About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I cared for hamsters, fish, and even a little parakeet. At 19, I adopted Max, a sweet lab mix who became my constant travel companion for 11 wonderful years as we explored the East Coast together. I’ve raised all my dogs from puppyhood, giving me plenty of experience with training, socializing, and caring for them through every stage of life. Today, my family and I live on 220 beautiful acres in Chestertown with: Beauty – Aussie Heeler mix (5) Scooby – lovable mutt (2) Yakko & Dot – tuxedo cats (3) 70+ chickens with big personalities A lively 55-gallon aquarium with community fish and snails, which has taught me the importance of maintaining delicate habitats Living with so many animals — from dogs and cats to chickens and aquarium life — has taught me patience, adaptability, and the joy of connecting with creatures of all kinds. Whether it’s walking a high-energy dog, keeping a shy cat comfortable, or caring for fish and poultry, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I split my time between Chestertown and Glens Falls, which means I can offer flexible pet care in both areas. I’m available for drop-in visits in Glens Falls on the days I’m there, as well as home stays in either location. I’m currently recovering from a car accident and walk with a cane, so while I can’t take dogs on long walks, I can safely let them out into a fenced yard or supervise them on a lead. At this time, I’m not offering boarding services in my own home, but I do plan to in the future. For now, my focus is on providing reliable, in-home care and check-ins so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort always come first. In your home, I follow your routines closely — from feeding schedules to favorite playtime activities — so pets feel secure in their familiar space. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye on water and food bowls, and provide supervised outdoor time in fenced areas or on a lead. In my home (for future boarding services), pets will enjoy a calm, animal-friendly environment on our 220-acre property, safely separated from my own animals as needed. I have experience managing dogs, cats, poultry, and aquarium life, which means I’m attentive to different needs and personalities. As a volunteer firefighter here in Chestertown, safety and responsibility are part of my everyday life. I also believe trust is built through clear communication — you can expect regular updates, photos, and honest feedback while your pets are in my care.

Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have consistently trusted me with their pets, and I take that responsibility seriously, treating every dog as if they were my own with patience, attention, and care. Pet care fits into my routine by being something I plan around my schedule every day, even when I’m busy with school and practice. In the morning, before I leave for my first class at 8:00 a.m., I make sure my pet is fed and has fresh water. This is an important part of starting the day because it sets a routine and ensures my pet is taken care of even when I’m not home. Since my school schedule is split throughout the day (8:00–9:00, 10:00–12:00, and 2:00–3:00), I don’t always have long periods at home, but I still try to check in whenever I can. After my last class ends at 3:00, I go home briefly before practice. During that half hour, I might let my pet outside, clean up after them, or spend a few minutes giving them attention. After practice, when I get home around 5:00, I have more time to focus on pet care. This is when I usually feed my pet again, take them for a walk if needed, and spend quality time playing or relaxing with them. In the evening, I also make sure everything is set for the night, like refilling water and making sure they are comfortable. Overall, pet care is a consistent responsibility that I fit into both the small breaks in my day and my longer free time at night. Even with a busy schedule, I make sure my pet’s needs are always a priority. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home. I have a fenced-in yard, so dogs get plenty of time outside to run and play. I also have a pup of my own who loves being around other dogs, which helps keep visiting pups entertained and social. Throughout the day, they’ll have a mix of playtime with other dogs and one-on-one attention, along with lots of cuddles so they feel cared for and not alone. Inside, I make sure every dog has a space where they feel secure. I have a crate available if needed, but there’s also plenty of room if you’d prefer to bring your own crate. I focus on keeping a routine that includes feeding, outdoor time, and attention, so each pup stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I’m a big dog loving guy, looking to make some extra money. Don't let me fool you though. I love any size dog. I’ve had dogs all my life, ranging from a Chihuahua to Saint Bernard's. Whether they are sweet or mean, it doesn’t matter to me. I always find a way to bond with the dog. If you are looking for someone to do "drops ins" and "pee breaks", or a quick walk because you are late coming home from work; or maybe perhaps stay the weekend with you dog, I’m your guy. I work a Monday through Friday, full time job during the day. I’m always available before or after work, every night, and weekends work great for me too. Of course I would like to meet the dog first, but I don’t think I’ve ever met a dog that I haven’t gotten along with or bonded with. I’ve had a few dogs throughout my life and I treat them like my own children, as I would yours. I’m available for let outs every night of the week, and depending on my schedule, I can stay with your dogs on the weekends. Depending on my schedule, I may be able to do stay overs during the week as well.

About: I have tons of personal experience with my own childhood dogs as well as all dogs that I know through my friends, family friends, coworkers etc. whether your dog wants to snooze the day away or walk for miles on end and sniffing everything in sight, I’m happy to offer my time and attention for your fur baby to be 110% taken care of when you’re away. I also fully believe anyone on vacation should be able to enjoy their time away without excessive texts from a sitter—so unless you want extensive updates, I would only contact you if it was absolutely necessary/urgent. If you want daily updates, I’m happy to do so because I know I enjoy some cute pics of my cats snoozing away in the sun on days I go to the office! I work remotely and depending on your needs and distance, I am available for mid day drop ins. If given enough time to plan ahead, I can also be available to work remotely from your home to keep your pets company in your absence. I’m extremely flexible—willing to stay overnight or just do day time visits. I always like to schedule a meet & greet beforehand for any service. At this time, I do not offer any services from my own home since I rent and have 4 cats of my own that would definitely not enjoy extra visitors. I’m happy to conduct any services from your home. Again, I always like to schedule a meet & greet beforehand for any service. For home stays, I also prefer 1 emergency contact that lives close by and the address/phone number for the vet your animals see. In return, I’m available for your 24/7 during the services you have trusted me with 😁

I have experiences with animals from reptiles, to kittens/puppies, and horses. I work normal 8 hour shifts 5 days a week, with an occasional 6-12hr shift either daytime or overnight at least once a month. My goal is to have weekends and time before and after work to be there for your fur babies. I will make sure your pets are well taken care of. Whether that be a bath, given treats, taken for a walk, let them run in your backyard, car ride, or even just relaxing in the living room. I will treat them as if they were my own.
