Christian was such a great sitter! We had our other sitters cancel on us very last minute (6 pm on a Friday night when they were supposed to come at 7) and Christian was able to get to us so quickly. We really appreciated his flexibility, his willingness, and he did a great job taking care of our pups and our home. Our dogs got very comfortable with him (we have a German shepherd so that’s a big deal). We will definitely be using him again in the future.

I was very pleased with Christian! This was my first experience using a house sitter, but he was easy going, great with the dogs, and communicated well. In addition to that, he was very flexible when my plans had to change. Would use him again without hesitation.

Christian was excellent. He watched my 2 dogs for 6 days and everything went really smooth. I didn’t have worry at all. I would recommend and will be using him again.

Christian was a TERRIBLE sitter. He gets 1 star because at least our precious baby was alive when we returned home. I thought I had done my due diligence by looking at his reviews (how he has 5 stars I have no idea), and his bio (ironic that he mentions he’s a big fan of communication when getting any updates from him was like pulling teeth and any questions were often met with one word responses), and having a meet and greet- where Christian made a good first impression but the person that showed up to watch Rambo (and our home) was night and day from the person I met at the meet and greet. We were on the other side of the country and felt completely helpless from the first 24hrs and wished that there was something we could do, but our other sitters were booked, so we had to just hold out hope that the sit would go well as time went on. It did not. From the beginning, he did not adhere to the previously agreed upon sitting schedule- leaving numerous times throughout the day and night for hours on end (at the meet and greet we discussed that leaving for appointments and the like was ok, but both agreed to the expectation that he would be home with Rambo more often than not…which was not the case) and when we returned home, it was evident that he did not follow the feeding instructions for Rambo (when we returned all of the supplements were at the same level as when we left). Furthermore, the way Christian treated our home was appalling, and has left us feeling violated. The house smelled like something had died (we had our home extensively cleaned before Christian arrived), he consumed at least $200 worth of groceries (directly against our wishes outlined in our thorough care guide, and each day I’m stumbling upon something new that he took), personal items of mine found on the kitchen counter (which meant he went through my drawers/cabinets in the bathroom at the very least), grease/oil splattered all over the stove, dishes used and put back without being cleaned, the trash/recycling never taken out, toenail clippings left on nightstands and in the bedsheets, and hair trimmings left all over the bathroom and embedded in the towels. Lastly, I watched him (on our ring camera, which he knew about) pour the remains of his drink into our pool. We have used Rover countless times since 2019 and never had we had an experience this awful. We plan on scheduling all of our vacations around our usual sitters schedule because we refuse to subject Rambo, and ourselves, to something like this ever again.

Christian was SO good with my special needs and senior pups. They liked him immediately, he arrived when he said he would, and sent pics and communication throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

Christian is fantastic. He stayed with our two dogs for the first time and right away, made me feel at ease. He is quick to respond, very cooperative, polite and it’s evident he really loves animals. I would recommend Christian to anyone in need and will definitely ask him to return!
