Ria was wonderful! Communication was quick, booking was easy, and we could tell our doggo got some good exercise on his walk. Ria also left detailed notes and plenty of pics for us and we could tell he was getting plenty of attention. We felt completely comfortable leaving our furry family member in her care and highly recommend her.

About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals. My dog Holly is mostly an inside dog but always has access to fenced backyard through doggie door. The same would apply for any dogs I care for.

About: I have a 7 year old ‘puppy’ Jaxon who is my reason for loving dogs so much. I often pet sit for my family for their 2 labs, and my sister in law’s beagle. It’s important to me as a dog mom & travel lover that my own dog feels at home with whomever he stays with when I travel & I want to offer you that same peace of mind and comfort. I am attentive to each dog’s needs and make sure that they receive enough exercise and play time so that they are happy and occupied. As they say, a good dog is a tired dog! I’ll make sure your pupp receives all the exercise and attention they need. :) I currently make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for your pupps. I can be available for multiple drop-ins, for walks, structured play time & potty breaks. I offer drop-in visits. I am happy to stop by and walk your dog multiple times a day, depending on their needs and energy level. I’m used to my high energy dog, who needs lots of exercise and play - he loves fetch. I am willing to care for your dog as if they are my own, making sure they get all the attention & love they need :)

Worked as trainer & a farrier, a wrangler, fostered & petsat for 7 years, worked dog hotels & w individual petowners, volunteered at shelters, rescues, & ranches/stables. -HOME 24/7, ALWAYS IN MY CONSTANT CARE. -SINGLE STORY/ WITH A YARD. -2 FRIENDLY DOGS MYSELF, PLAYMATES :) -Well rounded background in animal care, & husbandry. - My animals come 1st, They eat before I, always. -Experience varies in animals of all size, age, special needs etc. I dedicate all of my attention, to their comfortability, administering daily care, & providing companionship. Working with animals teaches you nonverbal communication, situational awareness, and extreme patience ! I hope I can be given the chance to present my experience, & be the new best friend to your baby.🥰 -I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule to attend to your dog's needs. - My home is completely fenced in - safe for your dog to roam and run around supervised. -Can easily crate or separate the dogs if needed. - Neighborhood is safe and dog-friendly - No kids or cats in my home - Have my A/C on constantly (necessary with the summer heat!) - Usually only book 1 client at a time to ensure I give your dog the best attention. I have a fully fenced yard, and two very friendly dogs. If needed, my pups definitely can be separated, or crated. In my client's home, I follow every rule and expectation they imply. I take extra precautions being in the client's home, as I dont want anything to happen to any of their stuff or their furbaby.

About: I’ve always had animals around while growing up. I don’t think I can recall a time I haven’t had a pet. I even insisted on rescuing my dear Daizie May when I was 12 from the pound. I’ve helped raise several litters and rescue any dog I see in need. I have to actively stay off Facebook as to not fall into fostering or taking in any animal in need. My boyfriend calls me a Disney Princess with the way I communicate with my animals. It’s all about body language, respect, and patience. Trust is extremely important. I currently work a flexible schedule in my family owned business and am looking for side jobs that I also am passionate about. Any time that I’m needed I can usually make it work. I’m ready to follow and assist in whatever systems are set up in your family and household. Whatever your fur family is used to! Photos are VERY important and cherished.

About: I've always had friends with dogs and have done house and dog sitting for many years without any issues. I also have a saint Bernard, Banks! I'm currently looking for a new job after I was laid off from my former job. I have a lot of time on my hands currently so I have open availability. I take my doggo out on walks every day! We're also lazy from time to time but we're usually more active. I'm very engaged with my dog as he can be very energetic so I can definitely handle bigger dogs with a lot of energy.

I have had bunnies to hamsters to fishes all throughout my life! I just recently moved to the area and while I search for employment, I would love to walk your dogs🥰 I love animals so I thought this would be perfect for me! I do not currently plan to house others animals at my home because I do have two fur babies of my own. I do have a full backyard that is all fenced it though.

