“We recently moved to the area from out of state and needed to find care for our dogs when we travel. We have gone the boarding at the kennel route in the past and have found it to be extremely stressful for them. They come home sleep deprived and smelly! We have also gone the route of pet sitters who drop in, but then this requires the dogs to be alone in the house in their kennels most of the time. We hadn't really considered leaving them in someone's home until I came across Sara's profile and had a visit with her. She was a fantastic listener and took plenty of time to give me the tour and to learn more about our pets. We just used her services for the first time over the weekend and when we picked the dogs up, they were happy, calm and clean. :-). One of our dogs is a senior dog on medication and overall just a little more needy and clingy and this was not a problem for Sara at all. She is super experienced and our dogs were at ease the first time they met her. She has two older dogs of her own who are absolute sweeties. We look forward to utilizing Sara's services many times in the future!”

I love to learn their routines, quirks, and comforts so they feel completely at home. I come from a nursing background, so I am comfortable providing medications and treatments. I have a special love for elderly animals! I also have significant farm experience, so if watching over your farm is also something you need, please reach out! I work Monday-Friday 8-4:30 with a very flexible schedule that often includes several days per week working from home. On the days I’m not working from home, I typically am not gone for the entire day. The flexibility of my schedule ensures I can do what I need to care for your pets while we’re together! My goal is to create a space where both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I maintain a calm, clean environment, and provide thoughtful attention and careful supervision.
