However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home. “Maren has been a godsend to us. We brought Luna home at 8 weeks and I was super nervous about finding someone to look after her while my partner and I are at work. We were in a tricky position because she's not crate trained yet, so she needs all-day care, but doggy day care's won't accept her because she doesn't have all her shots. When I asked Maren to look after our little rascal 2x a week for 2 months, she was incredibly accommodating. It's been 2 weeks now since Luna has started "camp Maren" and it's been great. Maren communicates well and sends multiple updates throughout the day. They are the best I used to always play like I was a vet and till this day That’s exactly what I want to do with my life. They deserve the world, I love to help the strays an any way I can. I have a soft spot for brachycephalic breeds, and I owned and raised a Boston Terrier rescue dog for 12 years (RIP Batman 2009-2023). I currently own a mellow and submissive lab/husky mix, Henry, and a Maine Coon/Domestic Medium Hair cat, Tater Tot. Both get along with other animals. I am currently not working a full time “normal” job, so I have plenty of time to walk and babysit your furry friends. I am available for on-demand walks in the city limits of Chicago and south suburbs. For North and Northwest Suburbs, I can be flexible with enou I own a historic Victorian row home; it is 3 stories plus a basement and 2600 sq ft. My home is in the heart of the Historic Pullman District, on National Park Service land. My neighborhood is VERY safe, and my home is also down the street from the 005 District Police Station. My home has plenty of room to spare for your fur children. Not only that, I also have a 6 ft fully fenced yard. There is a dog park 3 blocks from my home, and I am in close proximity to several Forest Preserves. If baths are requested, bath lovers can enjoy baths in a jacuzzi tub, and bath tolerators will be bathed in a walk in shower with a double rainfall showerhead, and a handheld shower head for the hard to reach spots. I can offer pickup and dropoff for those without a car or time to spare, and dogs will be transported in a seatbelt for safety.
About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was born from dogs, to fish, and even a turtle. Given, I have experience in both raising puppies and senior care. My family has lost our 16 year old labrador retriever last year, Mac, due to old age and would like to continue to show our love for pets through helping other families! We recently got Mickey, who is an energetic and fun Shih Poo looking to make friends! I am currently not working so I have plenty of time to take care of any of your pets needs. I currently have open availability! I have a spacious home and large unfenced yard for your dog to play and relax. Your pet will also be very safe under consistent supervision and attention to their needs.
About: I absolutely adore all animals, dogs in particular! I've been taking care of dogs of my family and friends for a good 6 years now and I find it very rewarding and just enjoy it overall. Hanging out and taking care of dogs is already a plus, but to get paid is definitely a major bonus. I welcome most if not all dog types and will make sure they fit right in at home and be as comfortable as they can. I like to establish a good amount of trust with my fellow furry friends, just to keep things running smoothly for me, the clients, and of course the doggos too! I am available most days from morning till afternoon, if not all days because I love it that much and wouldn't have it any other way!
