“Jewell was absolutely amazing with my dogs! 🐾 She cared for them like they were her own and kept me updated the whole time. My pups were happy, calm, and clearly adored her. I highly recommend Jewell to anyone looking for a loving, reliable pet sitter!”

About: My name is Alaska (Angelina) Barnard, and I provide affordable, quality care for your furry friends! As a former Animal League volunteer, my day job is non-profit HR - but my true passion is working with animals. My goal is to offer professional, personalized care to your pets in the comfort of their own home. Meal prep, walks, medication, play time, and general care are included; and of course, I will always text/email you photos of your pet if requested. :) I have experience with large dogs, elderly dogs, food aggression, social anxiety, and abused pets - whatever the situation, everyone’s needs will be met. (Theirs AND yours.) Please feel free to let me know during our initial consultation what I can do to make you and your fur friends more comfortable. :) Thank you for considering me! Former animal rescue volunteer, previous dog-sitting, breed-specific training. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs since I was a little girl! When I was growing up, my grandmother and extended family took in rescue pets; so I learned to love and appreciate animals from a young age! I work 9am-5pm, hybrid remote. :) Non-profit HR is my field, but I have quite a bit of free time out of office when I decide to take it. I will reach out for an initial visit/consultation in your home or in a public place so that you can get to know me, ask me questions about myself and my experience, and develop a rapport that you can feel good about. My goal is to put your mind at ease, whatever that looks like for you.
About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and have two of my cats who do not currently live with me. one I’ve cared for over six years. I’m easy to work with, dependable, and especially patient with senior pets. I gained a lot of experience helping care for my grandma’s senior dog, as well as two crazy pugs (so i can handle anything). Whether it’s dogs or cats, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Saturday i am busy all day, but Friday and Sunday available after 6. I am free to help with whatever you need throughout the week. When caring for pets in their home, I treat them like family. I carefully follow any care instructions, feeding, walks, medication, and spend quality time giving them attention and comfort to help them feel safe and loved while their owners are away.
About: I have always had a dog in my life since I was born but my caretaking journey started when a little corgi entered into my world. She was an escape artist, food fiend, she couldn’t be left for too long and she battled anxiety her whole life, but she brought me the most joy. She taught me attentiveness, and limitless love. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge so I have been missing the presence of my fury friend but am excited to hang out with doggies again!!! Skills include: puppy care, senior care, special needs. I am a grad student and my weekends are usually free. I have class 9-5:30pm tue-fri. Mondays are always free. As of now my summer is completely open for bookings. I appreciate a list of instructions specifically stating your pets schedule and needs. The more detailed the better:) I love to take videos and pictures to keep you updated through the process. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your baby with a stranger.
“Sonja is an absolute joy to have. I am glad that we found her. Bruno loves walking with her. The pictures that she takes say it all. Would recommend Sonja to all my friends and would continue to use her if she didn’t have to move. We will miss her!”

About: I got my first dog when I was 4 years old and have ever since had dogs in my life. Whether mine, friends, or finding fur mates to walk and puppy sit. I love to travel so don’t have any of my own but wherever I go I make sure I have a running/ walking/ snuggle bud close by. I have cared for puppies, small dogs, elderly dogs, and very large dogs whom needed extra care. I’ve administered ear and allergy medication and my best friend is a Veterinarian so she has always been very helpful with any questions I’ve had. I’ve cared for cats as well. I’ve lived with 4 different cats and have watched 2 others but have never had one of my own. I enjoy running, hikes, and walks on the beach so it’s always nice to have a buddy to have tag along. I enjoy throwing the ball and I love teaching dogs new tricks! I’m very patient and persistent so I have done well with training if I’ve had quality time with them. I really love animals and getting paid to hang out with them is literally a dream. I would love to care for your pet and make a new friend ☺️. I am pretty flexible! Just message me with any scheduling questions that you may have! I am available most weekends and some of the holidays :) I care for dogs in clients home, but can board cats. I cannot board dogs cause the condo I live in does not allow it.
“Abry was great with my Dog . Felt safe letting her take my boy. She did a great job with him and he’s not the easiest dog to walk. Big and strong and mind of own on where he wants to walk.”

