“Amanda was great! We booked her last minute over the holidays and she was very responsive and took great care of our cats (and our house during a deep freeze!). Highly recommend!”

“Lidda was wonderful. Callie is a blind geriatric cat with some medical issues that includes daily IV fluids. Lidda made sure Callie had her meds on time and did an excellent job with the daily IV. She fed Callie and made sure her litter was clean. She, also, spent extra time with Callie giving her cuddles and attention, which was very reassuring to me as a cat Mama. She has a warm smile and a loving heart. This was the first time I have ever left Callie with anyone, The general rule is, "If Callie can't go, I don't go." This was just one of those few times when it just wasn't possible for her to go and I had to go. She did such a great job that I will probably be utilizing her services again in a few months. I have full confidence in her and in her care of Callie.”

“Brooke is so great with the pups and always willing to help - even on short notice! She stays with them a while and always plays with them to get their energy out 😊 we are very thankful for her!”

“Brooke was excellent with our pets during our trip out of town! I really appreciated that she kept a consistent schedule and sent us updates with lots of pictures of our dog and cats. Our dog can be anxious while we're away, and Brooke was very gentle with earning her trust and making sure that she felt well-cared for during that time.”

“Morgahn helped us out last minute and took great care of our two kitties. She’s very friendly and dedicated to helping animals. Would book again :)”

“Aaliyah was quick to respond and did a fantastic job looking after my girls. She kept me updated throughout the stay and even took great pictures of them, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pups and would absolutely trust her with them again”

About: I’ve watched all sizes puppies and all sizes are puppies. I’ve watched a senior babies and foster pups and middle age babies. I love the fur babies and want them to be happy while parents are away. I work full time but come home on my lunch break and let my dogs out and give them a treat. My bonus mom also gets home before me and lets my dogs out so it’s every couple of hours they are let out. I have a fenced in yard and y dogs don’t go out without me being there with them each time. I keep a water bowl outside and I have a ball for fetch and a few toys too
About: I have taken care of my families pets, and my neighbors pets since I was 13 years old. Everyone and my neighborhood trusted me to go and feed their fur babies and if need to be, take them for a walk. I am currently working part time, as a certified nursing assistant. So I have very flexible hours and I’m willing to work with your schedule. If your fur baby will be boarding with me, I have one loving dog they can play with and/or I have two very playful cats and a variety of space where they can play.

About: I will take care of your fur family just like my own. I have experience with pups and senior pets. I also have experience with taking care of large animals as well. I will feed horses and muck stalls if need be. I have no problem feeding ,cleaning up and loving your babies. I’m an empty nester so I have time to take care of your babies. My home routine starts early every day. I have my pets on a twice a day schedule. I’m an empty nester so I will have time for your pets needs , no worries. We have six beautiful dogs , ages 7 months to 11 years old. We have three cats and two horses. Our babies are fed twice a day and two of mine take allergy meds every day. They all are on monthly heart worm / flea and tick medication. Vet care is very important. I can also take your pet to vet appointment as well.
About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity
About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.

About: I’ve spent my entire life around animals! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, fish, lizards, birds, you name it. My dad is a veterinarian so I grew up learning about pet care, how to administer medications, the do’s and don’ts, etc. And I promise to take the cutest candids of your pets! I have two kitties, Ollie and Luna, and love them both so very much! I hope to one day have dogs again but I currently live in a smaller apartment. My partner and I love to take them on walks in their stroller & backpacks. I love to craft, hike, paddle board, and play pool! If you have any questions, please feel free to message me💖 I currently have 2 cats that I take care of. I feed them each and every day and I clean their litter boxes constantly because even cats can be a tad messy sometimes! I play and cuddle with them everyday and make sure to show them lots of love! When taking care of anyone’s pets & fur babies, I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, & have enough toys to play with! When pet sitting, I of course check to make sure they have necessities like food, water, & treats (if allowed). I, myself, have pets and worry about them feeling lonely or missing me. I make it a point to treat anyone’s pets like my own. Which is why I always make sure to give lots of love and sit and spend time with any pets I get to visit with!
About: Hi my name is Olivia G and I am the dog parent to an adorable chihuahua named Lilo! Animals have always been a part of my family and hold a special place in my heart. A wise person once told me find a job that speaks to your heart and you will never work a day your life. I have found that at Tulane University where I work directly with the women’s basketball team as the Director of player development and video. I believe Rover can also be a job that speaks to my heart. If you are looking for someone that will love and care for your pet as their own. I am the person you are looking for. It would be my honor to take care of your dog.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Doyline. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
