About: I had a dog when I was younger and I loved him and taught him tricks. I also have 7 cats who I love so much. I work during the week. I have a big yard, however it's not fenced in. I could take your dog out on a leash so they are safe from other animals and the road. I also live in walking distance to the Harmony Trail in Shelby, NC.

If you can give us a few days heads up, that would be great otherwise we will always do our best to offer same day services! We have a fenced in yard with one friendly golden retriever named Maggie. We typically allow well trained pups to roam the house freely however, I can easily crate your dog (or ours) if needed or requested. Happy to help with administering medication if needed and outdoor play and walks will be frequent!

With both puppy/kitten experience and senior animal experience i am confident in my skills and above all care for animals big and small. I am experienced with specialized diets as both my senior dog and cat have special dietary needs, and I've handled giving medicine via shots, pills, and pastes. I do have some puppy training experience as well as working breed care/handling. I love caring for animals and being surrounded by them, so I always make a conscious effort to be with them as much as possible. Of course your furry friends will recieve that too! Meals and proper walks and playtime will always be provided, and I will do my best to fit into any routines of yours that your pet may be adapted to so they don't get stressed from the change. I make sure to strictly follow all rules set out by the pet parents, including being tidy and respectful in the area at all times. I always come alone, you can always be assured I have your pets' happiness and safety in mind. I do not currently have space to board any animals. I also don't mind doing house chores as needed especially plant care, yard cleaning, poop scooping, etc. Just let me know!!

About: I am home everyday all day long, have 6 years of fostering experience with a rescue and 16+ years caring for animals. I can take any dog no matter what size! About: I have personally had animals of a broad variety since I was born. I have sat for friends and family for over 5 years. I love it, love them like my own! I am currently an elementary school teacher and teach until 3 daily. I will be at home daily for the remainder of the day and am always home on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard that your animals can run and play in, an array of toys. If needed you can bring a crate for keeping if they are used to that. I do have cat crates.
About: I have background in the animal control field where I was an officer and also work for veterinary services within gaston county. Your pet will be treated like family here, animals are a huge part of my life. I have had almost every possible animal, horses, cows, cats, dogs, large and small, chickens, pigs, and even fish. I love them all. I do work 4 days during the week but am home the majority of the time to spend with your furrbabies. They will be let out in the morning before I leave for work on those days and immediately after I've arrived back home. I only work 8 hour days and outside of that I'm home the rest of the time. My yard is not fenced in but i live on a cul de sac, horse pasture and cow pasture and tree farm on 3 sides .. i prefer to walk dogs on a leash while outside ( just in case) but if they seem to be well behaved and trust worthy i may play fetch with them and my frenchie in the back yard , there are only 2 houses on my road so we do have lots of privacy. Your furrbabies will stay inside with me.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
