“Caitlin was easy to communicate with, very welcoming and was flexible with my dog’s needs. My dog came home tired and happy. She sent photos and updates. Her own dogs are very nice, friendly and easy going. Definitely recommend Caitlin!”

“Christene is a GREAT doggy sitter. It is clear that she really likes dogs and has made her home extremely dog friendly. I was able to leave my dog with her knowing she would be well treated while I was away, which was evidenced by Scruffy being in no hurry to leave when I picked her up. I highly recommend.”

“Sydney was an excellent dog sitter. Bandit had a good time and didn’t want to leave. She gave us a cute report card. I highly recommend her. The accommodations were a great setup for dogs.”

“Our pups had a great time! Great communication and we felt so comfortable leaving our pups in their care! We would definitely board with Emily and Kajae again! Thanks so much for the care you provided our fur babies!!”

“Sara was great with communication with us. She set up a meet 'n' greet with my dog and myself before we officially booked. Everything at her place was well set up and I liked the fact that she had an area fenced in for dogs to run freely. She gave updates and sent videos and pictures to us while we were away which my kids loved. Would definitely book again with Sara.”

“Emma our rescue pit/lab which we have only had for roughly 3 months did good for her very first time leaving her. She came back with more manners and listens better. Thanks to Christina for not only boarding, but help us in training our puppy. We would love to have Emma stay with her again!”

“Karlee was excellent, Maverick came home exhausted from all the playtime he got! It was first time using Rover app, so was a little nervous going in, but she sent updates and pics. Will definately use her again!!”

“I can't say enough about Amanda! We felt so good leaving Jojo with Amana and Bailey for 5 days! What an enjoyable vacation we had knowing our fluffball was so well taken care of. THANK YOU, AMANDA!”

“Thomas and his wife are so incredible. Not only did they provide flexible, reliable, and nurturing care for my dog- they also have the kindest hearts and made me feel great about leaving my dog alone for the first time! Thanks again for being so sweet to Kevin!”

“Stacy was great with my dogs. She kept me updated throughout the weekend as to how they were doing. She sent me photos. She gave them massages and took them out for walks. Will be booking with her again.”

About: I tailor my care to you and your pets, with the goal of providing the same love and structure they’re used to. I love to learn their routines, quirks, and comforts so they feel completely at home. I come from a nursing background, so I am comfortable providing medications and treatments. My goal is to create a space where both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I maintain a calm, clean environment, and provide thoughtful attention and careful supervision.
“I had a fantastic experience with Amy & Greg! Communication was fantastic, drop off and pick up were seamless and most of all, they took great care of my Lola! Their pups at home are so sweet and it sounds like their whole family enjoyed having another furry friend to take care of. I would highly recommend and definitely will be using them again.”

“Ashley and her family were great caregivers for our pup, Murphy! Communication was excellent (loved getting photo updates during the stay), and Murphy seemed to have really enjoyed her time at their home.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up with dogs, I quickly became in tune with their needs and can form a bond quickly! I go above and beyond to make every dog I meet feel loved and welcomed. I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses. I’m currently home with my little boy for the summer so my availability is virtually wide open! I’ll be able to provide walks, pets, and so much more. I have an outdoor kennel with a nice house in it if needed. Otherwise, I can provide a crate inside in a calm environment. My 2 dogs are around to play with your dog as well! If you’re worried about my dogs and your dog getting along, I can separate them-no problem.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was in middle school. Since then, I've become a dog trainer and can provide care for a wide variety of dogs, including dogs with additional care needs. I'm an AKC evaluator and I spend my free time competing with my dogs in a variety of sports! I take special care and pride in the animals I care for. I have 3.5 acres for your pet to romp around throughout the day (while supervised of course). I work hybrid so I spend 50% of business days working from home. On the weekends, I don't have to go in-office. My entire life revolves around my dogs and adding your pet into our routine will be an easy transition! I have a 3.5 acre yard and 5 of my own dogs. I keep client dogs separate from my personal dogs and other client dogs unless discussed and agreed upon beforehand so you know your pup is safe. All of my dogs are friendly and play together easily.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Duelm home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Duelm.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Duelm sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
