“This was our first time leaving our two Great Danes with a sitter and Heather was amazing! From the beginning of the process until the end Heather exceeded my expectations. She was quick in replying to messages, she came over for a meet and greet weeks before, she was constantly in touch the days before and during our trip, and I woke up each morning I was gone to pictures of my babies comfy on the couch or relaxing right next to her. They were comfortable, relaxing in their own environment instead of scared in a kennel somewhere. I will absolutely use her again and will recommend her to friends and family (as long as they don’t have the same vacation dates as me ?). Thanks Heather!”

About: I owned a dog for a couple years who had a disease that required special care when eating and drinking water, he had a lot of medical needs. I became profiecent in his needs and provided great care before he passed. With that said, I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs. I also have experience raising a puppy from very young, so I understand reactiveity in dogs and have learned different ways to calm them down or pay special attention to them during moments of high reactivity ( like during walks) I am currently work remotely from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during my day that allows me to do side quests such as rover I have a fenced in yard and 1 dog who loves playing with other dogs! so your fur baby would have a best friend to play with during the day. I can also easily crate my or your dog

About: Although I’m new to offering dog sitting services professionally, I have regularly assisted friends and family with their pets, learning how important consistency, patience, and individualized care is. Being trusted in their homes and with their animals has helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. I’m currently working a part time job where I have Tuesday’s off entirely and some days I am only working half days on certain days of the week. I am flexible with my hours and can be available most Tuesday’s and Fridays and part time on Wednesdays. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. I treat every home with respect and every pet with the same care and responsibility I would expect of my own. I follow instructions carefully, maintain clear communication, and prioritize safety at all times.

About: I own two high-energy dogs, Josie and Stella, both raised from puppies, so I know how stressful puppy-parenting can be. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals is where I developed my love for caring for them, and it’s where I learned responsibility. We often head to the farm for extra playtime and walks, so your pup will have plenty of fun, exercise, and love—no energy left behind! I’m currently in school for respiratory therapy, so I’ve cut back on my hours. I work every other weekend at a memory care/assisted living facility. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m in class from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Other than that, I’m pretty available around my work and school schedule, and I can’t wait to care for and love your animals! I have two friendly, high-energy dogs who love to play! While we don’t have a fenced yard, we’re lucky to have country property with plenty of space to walk around the fields.

About: I’ve owned a dog for about 6 years, but I’ve been around dogs and cats for my whole life. I have experience with food aggression, and things of that nature. Above all, I’m extremely patient and willing to take the best care of your pet! I work 3 days a week, and am usually available 4 days a week, as well as early or later on the days that I do work. My dog is a high energy Australian shepherd. We go for 2+ mile walks daily as well as other forms of mental stimulation! I have no problem taking your dog on a long walk or playing typical pet games!

About: I have been in the dog industry for many many years. I have worked in several different roles from city shelters to professional dog training. This is currently my full time job so I am openly available: Monday through Sunday. Preferably between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Thank you! I am an experienced pet owner and dog handler. About: Taken care of my 3 dogs for 10 years, while also caring for neighbors and friends on weekends and during the day! Love to spend my free time walking and playing with all kinds of pets. I am currently an online student for the next year living with my mom. In my last year of college and planning on getting a part-time job but will have a lot of free time!! Can work weekdays, weekends, with any services that are needed. I will care for the pets in whatever way is best for them. About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life, and over the summer said goodbye to my sweet golden doodle of 14 years. He was my bud, and caring for him from puppyhood into his older years taught me so much about love, patience, and the little things dogs need to feel safe and happy. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who needed a gentler care. I’m confident giving medication, following feeding routines, and making sure every dog feels loved. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like family. I’ll send plenty of updates, give lots of love, and make sure your dog is well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my daily life because I’m a senior at the University of Iowa with a flexible schedule. I’m currently taking two classes online and two in person, which leaves me with plenty of open time throughout the day. This allows me to be consistent and reliable with pet care, whether that’s daily walks, feeding, or staying overnight. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to their usual routines, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they might need, so things feel familiar while you’re away.

About: I have cared for (and been cared for myself by) animals of every shape, size, personality, and level of care. I’m currently working retail on Main Street in Galena. Days off are Monday-Wednesday, and I will be available for check-ins or overnight stays any other day as well with notice (generally work 6-8 hr shifts) I am a respectful guest in your animal’s home, and will make sure to follow instructions and ask for clarification about their personal rituals and routines. I’m picky about my boys and their care when leaving them with a “stranger”- so you don’t have to feel crazy if you need constant check-ins (I GET IT, and I also take excellent photos 😊). I will likely ask many questions to ensure everyone’s as comfortable as possible. I know my boys turn into nervous wrecks when they sense I’m packing- and so do I!

About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. My house is set up for pets with limited carpet, doggie steps to lay on a comfy couch, windows to watch squirrels and keep an eye on the mailman. I am also available to love your pets in your home.
