“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

About: I have been around animals since I was born and have found my passion and purpose in caring for them. Grew up with 2 parrots, a dog and a rabbit. Started to volunteer in animal shelters in high school and haven’t stopped since. I have 3 pets of my own, 2 cats and a dog, and love them more than anything. I have also been fostering for a few shelters since 2019, and have fostered over 100 pets of the years. My fosters have been underage and sick kittens, adult cats, dogs with behavioral concerns and puppies. I have experience administering oral medication(liquid and tabs/caps) to dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. I also have experience administering subcutaneous injections and fluids. I treat every pet in my care as my own and tend to them with love and care. Let me spoil your pets while you are away. I work full-time 9-5 but I work remotely which allows me to have the flexibility needed to attentively tend to the pets in my care. I always walk dogs on a leash and I am alert to surroundings to ensure maximum safety. In the home I observe pets and monitor their behavior to be able to spot any health concerns as soon as possible.

About: I have been caring for a pet since I could walk!! From cats of all kinds, to dogs big and small. I have had diabetic pets so giving meds is nothing new to me as well. I have had large dogs like boxers, pits, and doberman's. I have also had small dogs like chihuahua's, and everything in between. I have a border Collie mix named Ophelia who is my everything, and a calico short hair cat named Blake who was gifted to us through the cat distribution system!! I am great with animals and I am no stranger to behaviors due to separation anxiety. Your pet comes first when you pick me for a job. Their feelings and boundaries will always be respected. And all the love and play time they desire will be respected as well!!! I'm a full time stay at home mom to an 11 year old boy who doesn't need mommy for much these days so I have tons of time to devote to your babies needs!! I will respect your home like it was my own while I am there. I will follow your directions without question because these are your fur babies and you know them best.

She must have played my dogs tired every day because ever since they woke up they’ve been wanting to play like crazy. About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole 30+ years of life, specialized experience includes special needs, puppies and seniors. I have such a love and passion for animals and would love to get to know yours and help you out in any way possible. I have experience with animal care volunteer work through different humane societies as well as some dog training experience and work as a pet photographer. I am currently self employed and am able to come and assist you and your babies any time during standard work hours. After 5pm becomes difficult on a short term notice, but if you request ahead of time I would love to work something out with you. I love hearing all about your pets, honestly, talk away and provide as much info as needed. As a pet mom myself, I understand how important routine and rules are to your family. I will respect all wishes and will come to your home with a sense of calm and respect for your fur baby. I believe that an even tone is key to introducing to new animals and gaining their respect first will always end in gaining their love next.