“Highly recommend her! She communicates and arrives on time. Our dog must have really enjoyed his time with her because he was napping when I got home and was tired. She updated me with great pics of their walk.”

“Michelle was a great dog walker and helped out when we were in a real pinch to get Maggie walked. She was professional, on time and it was so nice to know Maggie and I could count on her. And Maggie loved Michelle too! Excellent dog walker!!”

About: I have love and appreciation for all animals and believe they should be treated with respect. I’ve had dogs and cats of all different breeds and temperaments and have never met an animal I didn’t love I was recently laid off from my tech job so I am looking to be a pet sitter with my free time until I find another job. Taking care of animals is a passion of mine and will always respect the wishes of the owner Although I am in an apartment, I live in a community that is easily walkable and with several dog parks within walking distance. Even if your dog doesn’t fit well in a dog park environment there is plenty of space to walk and parks to explore
About: I’ve been running a “private flight crew” for dogs in my past apartment community for the last 4 years. Now that we’ve moved into a home with a yard, I’m able to expand my guest list and offer more First-Class stays. I specialize in creating a calm, boutique boarding experience with small groups, gentle structure, and tons of personal attention. My background is in real, in-home care for dogs of all personalities — seniors, shy pups, social butterflies, and everything in between — and I focus on safe introductions, cozy routines, and individualized care so every pup feels secure and completely at home. You can also catch us on instagram - CanineconciergeSRQ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — it’s part of my everyday “flight plan.” I work from home and stay hands-on throughout the day, so the pups enjoy consistent attention, yard time, play, treats, and snuggles. My husband, Riley, is also a co-pilot in our little operation, and for reasons unknown, every pup decides he’s their instant favorite — I’ve accepted it. Together we keep a calm, steady rhythm with morning potty breaks, midday activity, afternoon naps, and evening walks or yard zoomies. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, each pup gets the time, structure, and companionship they need to feel completely comfortable and cared for. When pups stay in our home, they live right alongside us — part of the household, never tucked away or left alone in a separate space. I tailor each dog’s care to match their routine and personality: slow introductions for shy pups, structured play for energetic guests, cozy rest areas for nappers, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I supervise all interactions to keep the environment peaceful and positive, and I follow your feeding, medication, and comfort instructions exactly as you share them. Riley is also involved in the day-to-day care (and yes, he somehow becomes everyone’s favorite within minutes). With only a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to give each pup thoughtful, individualized attention and create a safe, familiar, truly home-like experience.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and I love animals. Currently I have three of my own. I am able to give medication and follow care instructions. I am currently a stay at home mom and have lots of time to love on your fur babies. I love to go on walks and we also have a large back yard and a dog door. And our yard is fully fenced. I have three friendly dogs to keep your dog company. Cash is a 10 year old husky, Biscuit is a two year old pomapoo and Poppy is a one year old Yorkie. The yard is fenced and I also can easily keep your dog comfortable and crated if/when needed.

“Ashton was so nice and patient with my dog, he is very anxious and not always the friendliest but she did a great job with Apollo, and Apollo seemed to also be very confortable around her, we will continue to use her services as we were very pleased!!!😄”

“Wonderful walker who was chill around my energetic Golden and was able to manage his excitement. Carolina took great pics of Captain and really captured who he is on his walks, happy with a stick and running joyful. That let me know he enjoyed his time with Carolina and was comfortable with her — we will be rebooking!”

Downtown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Such a great first impression! Sofia went above and beyond in more ways than one. We really appreciate the punctuality, clear communication, and pictures of our sweet girl. Gives us lots of joy knowing they could brighten each other's day. Will definitely use her services again!

Jewels was wonderful. She did a meet and greet prior to the actual dog walking appointment. That really impressed me. She also faced numerous challenges with my condo complex and access. But she overcame them with no problems. She also kept me informed about everything with my dog. Cant say enough good about her. I highly recommend Jewel.

Carolina is awesome!! This was my first time using rover and she made it super simple and comfortable! She came to meet our dog first and was always timely and even cleaned up after our dog when she had an accident. She is super sweet and will be working with her again in the future!

she was last-minute booking because of an illness with my other Dogwalker and she was my hero yesterday!! Responsible on time wonderful with my dog I can’t say enough great things about her. I feel like I just got so lucky. I look forward to being able to work with her again.
