For Drop-In Visits (Cats & Dogs): For home visits, my priority is maintaining your pet’s existing routine to minimize anxiety. For Dogs: I focus on a productive potty break, fresh water, and a 'sniffari' (a mental-stimulation walk) or indoor play. For Cats: I focus on their specific social needs—whether they want active play with a wand or just a calm presence nearby while I refresh their food and litter. I always perform a home security check before leaving (ensuring doors are locked and water bowls are full) and leave a detailed 'petdate' on how they behaved and what we did. Dog Walking: Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy level and the weather. I practice 'defensive walking,' meaning I am always scanning for other off-leash dogs or distractions to keep your pup safe. I also pay close attention to Shreveport’s heat; I check pavement temperatures and ensure we stay hydrated and shaded.

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. I make sure all pets are in a secure space, with doors, gates, and surroundings checked to prevent any risks or escapes. I closely monitor behavior and keep pets away from anything harmful, while also maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 20 years. I spent several years working as a vet tech at a local animal hospital in Bossier. My dog, Frisco, lived into his senior years so I have experience with senior animals as well. I work from home so that will allow me to walk your pet at any time of the day. Whatever their schedule is I will be available for them. I offer walking dogs, taking them to the park, & just dropping in for some play time. Dogs need exercise and with busy work schedules it’s hard to get to them on your lunch break. Let me be your dogs lunch buddy!! You can expect picture check-ins from your fur baby while you are away!

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.
