I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

“Lidda was wonderful. Callie is a blind geriatric cat with some medical issues that includes daily IV fluids. Lidda made sure Callie had her meds on time and did an excellent job with the daily IV. She fed Callie and made sure her litter was clean. She, also, spent extra time with Callie giving her cuddles and attention, which was very reassuring to me as a cat Mama. She has a warm smile and a loving heart. This was the first time I have ever left Callie with anyone, The general rule is, "If Callie can't go, I don't go." This was just one of those few times when it just wasn't possible for her to go and I had to go. She did such a great job that I will probably be utilizing her services again in a few months. I have full confidence in her and in her care of Callie.”

About: My own girl, Minerva, recently passed away (in her late teens). She was with me for over half my life, but I was there for all of hers. She was a squirrelly girl, so no cat is too weird. I’ve watched other people’s cats for over 6 years, mostly me worshipping the ground they walk on and scooping the box. If the kitty wants to cuddle, I’m all for it. About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. About: It can be really hard with work or other responsibilities to spoil your pet like you want too. Let me help! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Currently, I have a miniature schnauzer mix. His name is Teddy! He’s super sweet and he’s spoiled rotten! He’s pretty small but I’ve kept dogs of all sizes. Big or small, I got you. If it’s a drop in just to check, or you need me to watch them for a week while you go on vacation. I can help! I have a fenced yard now and your pup will have a friend. His name is a Teddy, he’s a miniature schnauzer and he loves to play! My daughter also loves all the animals that comes to visit, so expect your pet to be a little spoiled to her when you return! I finally finished my nursing program! YAY! Nurse Beth has a nice ring to it! Thank all of y’all for all the wonderful support. However, that means I won’t have as much time to take care of all your sweet doggies. I am more than happy to keep your pet but please understand I will no longer be home all day. I have some help at home so I’ll still be overseeing the care of my regulars when I am able too. I have a fenced in back yard and a sunroom that’s heated and cooled! About: I’ve loved animals since I was young. I grew up with goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and many more fun critters. I find a lot of joy being around animals. When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for playing and exercise. I also have two dogs that love making new friends. For boarding at my house I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time. Whether it’s in the backyard playing, going on a walk, or a trip to the dog park. I’m also up for quiet days with snuggles on the couch. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. I also have indoor cameras to monitor my pets while I’m not home, so your pets will always have an eye on them even if I’m not physically there to ensure their safety. For overnight stays in your home, it is completely up to your discretion how you’d like me to care for your pets. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. About: Almost every firefighter has a part time job, so I chose this as mine because I love animals and I couldn’t think of any better way to relieve stress from work than to love on dogs all day! I have a pretty large fenced in backyard, although the house and furniture is open to your pups as well. I have two dogs of my own that love playing with new friends, but if your dog is shy of others I have a dog room in my house for my own dogs and another room for new friends to hang out as well. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young. I grew up with goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and many more fun critters. I find a lot of joy being around animals. When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. For overnight stays in your home, it is completely up to your discretion how you’d like me to care for your pets. If you have special instructions for your pet care I am open to almost anything, I don’t think any ask is too big or too small.