About: I have taken care of many animals since I was around 12 years old. For years, people within my community have come to me to take care of, or spend time with their sweet (and sometimes not so sweet) pets while they were away, and because I am so used to caring for children, I have a special place in my heart for pets of all kinds. I am very patient and nurturing and have many pets of my own back home in GA where I grew up, but because I am away from my own fur babies, I am hoping to have the opportunity to spend time with yours, just as if they were mine. :) My typical full-time job is within the film industry, which is shut down for the time being due to a writer’s strike that has forced thousands out of work for an unknown amount of time. With that being said, I’m spending a lot of time at home and have a completely open schedule for pet care! The writer’s strike likely will go on for months, so I am fully available now for full-time pet care and will still be available part time once the film industry is back up and running! I have always felt comfortable having pets on my furniture as well as in my bed, as I grew up with three “lap dogs” who crave constant attention and cuddles. I understand that not all pets prefer to be touched or held, but I like to give pet owners that option. :) I am a pretty active young adult, so I love dogs that like to go on hikes or walks around our nice, friendly neighborhood. (or yours!) I never let my own animals’ food or water bowls go empty, so I make sure that the pets are always well maintained and taken care of. I am attentive, caring and patient and I’m eager to share my love with your pets!

About: Hello! As a devoted dog mom myself, I understand the importance of trust, safety, and individualized attention for every fur baby. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or special care needs, I’ll treat your furry friend like family! I’ve been blessed to have pets in my family my entire life. I adopted my own large pup three years ago and I adopted my kitty in 2014. I trained my puppy and have also trained my cat (yes, it’s possible). I am good with all dog sizes and all cats! I’m currently working full-time but I have a flexible schedule. I can work around the needs of your fur baby! I am free most early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Long walks, extra cuddles, and lots of love. My fur-babies are my children. They are so spoiled and I carry myself the same way in caring for others!

About: Hi, I’m Ismara! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover with 20+ years of hands on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’m based in Big Bear and the Coachella Valley, and I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and loving when it comes to your pets. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, elderly, or has special care instructions, my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m also the proud co-owner of Pawsitive Patrol LLC, a local pet waste management business. Pet care is a part of my everyday life, and my experience has taught me the importance of responsibility, cleanliness, reliability, and paying attention to the little details that keep pets happy and healthy. A little about what I offer: 🐾 20+ years of hands-on pet care experience 🐾 Loving, individualized attention for every pet 🐾 Experience with feeding schedules, walks, medications, and special requests 🐾 Comfortable caring for pets in your home or mine 🐾 A secure fenced deck at my home for safe outdoor time, sunbathing, and play I also have experience caring for reptiles and amphibians and have some of my own! I absolutely love unique animals and would be excited to care for your scaly, feathered, or unusual family members too. From reptiles and birds to chickens and other special pets, I think every animal deserves the same patience, attention, and love. As a small business owner, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to truly focus on the pets in my care. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment because I understand that your pets aren’t just animals — they’re family. I would love the opportunity to meet your pets and become someone you can trust whenever you need care! 🐶🐱🦎 As the owner of a local pet waste management business “Pawsitive Patrol” I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to truly focus on giving your pets the attention, care, and love they deserve! 🩷 🐈🐕🦜🦎🐟 I have a fenced back deck for your pups to run around and sunbathe at my home. But I also have no problem taking care of your pet at your own home.

Caesar is so knowledgeable and patient with my Mastiff and Boston terrier. My mastiff is not typically comfortable with men and Caesar has been working with him, taking him on walks and after a couple of visits their total pals! Caesar knows a lot about dog psychology and has helped me a lot with how I work with my dogs. I highly recommend using Caesar for all of your pet sitting services.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 726 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Doble. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Doble. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Doble.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Doble. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
