About: I've taken care of and owned many dogs over the years. I have had pets all of my life, dogs, cats, fish, turtles, guinea pigs...you name it! Neighbors, friends and family have continuously entrusted my wife and I to care for their pets. We will board only one family’s dog(s) at a time so you can be sure they get the attention they need. Our four kids are age 7-13 and will also provide extra attention and playtime for your dog. With six in the household you can rest assured knowing your dog will have attention at all times. Our 4 acre yard provides ample space for leashed exploring and there is abundant wildlife in the area providing new smells to investigate. Your dog will be walked a minimum of once in the morning and once at night with bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours or as needed. During the week my wife and I have the ability to work from home to provide care for your dog during the day. We do require dogs to potty trained and not have a history of aggression. They also need to be trained to not chew on non toys unless they are still puppies which we fully understand and can work with! We look forward to having an opportunity to meet you and keeping you pets well loved! No matter what our day looks like, there is always someone available to provide the attention and consistency of car for your dog(s), which is the number one priority. We also have a furnished basement that can be closed off if needed. Or a quiet capped garage and workshop room depending on the sleeping arrangements your dog is accustomed to. About: As a veterinary medical student, who would I be without my at home patients? My personal cat, Skooter, is my special guy as he was paralyzed from the neck down at only 8 weeks old. I obtained him from a rescue organization and have worked extensively to restore his mobility. He has now regained the ability to walk in his own special way. However, there are breeds of dogs are kids are allergic too so we will have to review your dog before agreeing to watch them. We have a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. However, it is not fenced. We will walk your dog a minimum of 2x per day, with bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. Your dog will spend much of their time in our house, or in the large 4x8 kennel we have. We do require the breeds of dogs that we let in our house to not be breeds our kids are allergic too. For pets in our house we also request they do not have extensive history chewing on things they shouldn’t. We’re also good with puppies as we understand they are still learning!

About: I owned a dog for a couple years who had a disease that required special care when eating and drinking water, he had a lot of medical needs. I became profiecent in his needs and provided great care before he passed. With that said, I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs. I also have experience raising a puppy from very young, so I understand reactiveity in dogs and have learned different ways to calm them down or pay special attention to them during moments of high reactivity ( like during walks) I am currently work remotely from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during my day that allows me to do side quests such as rover I have a fenced in yard and 1 dog who loves playing with other dogs! so your fur baby would have a best friend to play with during the day. About: Hi! My name is Mikayla, and I have a lifelong passion for animals and their care. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. In addition to pet sitting and daily care, I work with dogs on basic obedience and agility training using positive reinforcement methods. I enjoy helping dogs build confidence, learn good manners, and have fun while staying active. I also provide dog grooming services on the side, which has given me experience handling dogs in a calm, safe, and patient manner. Because of my grooming background, I am comfortable recognizing when a dog may be stressed, anxious, or in need of extra care and attention. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, training, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I grew up with multiple dogs in my home. And have always had a natural draw to them. Will gladly go above and beyond to provide them all the love and care while you're gone I currently have a couple part time endeavors and am able to create my own schedule, so am open to weekends and weekdays. About: I have recently started dog sitting in my home. I have helped friends and now opening my home to more furry companions to help your family. I am a teacher in Dubuque and have the summers off. During the school year I work from 7:30-4:00 and home full time in the summer months. My home has a fenced in yard and is in the perfect location for walking.
