About: I’ve been taking care of pets as a job since I was 10. However, I have grown up from birth around many different animals in my household. Ranging from dogs to turtles, I’ve had it all! About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Before Vera, my golden retriever, I had cats my whole life (Kitty, Bugsy, Shadow, and Tiger), along with ferrets, guinea pigs, fish, iguanas, and hermit crabs. Vera was born with partial facial paralysis, and one of her eyes can’t blink, so she needs frequent eye drops to stay comfortable. While living in the Bay Area, I founded Bay Area Golden Retrievers, which grew to become the region’s largest golden retriever meetup group. I’ve spent a lot of time around dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I know how to read them and keep them happy and safe.
