About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

“Nicky was the most professional person. Arriving a few minutes early to ensure he got everything he needed done prior to arriving (securing parking, front desk reception etc.). Asked thoughtful questions about the care of our dog. Checked in throughout the day, and ensured our dog was walked throughout the day. Our dog LOVED him And even gave him her paw (which she only does when she is comfortable). You could tell he truly cares about dogs/animals. Anytime Nicky is free we’d love for him to sit our dog Bagheera any day. Could not ask for a better sitter.”

About: I have had a pet companion for 35 years. I have raised 3 wonderful miniature dachshund. I have been pet sitting for almost 10 years now. I have cared for diabetic dogs as well as elderly ones. I am Semi-retired and available 6 days a week Mon-Sat. Sundays are possible for certain situations. I always try to accommodate for your pets specific needs. I live in a condo in Wilton Manors so therefore I can only accept small dogs for petting sitting at my home. Any size dog though for sitting for dogs in their home.

I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m reliable, flexible with scheduling, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part time so I am almost always available on the weekends. I am pretty flexible so for those last minute needs you can count on me! I myself have beautiful Labrador retriever dogs who I give all my attention to and always make sure they are always cared for. I also make sure that my animals are properly house trained.

Mater was so happy when we got home, but also seemed like he missed his new friend! Matthew also cleaned the sheets, made the bed and washed all the towels. He kept the house very clean!
