About: I have a golden retriever of my own, and have been dog sitting, walking and taking care of other families and friends dogs for about 5 years. I am home from college for the summer, and taking classes at night. I am available during the day and mornings, and have fairly open weekends. I have experience walking pets, feeding them, giving them medication if needed, or just spending time with them while their owners are away! I love sending photos and videos to their owners while they are away.

I offer reliable dog walks and drop-in visits to make sure your pets stay happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes except giant breeds, and I’m happy to care for cats as well. During every visit, I’ll provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, walks (if requested), playtime, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. I’m currently working part time night shifts. So I will be available to watch your pets, or walk them between 10am-4pm. Monday-Friday typically. And I’ll be between Lusby Maryland and la plata! Can’t say I’ve had a pet I didn’t enjoy having. I always make sure litter boxes are clean, bladders are empty. Food and water bowls clean and filled. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for friends, family and coworkers for over 20 years and I’m comfortable with any and all animals. I currently work at a Vet office where animals are my specialty and I’m trusted with others animals. I know of medical terms and how to give basic care until help arrives (if necessary). I pet sit for older people that just need a little bit of extra help, and I’m happy to do it! I love seeing smiles on peoples faces knowing their pups, cats, bunnies, etc are being taken good care of. I have open availability! Open schedule for whenever I’m needed. I have a side job, but I do it when I want to and don’t have a set schedule with that job. I’m self employed basically. I make sure they have water and food whenever they’re scheduled which is usually 8am for breakfast and 4pm for dinner. I don’t let my cats out ever, I don’t really like having cats outdoor like that unless that’s how they were raised. I make sure their litter is clean and taken care of at least twice a day and make sure the dogs are getting walks, pets and snacks. Just making sure the animals are comfortable really is my goal.

About: My time working a the trading and boarding kennel had allowed me to handle sometimes over a 100 dogs in a day, each one with different personalities and needs. Each time I would take them on their potty breaks I would make sure to lavish them in attention and play chase if they felt inclined. I also have monitored up to 10+ dogs together in group play, being very careful to watch behavior and know when a dog has had too much or needs a better playmate. I am also an experienced feeder that can create highly individualized meals and medicate dogs through pilling or hiding meds in food/treats. This also includes non-oral meds like ear and eyes drops as well as topicals. Before the kennel, I walked many neighborhood dogs, taking them for long 30+minute walks and ensuring they were fed and had water. I would stay and give them attention after their walks to keep them company if I was not spending the night. I have experience in using E-collar and commands as well. I mostly used commands for feeding purposes but I can also use them to stop bad behavior. Injuries can also occur not matter how careful one is, be it a broken nail, ear inflections, or cuts and scrapes. I have experienced this many times at the kennel and am apt at tending to said injuries should they occur. I’m currently working a part-time graveyard shift which still gives me a lot of time to play and interact with your pet. I am only 24 years old which allows me bounce my sleep hours around so I can still care for your pet. I work hard to slowly build trust with nervous dogs and give them all play time, pets, and treats (owner approved of course). If there are any special needs, like age or aggression, I take extra care to ensure everyone and dog is safe and secure around me.

About: I have had dogs in my household ever since I was a little girl. I have had a chocolate lab, boxer mix, basset hound, German shepard, pit bull, and now Mr. Oakley who is a lab/pit mix. I love to bond and care for fur babies and I enjoy playing and loving on them any chance I can get. Hi! I’m currently a full-time teacher in Anne Arundel County and an experienced caregiver who loves spending time with animals. My background in education has made me responsible, communicative, and dependable. Starting in June, I’ll have a much more flexible schedule as I transition from teaching, allowing me to offer more availability for walks and drop-ins. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I care for my pets in my home by making sure their food and water bowls are always full and fresh. I make sure that my dog gets some outdoor playtime each day to burn off his energy and to be able to stay healthy and to help us bond together. I love to spoil my dog with homemade popsicles, treats, and yogurt bars are his favorite! My dog loves to have all attention on him and he is a sucker for a belly rub followed by jumping in your bed to snuggle with you.

About: My love for animals started the day a stray Bassett hound wandered into my garage at the ripe age of 4. Ever since then I have taken in all animals under my care as my own! I love take care of all the furry friends! I have personally owned puppies, big dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and gerbils - although not at the same time (could you imagine, yikes) and watched after the same! I have done any and all visits whether it is a quick play date or a longer visit due to vacation! I enjoy building a long term relationship to provide a dependable sitter throughout the year! I have a child in elementary school and work at a high school during the day. If and when an overnight sitter is needed, I assure you I make arrangements prior to accepting to give my 100% to your fur baby! I like to mimic the care the dog has at home to make sure they are most comfortable. In the beginning I expect normal hesitation, so I am patient and playful to earn trust until everyone is comfortable.

About: Ive taken care of many pets with specialized needs. This includes routine medicine and eye drops for the elderly, frequent belly band changes changes for those with bladder issues, and calming treats for those fearful of storms. Im quick to learn each dogs bathroom tells to avoid any unwanted accidents. I also have fishkeeping experience with 2 freshwater fish tanks at home. So if youre fish needs feeding or water quality checks I can handle that was well. I am currently working a part time internship with flexible hours, which allows me to care for furry babies in my free time! Weekends are typically busy, however with enough notice I can make them work. House rules are always respected, no matter how much a dog wants couch cuddles or if the cat likes the view from on top of the counter.
