About: I am a retired high school educator, artist, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. I am a five-star walker and a very reliable and compassionate caregiver for your pet. I often feel we are kindred spirits and I am totally intrigued by their individual personalities. I have cared for dogs both personally or professionally for most of my life and willingly care for your pet and their individual needs. Whether it be exploring adventure, padding the neighborhood (walking or running), gifting belly rubs, or providing hydration & nutrition, your pet’s needs will be personalized while in my care with much love and affection. In the future, I hope to rehabilitate dogs and work with their family members to provide a safe space filled with discipline, affection, and a true sense of belonging. You can depend on me and trust that your pet will feel cherished and loved while in my care. Since retiring from teaching, my hours of 1:1 attention have expanded. I am now available to give full weekday hours to your pet in addition to my time during weekends. While caring for pets in parks and neighborhoods, I keep them on a leash during all walks and runs. If we are lounging in the yard I provide the dog an opportunity to relax on a lead while I am outdoors with them. For owners who allow their dogs to visit Lakewood Dog Park’s expansive exercise area, I monitor those dogs while they run and play off leash under my constant supervision. While indoors, I follow the rules that my pet owners prefer whether it be cuddling on furniture and slumbering in bed with me or crating them within their cozy caves with their favorite snuggle toy. I do everything I can to mirror the eating, playing, and napping comfort with the same positive experiences your pet receives in your living home while throwing in a little extra spoiling 🐶❤️🐶

About: I’ve had dogs as pets since I was 5 years old, I love the companionship of pets, especially since I work from home. My last dog Pepper sadly left us after a beautiful 16 years and so I think this is a great way to keep that connection going. I work remotely and have the flexibility to be away from my desk often. I love going for walks around my neighbourhood with my son and being outdoors in general, I used to live in Florida! I live in a pet friendly neighbourhood, with a dog park a short walk away. I also have plenty of outdoor space within my own home for pets.

“Darien did a wonderful job looking after our senior cat! She took great care of him and also looked after our house to make sure there were no messes - she even took our garbage out and brought packages in! She went above and beyond and we would highly recommend her! Thank you, Darien!”

I treat every pet like family, always focusing on their comfort, safety, and happiness. I have most evenings off as I’m off work by 4:30pm. I can also do walks in morning before 8:30am. I have weekends available for your care needs. Every family is different and the need of your fur baby is too! I will work with you on your pets preference. Safety is my priority and all walks will be on leash.

I am available after 3:30pm everyday and Sunday and Monday all day. We can arrange time and make it work. I am flexible to accommodate hours. About: We are 26 years old and have both grown up with dogs. We’re the type of people who ask to pet every dog we see in public. We have been watching dogs on Rover since 2021. Dogs cared for include all sizes and ages! My husband and I will treat your pup like our own during our time with them. We have a Golden Shepherd (1/2 Golden Retriever, 1/2 German Shepherd) who is 4 years old. Her name is Marley and my husband and I have put in a lot of time training her. She is VERY friendly with all dogs and people! We also have a 2 year old Scotch Collie named Oban. Our home is nestled in a great neighborhood for walks. We also have a large fenced yard where we often let the dogs run around and play. We are both full-time teachers, we are able to care for your pup on the weekends for boarding. We are flexible & willing to work to best fit you scheduling needs. We will treat your pup like our own. Our home is nestled in the perfect neighborhood for walks. We have a large fenced yard. Our dog Marley is well trained & is extremely friendly with all dogs and people. Our 2nd dog, Oban, is also friendly, but is sometimes nervous around new dogs.

