About: I am a PhD student at the University of South Florida, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. Over the past five years while in graduate school, I have regularly house sat for several families and cared for a variety of breeds. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels, including young puppies and dogs that require medication. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with both your pet and your home. I have a 3-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer (high energy working breed) that my partner and I raised from puppyhood, so I am very familiar with high-energy, intelligent dogs that need plenty of exercise, attention, and enrichment. Raising him has given me firsthand experience with puppy training, establishing routines, and all the challenges and rewards that come with energetic young dogs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I will do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pride myself on being responsible, communicative, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I have a pretty flexible schedule during the week outside of classes. I have lots of time to check in on animals and take them for walks. I am a very responsible and will ensure that your pet is safe, happy and healthy. I will be sure to give them lots of exercise and love!

Cats, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, and a pony. I’ve also helped family and friends with their farm animals and pets as well. Friends, neighbors, family, and some strangers have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including energetic puppies and senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to provide updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind while they’re away. My last dog Buddy was actually 15 years old and I learned to take care of him very well. He has since passed away but my experiences and memories with him has made my love of animals grow even more! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work during the day, but I am available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and pet care before work, after work, and on weekends. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each pet’s needs while providing reliable, consistent care and attention. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities.
