“McKenzie did an amazing job caring for Leo while I was away. The timely communication and follow up was top notch and kept me at ease knowing he was being taken care of in absence.”

“Rachael was GREAT! She communicated with us throughout and gave our kitties all the love! I had such great peace and was able to enjoy our vacation knowing they were in good care!”

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my calm, attentive approach and my background in caregiving. I have many years of experience caring for dogs, including senior dogs who need extra patience, slower walks, and thoughtful routines. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adjusting activity levels to meet each dog’s needs. On walks, I’m happy to let dogs take their time, especially senior dogs who benefit from slower pacing and plenty of sniffing. I genuinely enjoy engaging with dogs who like to play, while also respecting the boundaries of dogs who prefer a quieter, gentler presence. My professional background in caregiving has taught me the importance of reliability, attentiveness, and respecting rules and routines. I take pet owners’ instructions seriously and care for dogs with kindness, empathy, and consistency, so they feel safe and well cared for. I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. During the workweek, I’m available for morning and evening walks, drop-ins, and care. When I’m house sitting, I can provide morning and evening walks, and on Thursdays and Fridays I work from home, allowing for additional presence and a midday check-in or walk during my lunch break. On weekends, I have more flexibility and availability, which allows me to be more present and attentive to pets who benefit from extra time, companionship, or a relaxed routine. I will come to you and your furry friends. I follow routines as closely as possible and create a calm, safe, and respectful environment. In my clients’ homes, I take time to understand each pet’s needs, personality, and boundaries. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and communicate clearly with pet owners so they feel informed and at ease. I adjust my care based on each pet, whether that means slower, sniff-friendly walks for senior dogs, gentle play for dogs who enjoy engagement, or quiet companionship for pets who prefer space. I keep homes clean, maintain litter boxes or feeding areas, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their people are away.
About: I believe you treat all animals like if they are your pet. I’m known to overly spoil my animals with love, funny voices, and care. I will keep you updated with pictures and videos and your pets are in exceptional care. I have an open schedule to cover their needs and care while I’m on duty and they become my family for the time they are with me. I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for over 15 years typically small and medium sized dogs. I do have experience with some larger breeds on basic essential needs and care. I went through a battle of IVDD with my French Bulldog who passed which took a role on how I view the time with animals in general. I have an open schedule and extremely accommodating to your needs. I can work around the necessary schedule. I work this full time and if I don’t have any sitting I also run deliveries. I have a safe and trusted environment. I have one dog who gets along with other dogs but he is hyper and wants to play and nap consistently. I have a cat who does her own thing so my house is relaxed. No little kids and just me and my partner which she works from home so there’s always someone at home.
“Victoria has been our regular petsitter while we work. Our Cavalier, Louie, loves her! She is great with our dog, and has excellent communication with me. Victoria is always flexible if changes in our weekly schedule occur. She always informs me if something comes up and we need to adjust the days she pet-sits Louie. Victoria has such a special way with animals. I highly recommend her.”

“Tiffany was perfect! She stopped by, checked on my babies and even played with them for a few and sent photos. I really appreciate her squeezing me and my babies in at the last minute we are beyond appreciative!”

About: My biggest priority is maintaining each pet’s established routine! I always ask owners about their pet’s feeding, walking, grooming, medication, and training schedules, and I follow their instructions as closely as possible to ensure consistency and comfort while they’re away. If a pet doesn’t have a specific schedule, I typically begin the day around 8 AM with breakfast, followed by a morning walk. I usually aim for about a mile, but I’m happy to go farther for energetic pups or adjust the distance and pace for senior dogs or those with different physical needs. Afterward, I’ll wipe their paws, clean them up if needed, and spend time playing, providing enrichment, or reinforcing their usual training routines. Throughout the day, I balance exercise and playtime with plenty of affection and relaxation. For quieter pets or senior dogs, I love bringing a book and reading aloud while keeping them company and giving them lots of love! During downtime, I also make an effort to tidy up and maintain the home. My motto is to always leave a space better than I found it! In the evening, I typically follow up with dinner, another walk, and some quality time before settling in for the night. I also enjoy cooking, and with the owner’s permission, I’m happy to prepare a little dog-safe treat or meal using appropriate ingredients, provided it aligns with their dietary needs and restrictions. Above all, I’m flexible! Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule, needs extra exercise, prefers a slower pace, or simply wants someone to cuddle with, I’m happy to adapt my day to whatever makes them feel happiest and most comfortable. I am currently going to school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays so those days are the most difficult to schedule for me. I also work part time at Mad Science of CVA, where I am scheduled by season and typically work once-twice a week for two hours at a time. I can pet sit on these days, but depending on the time of my shift for MSCVA, I may have to leave for two-three hours before returning. “Fergus (our cat) loves Virginia. He never purrs for anyone the way he purrs for her. When we got home today after being away for several days, my husband heard Fergus meowing through the door before we entered and said to me, "I pretty sure he's meowing 'Virginia! Virginia!' He's going to be so disappointed that it's us!" Virginia is great with Fergus, very kind to us, and has been just a perfect pet sitter.”

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