About: My name is Katherine and I have large history of taking care of all types of dogs and cats. I’ve taken care of small, large, seniors, puppies, non-trained and even dogs that require medication, you name it! From a young age, my parents owned a pet sitting business called Fetch Pet Care and I would always love to help by walking, playing, and eventually learning to train some pooches! I have had about 7 years of total experience taking care of animals and using Rover.com! In 2021 I started my Bachelors in Physical Therapy and have been in school since. I now have a break for the summer and am eager to get back into my passion, which is taking care of pets! In my home, I have a cat named Mocha who has a bit of a medical history. in 2023 of January he was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). My fiancee and I decided to invest into a medicine called GS to save his life. After 90 days straight of injections, he is now cured and healthy. With that being said, I am able to administer any kind of medicine (orally or injectables) if needed for your pet. I am also able to train dogs at a basic level (teaching commands, potty training), as well as how to roll over, high-five or paw, etc. Being with animals is like therapy to me, I just love spending time with them. I go above and beyond to make sure your dog/cat has a relaxing and fun time! Since it is the summer time for me and I am currently not in school, my schedule is flexible and open for the next few months. There are many things to keep in mind when it comes to taking care of your beloved animals. A typical day with a dog involves walks, playtime, feeding time and resting periods. Based on what kind of exercise your dog needs, I am able to fit into any type of routine. If the dog needs an easy-going, normal walk with lots of potty stops, I would accompany that. If the dog requires lots of exercise and needs to go on a run, I am also able to do that. Health and Safety is crucial when it comes to taking care of animals. If the pet needs to have medicine administered I am able to present that as I have previous experience taking care of animals that need extra care and medicine. I would monitor your pet at all times and make sure it is living in a clean environment.

About: I have helped my best friend (of 17 years) with his current dog and late dog with feeding, walking, playing, staying overnight, staying for an extended time, cleaning up after messes in the house, everything I can think of. I am always eager to help out so that you do not need to stress about a single thing. I want you to be able to leave your house knowing that your pup is left in the best of hands. I can be serious when I need to for any disciplinary measures you might have in place to keep it consistent, and all the fun in the world as well to keep your pup entertained while you are away. I believe in keeping dogs active when they want to be and letting them rest when they want to as well. I have helped out my best friend with some foster dogs lately, including a current foster pittie, and with their own Rover dogs they watch at home. I currently still live with my parents who are allergic to most dogs, so I have to come to your place. I unfortunately cannot have dogs over. I hope I can be of service to you in the future, and I look forward to meeting many pups soon! I just got a job as a supervisor for a grocery store, so I will see if I have a set schedule or not so I can help out the most. I still intend to help out here on Rover :). I have a ton of doctors I see, so my weeks are a little goofy, but I will do my best to update my calendar to reflect my schedule ASAP! I spend a lot of time at my best friends' house right now (my best friend and his wife) watching their dog and feeding him when they are both working. They have also had their current foster over a month now, so I feed him and shower him with love as well. I grow attached to dogs' personalities. I have also trained dogs using training treats to sit, stay, "wait" and "free" for eating food, "wait" and "come" for treats, how to ring a bell on the back door for potty with the cue words "sit" "gentle" (tap the bells hanging on the door gentle with their nose) "thank you", paw, and down (lay down). I am not saying I would be able to do this with every dog, but if you wanted me to try to teach your dog anything, give me the challenge! I love a good challenge! I would like to make something clear that is very important for medical reasons (I even have the paperwork to prove it because of how ridiculous it sounds haha): I am extremely allergic to heat and can overheat/faint super easily (within 5 minutes usually) so walking your pup in 90°+ weather would be VERY difficult. But ALSO, I am DEATHLY allergic to extreme cold. The cold can kill me. But as long as I bundle up, I’m fine. So winter walks shouldn’t be much of an issue :). I will always make sure to clean up after every visit, I want to make that abundantly clear. I LOVE to clean, and I refuse to leave a mess for you to clean up if it happened on my watch. I will always make sure to follow your rules for your pups if you have certain rules to follow. I will never EVER judge anyone for any rules in place. I only want to do what is right by you in order to provide the best possible experience so that when you get back home, your dog will be so happy to see you or asleep in my lap from playing so much. I truly do want to be the best I can be as a dogsitter, so if there is anything you want specifically for your pup, do not hesitate to let me know. I am very laid back and very understanding. I have over 16 years of retail experience under my belt, so I guess I just aim to make sure that the customer/client always knows they're worth it! I never mind helping out!
