About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I have had two dogs growing up that I always took care of. I continue to take care of friends and families dogs. I currently work remote full time which gives me the availability to work anywhere. I am free in the morning and afternoons before and after work. I always make sure the animals will stick to their routine if they have one. I always try to play with the animals and entertain them as well.

“Dominique was fabulous with our elderly pup! She hung out with him multiple times each day and also took him on his favorite daily walks. We also received lots of photos and videos while we were away!”

“Lisa is super sweet and was very diligent about sending pics of my sweet babies! I know my dogs (especially one in particular) can be kind of a shy guy and she was able to coax him out and by the end of the stay he was sitting in close proximity to her. I’d definitely recommend Lisa and will be using her again!”

“Kara was punctual even with the snowstorm happening the evening sheet dog and house sit for me. She was super friendly and very good with my anxious GSD Ranger. She was very courteous of my home and very friendly. Kara did great and we look forward to having her come visit more!”

About: Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I have had a number of jobs in the past however most of them contained some element of caring for others (human AND friends with fur or fins!) Due to the pandemic I have found a couple of fun ways to earn some $. I enjoy being a driver for Uber and Lyft. And I have fun caring for a few of my neighbors' pets. I am looking to increase my income by expanding my pet care services. Things that set me apart from other pet sitters: * My schedule is wide open / VERY flexible! * I have a reliable vehicle. * I am a mature, caring, and dependable adult who enjoys all types of pets! I hope to hear from you!

About: I'm a current dog foster through a local shelter, and I've been around dogs and cats for most of my life! I'm comfortable with most ages and sizes, and have picked up a lot of skills and knowledge on how to work well with dogs. I'm just as comfortable with cats, and I have some good experience cat sitting for relatives. I have a very flexible schedule as a graduate student, so I have a lot of availability to fit taking care of pets into my day/week. I try to keep a consistent feeding schedule and make sure dogs go out as soon as I return from being away. I make sure any hazards or chemicals are far out of reach, and always keep dogs on leashes when going on walks outside of a fenced in area. I make sure to monitor toys that can break into small pieces (nylabones, benebones, etc.). I am comfortable crating dogs if there has been previous crate training.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a young child, but have been doing so professionally for 10 years. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a full time vet tech and have been in the veterinary field for over 10 years. So I am uniquely qualified to administer all kinds of medications, including oral, transdermal, and injectable, as well as subcutaneous fluids. I am also a certified dog trainer so I am able to train puppies (and dogs of all ages) and keep up with their current training while you're away. I currently work full time, so I have limited daytime availability. I am off on Thursdays and Sundays as well as most Saturdays, but otherwise can only provide midday drop ins if they are within a short drive from my job in Waukee. I will follow your instructions meticulously and treat your pets as I do my own. I believe it is important to keep as close to a normal routine as possible to make sure the pets are comfortable with their pet sitter while their owners are away. I provide daily text check ins with pet parents as well as pictures of your beloved pet.

About: I love caring for all types of pets. I am dependable and would love to meet your special friend and help with care however needed. Have several acres of a dog Paradise in Adel, boarding available year round & full service grooming Someone is always taking care of animals and your pet will get loads of attention. We have great routine with plenty of play time and activity. Our large, fenced-in play yard is divided into several sections, and nearly our entire property is dedicated to dogs. We’re passionate about caring for them and have the experience to ensure they’re safe, happy, and well looked after.

About: I am a stay at home mom with three children who LOVE dogs. We provide a safe, comforting environment for any pup that stays with us. We love a couch potato who wants to snuggle up with the family after a day of playing in the backyard. We have two Cavachons, Reggie (13) and Duncan (12), they are our old men. We also have our big man, Goose, a 100lb German shepherd. He is the best with dogs and people of all shapes and sizes, truly a gentle giant. We also have a cat, Peaches. She is very social and doesn’t scare easily. As long as your dog doesn’t try to eat her, they will get along great! Most of my clients are repeat clients, our house is already pretty full, so we never have more than one or two guests at a time. I also frequently book off of the Rover app, and try my best to keep my availability here as accurate at possible. It doesn’t feel like you’re dropping your pups off at the dog sitters when you bring them here, it’s more like their home away from home! I please ask that you KNOW your animals are friendly with children before requesting a booking. We want everyone to have a positive experience, and we would prefer our house not be your pets first time interacting with kids. Thank you for understanding! :) I am a stay at home mom with an infant and a toddler. If your pup likes walks (and doesn’t mind walking next to a stroller), they’ll get a walk a couple times a day! I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your pup company during the day. You are welcome to bring a crate, dog bed, whatever they need to feel most at home.

About: I have hands-on experience with a wide range of pets, including administering medications, senior pet support, and basic puppy training such as leash manners, crate training, and positive reinforcement. I’m patient, observant, and always attentive to each pet’s unique behavior and needs. Additionally, I provide detailed updates with photos and notes, so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Your peace of mind is my priority—and your pet’s well-being is my passion. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. I schedule my day around the pets I care for—whether that’s morning walks, meal times, medication schedules, or play sessions. I treat each booking with the same commitment I would give to my own pets, ensuring they get the attention, exercise, and affection they need. I prioritize consistency and reliability, which means I plan my weekly routine to accommodate the unique needs of each pet and family I work with. Whether it’s daily drop-ins or extended care, I’m organized, flexible, and always focused on providing the best possible experience—for both pets and their people. When caring for pets in their own environment, I focus on maintaining their daily routine and comfort. I follow feeding schedules, walk or play with them as needed, and keep their space clean and safe. I’m respectful of your home, and I make sure your pet feels secure while you’re away. I also provide updates with photos so you can see your pet is happy and in good hands. Whether in my home or yours, my top priorities are safety, routine, and love—because pets thrive on all three.

“I have trusted Katie to watch my German Shepherd mix, Elsie, several times. Elsie is always treated like she is part of the family and sometimes I think she is even sad to come home because she had so much fun! I would absolutely recommend Katie as a responsible and loving dog caregiver, it's hard to trust anybody else with my baby girl!”

Nina M.
“My girls Lily and Autumn loved Nina! She sent daily updates of them and usually Lily can be standoffish to new people but she warmed up to Nina the second she met her.
