Pet Sitting in Downieville

About: I have been petsitting since 2014, as of recently taking a break from my full time corporate job. I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I have a fully fenced in wooded yard and two of my own dogs who are ready to play. They are supervised at all times if outside.

About: Hi there! I have a 10 year old husky shepherd mix who loves to play. I am comfortable with spirited dogs but am happy to work with quieter, more timid dogs as well. Most animals are at ease around me and I take care of your pup like I would my own! I enjoy being active with animals of all shapes and sizes, playing, and being sensitive to their needs. I am formally trained by Paw School and I work with simple methods and treat bag (taking into account any allergies you may report) to help train or maintain your dogs manners. I will be patient and respectful with your dog and your home, and like to have fun and develop a bond with the animals I meet. I look forward to working with you! I have some commitments out of the house but can take your individual pets needs into account when pet sitting to ensure they have the attention and outdoors time that they need! We have a large yard and enjoy taking long walks in the forest outside our front door. Our yard is a dog’s paradise with places to run, to look out on the world, to sunbathe, and to take cover in the shade.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and am currently a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind so haven’t been dog sitting much lately. I love all animals and making new furry friends. I have 10 years experience dog sitting dogs that aren’t my own. I am outside everyday and can take your dog on runs, hikes, walks or play frisbee! I have experience house breaking rescue dogs and teaching them dog tricks. I also work close by and have the flexibility to go home during the day. About: I live in Silver Plume and work from home full time with some occasional travel here or there (just depends). There is a lot of flexibility in my job when I’m at home and I wanted to offer to anyone who has dogs, cats, or any other pets my services. If you have an animal that needs to burn off energy, I will do my best to do so wether it’s a hike, playing fetch or something else! If you have a low energy animal that wants to sit on the couch and sleep, that’s completely fine as well. I enjoy giving animals love and attention! I will make sure to follow proper feeding and medication schedules as needed I will treat your pet exactly how I would want mine to be treated and that is with love and respect ❤️

About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born. Always living with at least two in my house. Most have been rescues but I have had the opportunity to train some from 8 weeks old. I watch both of my best friends dogs when they go out of town usually for a couple of nights. I love dogs with all my heart. I always walk and care for them no matter whose they are. I also offer hourly dog training for real-world situations like paddleboarding, biking, store manners, and other types of environmental training. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rodents, and reptiles. As someone with pets, I know it’s important for them to feel loved and safe even when you’re gone; it’s also important for you to know they’re safe and well cared for. I currently work full time and have a cat, so I am sadly unable to host your pet in my home. My work schedule is flexible and I am available for limited overnight stays. I frequently travel through the i70 corridor so am able to be flexible on location and hours. Weekend work is preferable but weekdays are always open for business as well:) I am unable to care for pets in my home, as my cat is king of the castle and does not accept any intruders in his kingdom. When caring for your pet in your home, I aim to stick to their routine as much as possible and am happy to accommodate the majority of requests.
