About: Hi! I'm Ilaria, originally from Italy and recently moved to Fort Lauderdale with a regular working visa. About: I've been looking after dogs and cats for almost everyone I know since I was twelve and I've wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. Currently, I'm saving for vet school, but before finding Rover I worked in veterinary offices and boarding kennels where I was responsible for everything from filing medical records and booking appointments to group enrichment and food and medication administration (including subcutaneous fluids). I have also trained dogs professionally (mostly puppies, but some older dogs as well) and fostered for the county shelter. These experiences have made me comfortable with medical and behavioral challenges with animals of any size and I am confident in my ability to care for your fur babies as well as I do mine. Lastly, dietary restrictions excluded of course, don't forget the treats and toys! I am very big on enrichment and positive reinforcement and I'm yet to meet an animal who didn't want a little spoiling. I'm excited to meet you and your pets and hope to foster a long and trusting relationship with both. I am home almost every day that I am not out on Rover jobs. This allows me the flexibility to work with multiple pet families and meet everyone's needs. As all pets are different, I am happy to discuss care plans with pet parents to make sure I can provide what is both needed and wanted, but my schedule is flexible enough to accommodate the vast majority of requests. I do request at least 4 hours notice (including service confirmation) for walks, 2 days notice for drop ins, and a week's notice for house sitting. This is to ensure that I can meet the needs of all clients adequately as well as schedule my non-pet care obligations appropriately. If you are in need of services on shorter notice than the above, I will do my best to accomodate but services will be subject to a 40% upcharge as a rush fee. I am active on Rover throughout the day from about 9am to 8pm (unless I am actively with client animals in which case I remain accessible to said client minus times I am indisposed). I am happy to walk/drop-in on pets several times a day. Administering food and medication during these times is something I am completely comfortable with as I do so for my own animals regularly. Scooping litter boxes is also well within my wheelhouse (though my cat is particularly picky and has a self-scooping one for his comfort). I am used to active/playful dogs and cats as I have one of each myself and I am happy to take some long walks and/or get a good play session going depending on what is most appropriate for the animals in my care. With permission (and the appropriate safety gear) I am also happy to take dogs to their local dog park for socialization and peer play.

About: For over 10 years, I've cared for dogs of all kinds for friends and family. I've provided walks, feeding, playtime, house sitting, and in home boarding. Pets always receive dependable loving attention. Since I work from home full time, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, timely walks, and drop-ins throughout the day. I can also work on the go, making it relatively easy to adapt to each pet's needs and routine. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment that’s perfect for small to medium-sized dogs. Since I work from home, I’m able to spend the whole day with them, making sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would my own while keeping pets happy, healthy, and comfortable. My goal is always to make sure your loved one enjoys the best pup-cation possible!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid! I have a 4 pound Yorkie named Halo, and we love, welcoming friends in our home! I work from home, so plenty of love and attention and walks for your pup! I am comfortable with Senior pups as I have cared for my past pup, and I’m comfortable with puppies and I have cared for litters a couple times from my past dogs and rescue puppies. I’m currently working from home, so plenty of time for walks and care for your pup! I also have a rooftop deck that me and my pup love to get some sun time without a leash. My neighborhood has plenty of grass to roll around in and we even have a large park around the corner with dog parks if that’s what your dog loves. I have a large home with plenty of space to play, and we always welcome the pups on the couch and bed in this home so they won’t ever feel lonely. We also have a rooftop terrace if your pup loves a little bit of sunbathing and we are close to dog parks! I also live in a gated community for extra safety

“10000/10 would definitely recommend having Mafalda watching your pets. The care and effort she puts into taking care of your pet and making sure they are having a fun time is unmatched. She took my dog out for pup cups all the time, has a pool for dogs to go swimming in, and does pet happy hours every week. My dog did not want to leave lol. She also updates you multiple times a day on how your dog is doing and sends plenty of pictures so you don't miss your fur baby too much. In addition my dog was just getting out of her heat, and she was not only willing to still watch Ginger but also accommodated to her needs perfectly. She truly loves animals and even has separate rooms for your pets just in case your pet gets a little overstimulated like my dog does sometimes. Could not recommend her enough! She'll definitely be seeing Ginger again next time I'm out of town.”
“Definitely a 5 Star sitter. I contacted Taylor on very short notice. She responded within 10 minutes. She was watching my dog with in 1 hour. My dog Cookie really liked staying with Taylor. She was very loving to my dog. Taylor sent me several pictures and videos of my dog during the day. I would highly recommend Taylor to watch your pet. We are definitely going to use Taylor again to watch my dog. 👏”

“Antonio came through for us in a pinch over Thanksgiving holiday and we are so grateful! This was Marley’s first time staying with Antonio and from the moment we met him at his grooming salon (which is so nice btw!) we were instantly comfortable. We are helicopter parents and he didn’t bat an eye and was totally understanding of our novel of instructions and requests including her preemptive first aid medicines. We can tell he was very attentive to Marley while we were gone and she got walks and lots of treats and even made a couple of pup friends who he was also babysitting. We got updates and pictures everyday and Marley came home fresh & fluffy (as we took advantage of his grooming service 😃) and happy. Thank you so much Antonio for taking such good care of our Marley!! We would happily recommend him to anyone have have him babysit her again! 🤗”
