a week for 2 months, she was incredibly accommodating. It's been 2 weeks now since Luna has started "camp Maren" and it's been great. Maren communicates well and sends multiple updates throughout the day. Luna loves Maren so much that she does a little happy dance (which involves jumping, wiggling, and lots of kissing) every time they meet and I can tell she's not quite ready to leave when we come pick her up. Upon arrival, I get to business and perform the kitty chores first so that the end of the visit is filled with paw-some fun! At this time I am only cat sitting at my claw-ients house to ensure minimal disruption to the kitties. I give my fur-iends time to warm up to me & approach them on their terms.
About: I love animals and working for pets would be so amazing as they are very close to my heart. I have done 2 cat sitting jobs and helped take care of a friend dog. I love taking care of cats, including my cat Simba right here. In my spare time I also help volunteer at the Tree House Cat Shelter and rescue some cats to take to my local no kill shelter. I also help support the Ian Somerhalder Foundation where we care for the animals and the environment. Even though I am in college right now my schedule is very flexible. About: I grew up in a home where we treat our dogs as family. I've cared for 4 dogs separately in my life time, 3 of which were via my parents home and one of which on my own in my first apartment in Chicago IL. Dogs almost never miss a beat with approaching you with so much love & joy when you come home and so I feel I should only do the same with how I care for them; i.e making sure their dishes are clean that they receive enough walks & play time for the day, that they also receive treats not just for good behavior but just because they're wonderful. My specialty is communicating with him or her of their needs and servicing them to satisfactory.
About: Since I was a kid, I knew that I was born to take care of fur babies. I absolutely love them. They are the best I used to always play like I was a vet and till this day That’s exactly what I want to do with my life. They deserve the world, I love to help the strays an any way I can. Whether that’s sheltering them for a day or two, getting them vaccinated, taking them to a pet facility and etc. I don’t like seeing animals in need every fur baby needs they own human. Don’t you think I’m currently working part-time but I’m looking to take care of the fur babies and help out full time. Anytime. I can even do multiple days I have an puppy and now one cat due to my other passing, I clean my cats litter four times a day, depending on smell, and how full it is, and I walk my puppy 5 times a day because she has an weak bladder. Hygiene and health means everything.
About: I absolutely adore all animals, dogs in particular! I've been taking care of dogs of my family and friends for a good 6 years now and I find it very rewarding and just enjoy it overall. Hanging out and taking care of dogs is already a plus, but to get paid is definitely a major bonus. I welcome most if not all dog types and will make sure they fit right in at home and be as comfortable as they can. I like to establish a good amount of trust with my fellow furry friends, just to keep things running smoothly for me, the clients, and of course the doggos too! I am available most days from morning till afternoon, if not all days because I love it that much and wouldn't have it any other way!
