“We planned a trip at the end of a busy week and had totally forgotten to plan for our Bicken. I rushed to find a walker late at night and Jamie responded very quickly and within minutes we had it all figured out. She was very patient with and really easy to work with. We definitely could use her again!”

About: My lifelong journey with animals began early on where I was raised on a farm and active in 4-H. Whether you have a spunky puppy/kitty or a gentle senior needing extra patience, I provide a calm, structured environment tailored to their unique personality. I specialize in providing a low stress experience. From senior pups needing a slow pace to high-energy dogs looking for a walk, your fur babies will be treated like members of my own family. I am self employed with a flexible schedule so I am usually available to spend time with your fur babies. I'm very responsible, punctual and love to communicate with pet owners with updates and photos! For Drop-In Visits (Cats & Dogs): For home visits, my priority is maintaining your pet’s existing routine to minimize anxiety. For Dogs: I focus on a productive potty break, fresh water, and a 'sniffari' (a mental-stimulation walk) or indoor play. For Cats: I focus on their specific social needs—whether they want active play with a wand or just a calm presence nearby while I refresh their food and litter. I always perform a home security check before leaving (ensuring doors are locked and water bowls are full) and leave a detailed 'petdate' on how they behaved and what we did. Dog Walking: Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy level and the weather. I practice 'defensive walking,' meaning I am always scanning for other off-leash dogs or distractions to keep your pup safe. I also pay close attention to Shreveport’s heat; I check pavement temperatures and ensure we stay hydrated and shaded.

“I can't say enough great things about Stephanie.I'm recovering from a total hip replacement I would leave the door unlocked and she would get the girls walk them and even get them their treats when they got back. My girls are very Leary about going off with someone else without me in their sight. They warmed up to her in no time to where they were waiting and watching for her.”

“Our dog loved Michaela who walked him everyday for three weeks. She was competent, kind, and always on time. We will definitely look to hire her again in the future.”

Jeffrey F.

“Rachel is an excellent dog walker! She is highly responsive, flexible, always punctual and very energetic. Our dog Ally gets a great work-out on her walks with Rachel. Highly recommend.”

Lauren S.

“Emily is wonderful! She kept me updated on my pups health & wellness, I felt at ease on my trip knowing I had someone who genuinely cared for my dog in my absence. I would 100% book with Emily again! I HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you Emily!!”

“Thanks Jessica. I did not worry about my doggie. Jessica took great care of my doggie. She texts and send pictures to let you know that your pet is during fine while you are away. As long as she wants I will always call for her to take care of my pet. Couldn't ask for a better person. A+in my book.”

Kathy D.

“Jennifer went above and beyond while watching our dog, Sammy! She sent a ton of pictures and updates while we were gone. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future!”

Katie M.

“Stephanie is amazing! My dog loves her so much! She’s so easy to schedule with!”

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity

About: I love working and meeting new dogs. Being able to provide one-on-one time with your fur baby is important to me and I look forward to forming new bonds. I have time throughout the day and evening for drop ins and walks. Ensuring your pet has attention and is loved is the number one priority for all visits. When caring for a pet in a client’s home I like to ensure the pet has an enjoyable time. I am flexible to do walks and rubs to keep your pooch smiling.

“Rileigh was so amazing and keep us up to date with our sweet pup!”
