“Mel was fantastic and went above and beyond to care for our fur babies while we were away for a week. The house was clean and cared for as well, so we did not come back to any pet messes when we returned.”

“Rachael did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Stella. We knew she would be a perfect fit for us. At our first meeting Stella really loved her as Rachael gave her many pats on the head and attention. Rachael sent us photos from each visit and I could tell Stella was happy. I could see her toys had been played with as well. We will definitely be asking for Rachael's help again! We are so thrilled the job she did for us.❤️”

About: Whether I am doing drop-in visits, dog walking or boarding your fur babes, they truly become part of my family. I have always held a deep affinity and bonding affection for animals, and my primary goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free environment for them while you are away. Efficient, loving care of your pets is what I will provide. & your peace of mind will be ensured. As a Registered Nurse, I bring a high level of clinical observation, assessment, calmness, and safety to my pet care. I also worked part-time in a veterinary practice earlier in my career, giving me a solid foundation in animal handling and wellness. I have much experience with my own pets past & present whom I have provided post-surgical care, administered medications & administered insulin injections. I have also administered subcutaneous IV fluids for several of my elderly cats in renal failure. I have loved all of my pets over the years, which included dogs, cats & guinea pigs! You can trust me with your dogs, cats or small animals. I’m currently retired with plans to work PT in 2027. For now I am “ free” to devote my time to your pets as needed. I have a very gentle & friendly rescued Beagle/ Foxhound who enjoys running & romping with playmates in my large fully fenced yard. I have a friendly, funny, curious 2 y/o tabby cat & a curmudgeon 17 y/o Tortie cat who sticks to herself mostly or lounges on her “Thrones” & observes her domain! If boarding, your pets can have relaxed free rein, including resting on furniture. In caring for your pets in your home, I will be respectful, honor your instructions & give affectionate, detail oriented, safe care.
“Victoria was available for our last minute booking! She did exactly what was in the care plan, communicated well and was super friendly! We will definitely book with her again!”

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my calm, attentive approach and my background in caregiving. I have many years of experience caring for dogs, including senior dogs who need extra patience, slower walks, and thoughtful routines. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adjusting activity levels to meet each dog’s needs. On walks, I’m happy to let dogs take their time, especially senior dogs who benefit from slower pacing and plenty of sniffing. I genuinely enjoy engaging with dogs who like to play, while also respecting the boundaries of dogs who prefer a quieter, gentler presence. My professional background in caregiving has taught me the importance of reliability, attentiveness, and respecting rules and routines. I take pet owners’ instructions seriously and care for dogs with kindness, empathy, and consistency, so they feel safe and well cared for. I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. During the workweek, I’m available for morning and evening walks, drop-ins, and care. When I’m house sitting, I can provide morning and evening walks, and on Thursdays and Fridays I work from home, allowing for additional presence and a midday check-in or walk during my lunch break. On weekends, I have more flexibility and availability, which allows me to be more present and attentive to pets who benefit from extra time, companionship, or a relaxed routine. I will come to you and your furry friends. I follow routines as closely as possible and create a calm, safe, and respectful environment. In my clients’ homes, I take time to understand each pet’s needs, personality, and boundaries. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and communicate clearly with pet owners so they feel informed and at ease. I adjust my care based on each pet, whether that means slower, sniff-friendly walks for senior dogs, gentle play for dogs who enjoy engagement, or quiet companionship for pets who prefer space. I keep homes clean, maintain litter boxes or feeding areas, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their people are away.
About: My biggest priority is maintaining each pet’s established routine! I always ask owners about their pet’s feeding, walking, grooming, medication, and training schedules, and I follow their instructions as closely as possible to ensure consistency and comfort while they’re away. If a pet doesn’t have a specific schedule, I typically begin the day around 8 AM with breakfast, followed by a morning walk. I usually aim for about a mile, but I’m happy to go farther for energetic pups or adjust the distance and pace for senior dogs or those with different physical needs. Afterward, I’ll wipe their paws, clean them up if needed, and spend time playing, providing enrichment, or reinforcing their usual training routines. Throughout the day, I balance exercise and playtime with plenty of affection and relaxation. For quieter pets or senior dogs, I love bringing a book and reading aloud while keeping them company and giving them lots of love! During downtime, I also make an effort to tidy up and maintain the home. My motto is to always leave a space better than I found it! In the evening, I typically follow up with dinner, another walk, and some quality time before settling in for the night. I also enjoy cooking, and with the owner’s permission, I’m happy to prepare a little dog-safe treat or meal using appropriate ingredients, provided it aligns with their dietary needs and restrictions. Above all, I’m flexible! Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule, needs extra exercise, prefers a slower pace, or simply wants someone to cuddle with, I’m happy to adapt my day to whatever makes them feel happiest and most comfortable. I am currently going to school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays so those days are the most difficult to schedule for me. I also work part time at Mad Science of CVA, where I am scheduled by season and typically work once-twice a week for two hours at a time. I can pet sit on these days, but depending on the time of my shift for MSCVA, I may have to leave for two-three hours before returning. Since I work full time I can do daily walks and potty breaks between 2 and 3pm Monday thru Friday and weekends I’m available anytime. In my home it will be strictly leash walks because the yard is not fenced. In your home it will be the same unless your yard is fenced.

I will keep you updated with pictures and videos and your pets are in exceptional care. I have an open schedule to cover their needs and care while I’m on duty and they become my family for the time they are with me. I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for over 15 years typically small and medium sized dogs. I do have experience with some larger breeds on basic essential needs and care. I went through a battle of IVDD with my French Bulldog who passed which took a role on how I view the time with animals in general. I have an open schedule and extremely accommodating to your needs. I can work around the necessary schedule. I work this full time and if I don’t have any sitting I also run deliveries. I have a safe and trusted environment. I have one dog who gets along with other dogs but he is hyper and wants to play and nap consistently. I have a cat who does her own thing so my house is relaxed. No little kids and just me and my partner which she works from home so there’s always someone at home.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
